      Incredible View

Left on 06/02/2012 for a stay in May 2012

Cavender Overlook was an awesome cabin! The pictures online make the cabin look larger that it is but it is still very comfortable with eight adults. Make sure that you do all of your shopping before you go up to the cabin. It is an hour plus trip to and from the closest grocery store. The direct TV set up can be a little confusing if the remotes have been moved from room to room. Be sure to check out the activites clsoe to the cabin like Deep hole and the swinging Bridge.Overall we had a great time and would rent this property again

      Heaven!

Left on 11/27/2011 for a stay in November 2011

This "cabin" has it all, from the serenity and majesty of the mountains and forested setting, to the upscale amenities in each and every room. Perfectly clean and well stocked with all the kitchen and linen essentials, comfy beds, and spa like baths. This is not your traditional "little cabin in the woods"! We really enjoyed the game room in the lower level with the gorgeous copper ceilings and the 2-sided fireplace - we spent a lot of fun time in that great room. But our most favorite place was relaxing in front of a warm fire on the screened in porch overlooking the beautiful, ancient mountains of North Georgia's appalachian Mountains. The air was clean, the skies were wide open, the stars were brilliant. Our only complaint was that we had to leave to return home! We definitely plan to stay at this cabin again! Highly recommend!

      Amazing, relaxing

Left on 11/23/2011 for a stay in November 2011

One of the best locations if you love the outdoors! Only a 20 minute hike through Usfs land from the cabin to the Toccoa River. Numerous hikes and the most amazing outdoor living space. Loved every minute of our stay. The best thing was drinking coffee by the outdoor fireplace while the sun came up over the most spectacular view every morning.Too many flat screen tv's to count..even though we did not watch them that much. Just enjoyed this amazing cabin and the incredible decor! The overall feel of the cabin can not be put into words. I just know that our blood pressure dropped as soon as we pulled in.

      Awesome in every way!

Left on 11/23/2011 for a stay in November 2011

Everyone went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. Beautifully decorated and every amenity was top of the line. And the view was breath taking! You could see mountains for miles and miles. My favorite was the rec area. A fireplace built into the middle of the room with flatscreen TVs on both sides. A bar, pool table, fooz ball, and a pinball machine. We could have stayed there alone and been very happy! This cabin is a must if you want a quiet get-a-way with top of the line accommodations.
