Riverview, FLA Wonderful Experience!!
Left on 05/05/2013 for a stay in April 2013
After driving nine hours from Tampa, FL, the entire family was ready to take a look at our accomodations. Through the small dirt road that leads to the cabin we rode, the side of the mountain on one side, a small stream on the other side. Up and up we went. The entire family was thrilled. Finally we made it there and needless to say, the cabin was all that we expected. You know that weird feeling you get when you're staying in a strange home? Well, I can honestly say that none of us felt that way. It was as if we had been there before. It was a wonderful stay and I highly recommended to any who wants a bit of relaxation and closeness to nature!!

Great service! Sandy was great to work with very pleasant and accurate. Gave lots of ideas and things to do. The cabin was very homely feeling, stocked well. Nicely decorated and clean. Kids (ages 19 and 11) enjoyed the gameroom. We saw 4 deer during our weekend stay. Only thing did not like was drive up to cabin wish we would have drove the truck instead of the car, not that the car wouldnt make it just the truck would have been higher off the road and less worried about the graveled road. All and all great cabin would definatly come back. Thanks so much!!

JacksonvilleGetaway was awesome!!!
Left on 04/16/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We just spent ten glorious, relaxing days at the Getaway. It was beyond fabulous. When you walk in, it feels like home. The furniture is comfortable (ver important my sister and I), it is clean, well maintained and most of all, right smack dab in the middle of beautiful Blue Ridge, Ga. There is so much to do, from hiking, shopping (lots of shopping!) to their beautiful sights. Even ten days was not enough time to do everything we wanted to do. I would highly recommend this cabin, as well as the property owners, Sandy and al. They are right on top of things, if you have any problems, they are reachable. Thanks Sandy and al! We will be back!!!

Left on 04/11/2013 for a stay in March 2013
My sister and I go on a 2 week vacation every year picking a different location in the mountains each year so we know what makes a cabin comfortable and inviting. We loved this cabin. The beds and sofas are comfortable, beautiful outdoor decking, nice kitchen and close to just about every place you would want to shop, eat or sightsee. The owners are some of the nicest people we have ever rented from. Everything was as it was stated. You cannot go wrong with this beautiful cabin but just like Sandy told us, you better get there during the day. This is a mountain.

Left on 07/09/2012 for a stay in July 2012
First, Sandy is wonderful to work with, she made the rental process easy and organized. The location was beautiful, you felt like you were secluded, yet you were a short drive to local attractions and eateries. The cabin was perfect, they really spent the time to think about what their guests would need when vacationing in a home setting. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, and pans. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and they even provided body wash! In addition, they had easy to follow instructions on how to operate the TVs, gaming system, and hot tub. In short, I would recommend these owners and their cabins without reservation and look forward to renting from them again and again.

My husband and I booked the cabin only a few days before our stay. Sandy was very informative, providing a lot of information on the cabin and the area. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and had just about anything one would want or need to have a relaxing time. We had a great time!

Left on 11/20/2010 for a stay in October 2010
We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. It was rustic and cozy. We very much enjoyed the fires at night as well as the jacuzzi. The area was beautiful with the fall colors and cool nights. Great hiking around the mountain and the clean, fresh air to breathe in,,, refreshing. We did get to check out the quaint downtown. The people and neighbors we met were very friendly and dog friendly too which was great for our angel girl. Sandy was a delight to deal with and was more than helpful with information of things to do around the area. A long weekend is too short of a time to enjoy it all. Next time it will be for a longer stay.

This cabin was great! A definite home from home.So relaxing and yet so much to do - you almost didn't need to leave the cabin as there was so much entertainment right there! Walking on the mountain, basketball, Pool table, Games, TV, Hot tub. Plus comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, etc. Blue Ridge and Elijay have plenty places to eat. There's a Zipp line opening near Blue Ridge which will be alot of fun. Opening Sept. Horse back riding was fun. Amicalola Falls was beautiful, many other walks around the area too.

We enjoyed the stay very much. The kids had so much fun in the hot tub and playing air hockey. Added bonus getting to see the family of wild turkeys while soaking in the hot tub. The house is immaculate and very kid friendly. Wish we would have stayed longer.

We wanted a family vacation to relax and spend time together in a relaxing atmosphere. This is what we got at antler Ridge. Sandy was great to work with and everything at the cabin was as she said. We have 2 teenagers which enjoyed the stay, especially the wide screen Tv's and basketball court. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was great and well stocked. As for wildlife, we did see deer, peacocks and turkeys. It was nice to feel semi-secluded. There are neighbors but not in close view. We would definately recommend this place and would love to revisit again.

We have stayed at both of the cabins that the Powell's have adn we have had a great time. The Powell's are super easy to work with and if you have any problem they fix it. I have nothing but great things to say about the Powells and the cabins. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, its the place to be. The cabin is located near many of the area attractions. We had a great time and will visit again in the future.

Left on 12/23/2009 for a stay in July 2009
We took our family vacation (my sister, myself, and our 6 children ranging from 4-15) this past summer at Antler Ridge Getaway and it was the most incredible vacation spot we have stayed in while visiting the Blue Ridge area. We vacation here every year and plan on using this vacation rental every time. There are games for the kids, the basketball hoop was a big hit. We spent most of our time on the screened in upstairs deck. The view was awesome! We were hoping to see a bear. There had been one just before we arrived.

Freeport ILLovely, relaxing week!
Left on 12/02/2009 for a stay in August 2009
Our family of 6 really enjoyed our week at Antler Ridge - the house had plenty of room for all of us.
We had a bit of a bear problem (they got into the garbage), but Al and Sandy made sure it was taken care of ASAP, and the kids had a cool story to tell.
Mom and dad especially enjoyed the hot tub on the screened-in first floor porch. The kids loved the game console and the ping pong table. The kitchen had everything we needed.
We were close enough to town for shopping, and took the kids to the community park for swimming and basketball / tennis one day. We also went tubing down the river - that was a lot of fun!
There were neighbors pretty close by on the mountain, but we didn't really see or hear from them, other than a friendly wave as we'd pass on the road.
We highly recommend Antler Ridge if you're looking for an out-of-the-way place (that's not TOO far from civilization) to enjoy some fun with your family or friends.
