Deer Pine Lodge has 3 levels of living, 2 bedrooms (1 bedroom is part of a huge loft which contains log queen bed & log bunk beds), 2 Bathrooms, Mountain Views, Indoor and Outdoor Gas Log Fire Place, Hot Tub, Gas Grill, and High Speed Internet, Game Room with Pool Table-Foosball-Air Hockey-Card Table-XBox & Game Cube Video Game System-Board Games-Puzzles & leather couch & leather chair, Satellite TV & DVD Player in bedrooms-living room-game room, Extensive DVD Movie Library, Local Reference Books on Hiking-Fishing-Birds-Bugs-Activities and the interior is also beautifully decorated with wood and rustic décor throughout . There is a Huge Wrap... Around Porch which houses the 6 person hot tub, a Picnic Table & Rocking Chairs. The lower level has a table with chairs and a swing chair. There is an upgraded queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Deer Pine Lodge is fully equipped and contains all linens, towels, hot tub towels, wash cloths, and dish towels. Deer Pine Lodge is just as warm as cozy for 2 people as it is for 8.

Deer Pine Lodge is also child-friendly by containing items that keep children busy by having fun such as the Pool table, Foosball, Air hockey, Xbox, Game Cube, Books, DVD Movies, Board Games, Puzzles, Electronic Dart Board, Card Table and a picnic table on the wrap around porch. Infant/Toddler-friendly items include: Pack & Play, Folding High Chair, Baby Monitor, Infant Bath Tub, Portable Potty Seat, Potty Seat that goes over the regular toilet seat, 2 Safety Gates, and electric plug outlet protectors.

There is an outdoor campfire pit and the firewood is provided during your stay.

Check In time is at 3:00 p.m. or after, Check Out time is no later than 10:00 a.m.

Minimum Night Stay:

7 night minimum stay during Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Week

6 night minimum stay during New Year's Eve

5 night minimum stay during June & July

4 night minimum stay during Mid-March to Mid-April (Spring Break), Easter Week, and first 2 weeks of August

4 night minimum stay during all of October.

3 night minimum stay during valentine's Day Weekend, Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday, Lincoln's Birthday, President's Day, Washington's Birthday, Labor Day, Mother's Day, Memorial Day Weekend, and any other weekend Holiday that I did not note.

Additional Location Information

Our cabins are 10 minutes from DownTown Blue Ridge, 9 miles from North Carolina and 2 miles from Tennessee. How convenient to visit three different states within 20 minutes!! Our cabins are not off of cliffs, and have easy access roads and close to stores (but still private and quiet).

  We were promised this cabin but when we got there we were reassigned cabin 155. The cabin we had seen online was empty during our stay. The cabin 155 had very firm mattresses and when we went to grill our steaks there was no propane in the tanks! So we went to the cabin we were promised and swapped out the tanks. On a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 4. Be sure you get the cabin you are renting!.

  Looking at your text message on my phone, you stated you wanted to reserve Holly Pine Lodge. Look at your "sent" text messages on your phone to me and you will see. That is the cabin noted on the rental agreement and the cabin you stayed in. HENCE, You DID NOT stay at the WRONG cabin. You stayed at the CORRECT Cabin!!!!!!!!
  
  As far as the mattress is concerned, it is a firm mattress. A mattress that ALL guests would be happy to sleep on, is hard to find.
  
  Our apologies about the two empty propane tanks. Had our cleaning person notified us of this, we would have taken care of it before your arrival.
  
  In looking at the other text messages I have from you ( I still have them on my phone)...you mentioned how you just arrived at the cabin, and didnt find a key for the hot tub (which we don't use anymore), and you also mentioned how you switched out propane tanks (because we have two tanks per cabin). No where in your texts did you mention how you went down to the other cabin to get another propane tank (only that you were using the second one).
