Brantwood is the perfect base for your Blue Mountains experience. You may choose to just stay in, relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings or venture out to see what Blackheath and some of the nearby villages have to offer.

Blackheath is a beautiful and welcoming village with some of the best seasonal colour displays. Autumn brings stunning colours with the changing leaves; winter brings the possibility of snow; the spring time gardens are abundant with colourful rhododendrons and azaleas and in summer you will experience the cool breeze that comes with being at the peak of the Blue Mountains. Blackheath village has a wonderful variety of restaurants, charming antique and boutique style shops and a friendly pub.

There are many local walking tracks at Govetts Leap and Evans Lookout or you could take a short drive to one of the various attractions such as the Zig Zag Rail, Jenolan Caves, the Three Sisters at Echo Point, Leura Mall and Wentworth Falls, all with their own galleries, antique and craft shops, restaurants, cafes and walks.

Perfect for golfing groups - picturesque Blackheath Golf Course is a challenging Par 69 course with fairways surrounded by hundreds of colourful rhododendrons, azaleas, pine trees and conifers, home to many native birds. After a round of golf you are welcome to relax in the clubhouse and enjoy the atmosphere. The clubhouse has a brasserie, bar, member’s lounge and billiard room overlooking the course.

The master bedroom is furnished in French provincial style with a beautiful queen size bed, an adjoining bathroom and French doors that open onto the front verandah. The second bedroom features a queen size bed; the third bedroom has two single beds and the lounge room has a double trundle lounge. All bedrooms have built it wardrobes. Fine quality linen and towels are supplied for your stay and all toiletries are provided complimentary.

At Brantwood Cottage the house is warmed prior to your arrival during the cooler winter days. We supply a large breakfast basket with provisions for your first morning plus coffee, tea,wine,cheese and crackers. To keep you entertained, we have a large selection of books, magazines, DVD’s, CDs, games and some fluffy toys for the children.

After a long day of golfing or sight seeing, sink into a deep bubble bath, sit by the cozy log fire, relax on the front verandah or fire up the BBQ. All bookings are tentative and confirmation of the reservation will only be made on receipt of a 50% deposit. Full payment required no later than 1 week prior to your arrival.

All cancellations with less than 7 days notice will forfeit the 50% deposit. All cancellations with less than 2 days notice will be liable for the full tariff. Deposits are not refundable or transferable unless two weeks prior notice of cancellation is given.

We accept payment by MasterCard, Bankcard or Visa.

Occupants will be liable for any damages.

  This is the charming Brantwood cottage where we stayed at in Blackheath. We enjoyed the most relaxing 3 days there. The surroundings were beautiful and the décor of the cottage is devine and we appreciated the style and care that was given to the presentation both inside and out. I did not want to leave to come back to Sydney and wished I could have stayed longer. Every comfort of home was there for us and there was not one thing we were left without. I still think of the pleasant times on the front verandah sipping coffee and eating the fresh pastries we had bought at the local Café. The main bedroom was especially beautiful with French Doors that opened on to the front verandah. Having central heating was an added bonus so we were lovely and cozy. It was so peaceful just to stretch out on the lounge and read. The modern kitchen was a joy to use.We cooked bacon and eggs with toast every morning for breakfast which was graciously provided by our hosts, Tanya and John.The little village of Blackheath is pretty and is why we usually choose to stay there on our getaways. I especially love to browse the antique Market in Blackheath.You can enjoy many pleasant afternoon walks through the Memorial Park. A short drive will take you to Govetts Leap and the Megalong Valley as well as many other Lookout points around this area.

  Wonderful - Perfect Winter Escape

  What a charming and wonderful place Brantwood cottage was. It was the first time to the Blue Mountains for my partner and I and Brantwood cottage was a wonderful find. We decided to stay at a cottage over a hotel/resort as we wanted to spend our time relaxing indoors with good food and wine in front of the fire. The cottage had 3 bedrooms but we only used one (plenty of room for a large family!). Kitchen was well equipped and stocked with bacon and eggs and all the breakfast supplies.It had a lovely living area with tv/dvd and fireplace. It was the touches such as lots of candles and throw rugs to get cosy on the lounge that was much appreciated.
  
  Also must mention how helpful Tanya and John were. I changed the dates of my booking a couple of times and sent emails asking for recommendations on horse riding and places to eat and they were very accomodating and helpful.
  
  Will come again!!

  Brantwood Cottage is the perfect place to escape the city... so neat and tidy and well equipped.
  The extra effort that the owners have obviously gone to so that the property is comfortable and homely stands out from other rentals.
  It was such a friendly, professional and simple process to make the booking and confirm all details.

  delightful cottage. welcoming food hamper has everything for a hearty breakfast. Also wine,chocolates and a food cupboard full of those essentials. salt sugar tea coffee jam sauce etc. very good tv. perfect for golfers. we have stayed a few times and have booked again for 2012. a full second bathroom would make the place perfect. take care when you use the front steps. we understand tanya and george are working on the situation .Overall.. Go and you will enjoy!!

  We've been coming to Brantwood Cottage for the past four years and each year it only gets better. The friendly service, presentation and level of cleanliness goes above and beyond expectations. The little extras make all the difference, the wine, chocolates, cheese and crackers, and breakfast provisions are a treat.
  Brantwood Cottage has become our home away from home. Thank you John and Tanya. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. Highly recommended.
