My last visit to my mountain was in the late 1990's. It was truly a trip back in time. The mountain is still so beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was so well maintained and peaceful. Moose track shack was well equipped, the view beautiful, the hot tub relaxing..it felt like I had never left the mountain.

From the moment we arrived after navigating the scary driveway the first time to the time we left, we truly felt that our time in the cabin was a great escape from our too-hectic lives. Even though it rained for a few of the days we were there, it didn't take away from our enjoyment of our vacation time because the amenities in the cabin kept us entertained. The theater was a big hit with everyone, especially our 16 year-old son who got that room as his bedroom. He and I loved the air hockey. My husband loved the view and the arcade games. My younger two children loved having TVs in their rooms. My husband and I loved the fact that we could cook meals together and not have to go out to eat. I could go on and on, but unfortunately, I have to get ready for work (you know, resuming my hectic life), but I wanted to leave a review because for all the joy our time there gave me, I thought it was the least I could do. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We will be back!

We rented the Timber Lodge, which was a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin in Morganton, Ga. There was nothing that we could have asked for - the cabin was well maintained, a well stocked kitchen (pots, pans, etc.) The cabin was fairly easy to get to (however, would not want to drive it in the snow or ice as not use to that type of weather). Give My Mountain Cabins Rental a try, you won't be disappointed.

We rented Top This for 8 days for a very much need vacation and I can say in one word how it was "awesome" eveyone is so nice would like to Thank Chris and his staff for getting us more fire wood . we really enjoyed the fire place as well as the hot tub ...we had been talking about maybe getting some land or something to retire there someday that just sealed the deal will be checking on things so we can own one of Our own...just have to be wise in the timing of things would really like to spend Christmas with the kids in a cabin so maybe not this year will have to see but I will be back for sure. Awesome place great people...:0)

Thank you! My Mountain Cabins Rental. We wanted to take a short, pet friendly vacation that was close to home, and your cabin delivered! I reserved the cabin online easily, and check-in was a breeze. The cabin was just lovely! Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully furnished. My husband, son and I enjoyed laughing around the bonfire, soaking in the huge hot tub, catching fish at the pond, hiking around the property and sleeping in the fabulous beds!! My husband and son even saw a family of deer! And of course, our Mika girl was right by our side enjoying every moment with us! Thank you again...we can't wait to come back :)

My friend and I went for a make-the-world-go-away weekend and we found the perfect spot. The cabin neat and clean and had everything you need to cook meals.
The country decor was feminine and welcoming. I really enjoyed the hot tub,but my friend spent hours staring at the fire in the fire pit. Blue Ridge is close--touristy, but excellent food and interesting shops. This would be excellent for a family or couple.
The stairs to the loft are steep and so people with small children, the elderly, or knee replacement folks might not find the loft appealing. But the loft was my favorite corner of the house.
Also, the trail to the creek is steep and slippery, but worth it. The My Mountain staff was very polite and helpful. The beds were quite comfortable, but the sofa, was not supportive enought for my aging back, so opted for the recliners and the deck chairs. The view is lovely. -

I have been to many European countries..being a former military I have traveled extensively!! I would to say that this vacation was best so far. It was for my daughter's 15th birthday!! My family will cherish the beautiful days.. the hiking..white water raffting..horse back riding and zip line and the snowy days the icing on the cake!! Our cabin was iut of a dream book.. the best!! .. Thank you so much for making our vacation the best. My parents came along with us and it was simply endless joy for my family. We have stayed in several different cabins, which we have loved, but this one by far is the best! We will return! Beautiful views of the mountain & view of the city lights at night was awesome! Kitchen was fully stocked w/ everything to prepare meals-they've thought of everything! Beautiful wrap around porch, with the back screened in & hot tub on the side! Kids loved the pool table! Plenty of room for the family!! The folks at My Mountain are wonderful!

8+ trips from Buffalo, NY to My Mountain,Ga and every time I return home I say to myself" I really needed that." And by that I mean the stay at the rental with long mountain views, relaxation, hot tub, jetted tub in bathroom, the long drive thru the Blue Ridge mountains, and the local people. The staff is easy going and professional. Rentals are clean as can be. Privacy is great!!! Thank You my Mountain!

Te service was outstanding. We stayed at timber ridge where the cabin had obviously been worked on very passionately for years. Every piece of decor had thought behind it. The view was spectacular, the mountain view was breath-taking every time. Very memorable experience for me, a oung college kid just starting to discover the beauty's of the world.

The home was simply beautiful and had everything you would need to BBQ or cook a great meal. My husband Nd I had a lot of fun with the foos ball and renewing old memories in front of the fireplace. Only negative was the bedding in the master bedroom. Sheets were piling and threadbare and top sheet was too small for two people to share. Otherwise, we had all the firewood we needed and a lot of privacy. Did not use the outdoor firepit but it would have been fun with a group.

We loved our stay! I dont think we have the first complaint about anything! I loved it there and would love to wake up in that cabin everyday. The cabin was so nice and cozy and not too mention how nice the hot tub was. I would go back anytime!!!

From the beginning this was a wonderful experience. The people at My Mountain Cabins were friendly, extremely helpful and efficient. They did indeed bend over backwards to make our stay as memorable as possible. The cabin was perfect. It was nestled in the mountains with the most amazing views. It was all that you would hope a mountain cabin would be. Very clean with all the amenities you could need. We loved the area, the truly special people, the experience of living in a mountain cabin so much, we decided to move to the beautiful mountains of north Georgia and are currently having a home built there!

I took my family to the Moose Recloose to "get-away" for a few days. The next time I reserve a cabin; we will stay longer / that is how happy we were with the experience. Aside from a few small maintenance issues; this was a great vacation for my family. The cabin was everything that we hoped it would be; and more. Very clean cabin with alot of extras. Very good value for the money!!

We stayed at My Mountain Escape.A great cabin with three stories where everyone could spread out. It is a beautifully designed cabin, with plenty of activities to keep each family member entertained. It had a loft with a bedroom, bath, a sitting area with a large tv,dvd player, ps2 game and fooseball game. Plenty of seating with two couches and a table for playing cards. On the main floor, they had another bedroom and large bath with a garden tub and separate shower. This floor has the den,kitchen,a small dining room with a bay window view. This floor also has a wrap around porch with hottub. In the basement, my guys called it the "man cave". It has a large big screen tv, suround sound stereo system, pool table, ps3,a refrigerator, two large couches,& a chair with otterman.

We could never express how incredibly awesome My Mountain Cabin Rentals are. The staff, the owner (Lisa and Debbie) at the front desk- are the best ever. Friendly, warm, honest!!! An perfect anniversary getaway. Rainy and misty weather made for a beautiful view in February. We were able to enjoy the screened in porch due to the mild temperature as well as the hot tub at night:) The cabin was beautifully furnished. It was called Chocolate Moose and I started counting every moose I saw from the napkin rings to the toilet paper holder: I lost count at 53:) We grilled out most every night and the kitchen was a great cook's kitchen. It was just the two of us but we're definitely coming back and bringing the kids next time when we can partake of all the activities Blue Ridge has to offer. It wasn't our first time renting from My Mountain and it certainly won't be our last!

This was our second year visiting what we consider our own private get away for our anniversary. We love the saclusion of the cabin. It's full stocked, you need to bring nothing but food if you choose to or there are resturaunts close by to visit for a nice dinner out. We perferred cooking a cozy breakfast in bed most mornings. We also enjoyed some of the short drives to other towns for a few rounds of golf. The laid back, no stress, quiet get away is just what every couple needs to reconnect and rejuvinate. We high recommend this cabin in Blue Ridge. Oh! do go check out Mercers. You'll be glad you did!

My second stay at Enchanted Cottage on My Mountain was every bit as wonderful as the first... the home is beautiful, secluded, and quiet. I actually read three books in less than 4 days, and we enjoyed the many cabin amenities including a wood buring fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, wi-fi, and a luxurious, clean hot tub.

We stayed at My Mountain 2 years ago and had the best vacation my wife and I ever had. This time we brought some friends and stayed in Dances With the Wolves. Of course when you build something up you really hope that everything is half as nice as we say it is. This cabin did not disappoint, the views, the comfort and the overall charm of the cabin were extremely nice. And our friends were just as happy as we were. I can't wait to come back and visit again. Home was well appointed. Well decorated. Comfortable. well stocked with anything you should need to prepare a meal excluding food! But even this was not a problem.
My only complaint/suggestion would be the stagnant odor of the hottub. Even after placing "shock" in the water at night, the odor was bad. Almost sewer-like... Not pleasant. The hottub was a huge part in the choosing of the cabin. Not sure how often hottub is drained, but obviously, not enough!!
All in all... a relaxing time! Definately will,and have used this rental company again! -

We have rented from My Mountain Cabin Rentals several times and are always pleased with the service and the cabin. This time we stayed in the Southern Comfort cabin for a week over Christmas. The cabin was very spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen was a good size for preparing meals and the dining table accommodated our whole family. The bedrooms were all very large with huge closets and allowed for privacy while still sleeping 8 people very comfortably. We will definitely be back to Blue Ridge and will again use My Mountain for our vacation rental.

My husband and I rented a cabin from My Mountain Cabin Rentals for the first time. We spent 5 nights over the 2013 New Year. We were looking to escape the business of work and city living and this cabin was perfect. The check in and out process was very simple and the price was just right. Our cabin, Timber Ridge, was decorated beautifully. It had everything that we needed to make our stay perfect. The mountain views were stunning. We lit a fire in the fire place, used the hot tub and grilled out with the charcoal grill that was provided. I would highly recommend My Mountain Cabin Rentals and Timber Ridge for the perfect getaway. Thanks for the hospitality!

Once again our stay was perfect.We stayed in the Enchanted Cottage. This year we took our dog and the closed in porch was perfect. We attended the apple Festival and shopped in downtown Blueridge. My family had the best time. Cant wait until next year, we never stay anywhere else. The staff at 1 My Mountain Cabin and all the cabins are wonderful and they treat you like family.

Our first stay at Chocolate Moose and we plan for it not to our last! Cozy, warm, inviting log cabin with all the amenities. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner there; we had all the necessary equipment. The cabin is decorated so well and the beds were so comfortable as well. We all enjoyed the large screened porch (including our two mini schnauzers) and the mountain view. We needed a getaway and Chocolate Moose proved to be just what the two of us needed! Close enough to shopping but private enough for peace and relaxation. Can't wait to visit Chocolate Moose again very soon.

Totally enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It was just the setting we were looking for. Beautiful mountain overlook with more than 180 degree view. Just wish we had gone earlier in the fall so we could have seen more of the changing leaves, but still fabulous. We definitly recommend. Customer service was great!

Loved Moose Recluse. Wonderful house with loads of room. Great entertainment for the kids and lovely views. Everything was as described and everything worked. Had a problem with TV and agent came right over and addressed it. We did it all despite a short weekend - hiking, hot tubbing, sitting by camp fire & roasting marshmellows.

We have stayed at several homes at My Mountain and have found all of them to be nice. All have had many amenities and have been just like being in our own home. All have been very clean with good furnishings and have not lacked items needed. Most are easy to get to have good views of the mountains. Our most favorite is "Top This" amd we keep returning there. If it should not be avalable we would not hesitate going to another one even if we were not famalier with it.

We've been coming to the Blue Ridge area for several years and always stayed with a different cabin rental service. After discovering My Mountain, we haven't stayed anywhere else. The service you receive is professional but warm and friendly. The area the cabins are located is a very well kept development.

Stayed at Bear Creek Lodge 10/21/12 to 10/26/12 - we loved the cabin. We had everything we needed. It was so relaxing just sitting on the back porch. Wild turkeys came up to 15 feet away from our front door - it was fun to watch them.

I rented a cabin for 4 nights. My two small dogs came with me. (The photo is not the cabin I rented). The communication and check-in with the property management was a+. Everything was processed smoothly, and any questions were answered quickly. I had no problems with the cabin while I was there. It was a lovely cabin, perfect for a couple or small family. The only reason I didn't give this review 5 stars was because the cabin TV was old, and they actually had a monitor upstairs rigged as a second TV. They both worked OK though. I would definitely recommend the rental company!!! Everything was as advertised, the cabin was very clean and well maintained.

My husband and our two small children spent four nights in Bison's View cabin. The cabin is large and well stocked with kitchenware, towels, etc. The view is gorgeous and we loved relaxing on the porches and by the fireplace. We had a couple issues with the hot tub and washing machine not working. The staff were very proactive in resolving the problems. The only negative was the cleanliness. It was pretty dusty and there were lots of cobwebs inside and on the outdoor furniture. Needed a thorough cleaning. Even so, we had a great time and loved the beautiful scenery. We hope to make this an annual family getaway in the fall and will definitely rent from My Mountain again.

We fell in love with the Blue Ridge, Cherry Log and Ellijay areas. We found the areas in 2006 when we escaped from all the hurricanes, that hit the state of Florida. Our girls loved exploring the apples farms. We stayed with the same cabin company in 2005 and 2006. This year we finally were able to afford to visit again. When I began my search, I found My Mountains Cabins. We were able to stay 4 nights, because of 1 night free. We also were blessed with an early check in special. All our needs were met and Chocolate Moose was beautiful, both inside and out. We will be back and will book with this cabin company.

We decided to get away at the last minute for long weekend after a busy harvest season. Didn't even know exactly where we wanted to go except to the north Georgia mountains. Tried to contact a few by owners but didn't recieve any responses. After finding My Mountain Cabin Rentals online, dicided to give them a try. The rep I spoke with on the phone was wonderful. I told her how much wanted to spend, that we were bringing our dog, and how many room we would need, she suggested a few options on rentals. My husband and I chose which sounded best for our family and gave our info for the reservation. It went quickly and effeciently. The rep emailed me all of the info we would need and we continued on our way. After the phone conversation I looked up our rental on the website and while it was nice, I found one I like better. I called the rep back and she was glad to switch us to the other rental and sent me the new information. We were to arive after the office closed but, after using our gps and the directions we were given by the rep we found everything easily.
The cabin was beautiful. Three levels with a bedroom on the bottom and in the top loft level. Everything was clean and plenty of towels and other necessities were provided. We loved sitting on the screened porch and relaxing with the gas fireplace lit. We even at dinner out there one evening. The kids loved the levels and so did the dog. The jucuzzi was heaven to relax in after sightseeing and playing pool on the pool table on the bottom level. The only thing I would change it that it needed some sort of grass area for the dog to do her business, it through her off to go on the gravel only. But I understand that extra space it hard to come by on the side of a mountain. The cabin was a short drive outside the city of Blue Ridge. There is a great grocery store there, Ingles, that I would definitly recommend. We will for sure be using the My Mountain Rental company again, great rates and cabins!! -

We returned to this cabin after several years -- we've stayed in other cabins at My Mountain with various results -- and were sad to see how the place had been neglected. Trees needed serious cutting back (amazing view is obscured), many lights were out, and there was an overall sense of neglect. I can only say this because we had stayed there previously and loved it. If we had gone in cold, I'm sure I would be less disappointed. A solid place, overall, just needs a bit more TLC to keep it at its best.

We are so happy we chose the Red Rocker for our stay. It was so nice and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed. The view and porch were my favorite things. I'd love to come back for fall color. We slept well in the nice bedrooms and enjoyed the hot tub. It was just a short ride to Blue Ridge. It was very clean and everything worked. Booking was easy and nearby. The staff friendly and helpful. We loved the area. Best restaurant went to Pete's. Good food, reasonably priced. We would love to stay here again in the future.

This cabin's hosts are top notch. Every possible comfort and question has been considered and addressed. As a mother of a 2 and 4 year old, I thoroughly appreciated the toys/games/playing area for the children and they had a ball sleeping in the bunks. Meanwhile my mother and I enjoyed the serenity of the large private rooms with beautiful porches and views. Couldn't have been better.

Great View, very nice cabin and totally stocked with everything you need except your food. It is nice to just be able to walk in and have what you need. We will be back to visit again!!! Dances With Wolves Cabin is a wonderful retreat from the stresses of everyday life and is perfectly situated to give satisfaction to all ages (our group ranged from 12yr, on up to 65+ years). There is something for everyone - the views were awesome, facilities beyond compare. From the hot-tub, to the games room; from the sleeping arrangments to overall decor - everything was perfect. The Office staff were friendly, very competent and extremely helpful. All of us agreed that we can hardly wait until our next stay. My grandson wants to come to this cabin every year from now on!!

Antler's Ridge was beautiful. The home was in perfect condition, had so many beautiful touches and amenities, we couldn't have asked for more. I hope in the months to come the road will be paved versus gravel. The office staff is always so informative and helpful whenever we call with questions.
The only thing I would change - believe it or not - is making the main floor deck (off the living room) not accessible from the outside. Just a safety/security thought - -

What a wonderful vacation. It was too short. Therefore, we have already booked this same cabin for another week. Hopefully, my husband and I can get off work, if not, we will have to change the week. Anyways, it was best cabin ever. My husband, my daughter age 12 and myself as well as our two dogs absolutely loved it. I am a long distance runner and enjoyed running the hills. I would like a treadmill, but the treadmill was broken. However, the hot tub felt good, due to my sore muscles. My daughter as well as myself, love to go the movies. When I saw the theater room, I simply jumped up and down. I ended up watching 7 movies in 3 days. The cabin is close to town and the grocery store. We loved taking my dogs on walks and getting away from the stress filled world. I met a few people in the neighborhood who were very pleasant. The family who owns this cabin thought of everything...down to the last detail. Also, the cabin was decorated beautifully. Nobody could want anything more than this cabin can offer, except a treadmill. The satellite tv and the Wifi went out on us, but the management company was available to help us with this. The dryer was supposedly not working and the management team sent out an expert to fix that. All in all, the cabin was terrific!!! I would highly recommend this cabin. The scenery was outstanding.

Hello Everyone
We're Repeat Guests to My Mountain Cabin Rentals. We typically stay in the Timber Ridge Cottage, but Instead stayed in the Wilderness Lodge Cottage for a Long, 10 day stay. The Office staff were Very accomodating allowing us to leave our Enclosed Trailer at the Office. We unhooked and made our way to the Cabin. We Don't Recommend arriving Late (we were Delayed due to an accident on the Interstate that added Hours to our trip) as it is Quite Difficult to find this Cabin in the Dark if you've never been to it before! Once you find the Turnoff, you drive on this Narrow Roadway. You'll see a Cottage, Evergreen on your right. From Evergreen, it's a Straight Shot Up a Vertical Climb to this Cabin. Probaby Fine if you have a Small Car, but having an Oversized Vehicle Doesn't make for an Enjoyable Experience to access this particular Cabin! Once indoors, we found the cabin to be Nice. It feels Cozy and Inviting, which Isn't always the Case with a Larger Size Cabin. The Bedrooms are Very Nice as are the Furnishings. The Bed in the Loft is Quite Comfortable and the Design of the Cabin is Well thought out. This is a Three Level Cabin and has a Lot of Stairs! We travel with our dogs who are Quite Small, so this meant having to Carry them Up and Down Flights of Stairs Muliple times daily. A larger dog would do better with Lots of Steps! The Bottom Floor has a Porch Swing. Bushes in front of the swing prevented having a view of anything except for the bushes themselves-Hopefully these are Cut Down to the Ground to Expose the Nice View!
The Staff at My Mountain are The Most accomodating Folks You Will Ever Come across!They go Way above and Beyond in Every Level of the Exceptional Customer Service they provide! We Just Can't Say Enough about the Positive Experience we have~the True Pleasuring of Interacting with Chris, Buffy and Tracy! My Mountain is a Magical Place Indeed and the Staff here will have you coming back again and again! -

My Mt. is incredible to work with...no complaints there.
My issue was with the size of this cabin (sleeps 10) and the amount of cookware and space to store food items. When you are staying a week and cooking for a ton of people, you expect a good stocked kitchem with cooking supplies, pot/pans, storage bowls etc. This was not the case. We ate in every meal, every day except twice and it was a pain to find items to cook in.
Also, the owners have taken up more than 1/2 of the cabinet spaces for their items so we had to live out of boxes with the food...or have it all over the counters which I cldn't stand. It was a pain to have to rifle through 3 boxes which held all our food to get a meal together. It wld have been nice to have a pantry or atleast a cabinet to put the items.
Other than those two pretty big issues (for me being the main cook)everything else was wonderful! The cabin could not have been nicer. The layout was great and the kids had a blast. We had a lot of fun walking the road to the end and seeing deer along the way.
Beautiful place to stay...just bring extra cooking utensils if you are planning on cooking a lot. -

I cannot say enough about this cabin! It was huge!!! We had 10 in our party and we were very comfortable. The owners did a fabulous job of equipping the cabin with every game imaginable. The hot tub was so great at the end of a long day. The cabin was absolutely clean. It was a great value, too...less than a hotel and so much better. It is very secluded. There isn't much of a view during the summer because everything is green, but we enjoyed the privacy so that was fine for us!!

Our initial reason for the trip was to take the ashes of my cousin to rest with her mom at the local cemetary. When looking for lodging I was so discouraged by the lack of hotels/motels but I am so happy to have come up the website for My Mountain Cabins Rental! We could stay at a cabin, have lots of space inside and outside and the surroundings were so peaceful. We have family in the area and they were able to come and visit and there was room inside and outside for them to hang out. It turned out to be just an enjoyable trip all the way around even though it was a sad event tht took us there initially. The cabin was beautifully decorated, the amenities were wonderful but it was the space inside and outside that was the most enjoyable. Quiet and calming.

We've stayed at several of the cabins that My Mountain Cabins rents over the past several years. The staff is incredibly accommodating and always listens to our concerns, if we have any. The cabins are always very clean and typically exactly how they are advertised on line. The last cabin we stayed in, Evergreen, was our favorite. A beautiful view to the south, well equipped kitchen and very comfortable rooms. The screened in porch made it easy for us to have our dog with us.

As usual our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. Had a few issues with some chigger bites but other than that a great time was had by all. We enjoyed the amenities the cabin offered and it was pretty well stocked. Might want to include a few more dishes if the cabin is to sleep 10 as we ran out after every meal and had to either wash dishes or run the dishwasher a lot. We really loved being out on the back porch but the outdoor furniture was not very comfortable. Really enjoyed downtown Blue Ridge, white water rafting, and tubing. The hiking in the area was great too. All in all one of the best vacation values around. We are always very impressed with the My Mountain staff and the service we receive. The beauty inside and outside the cabin were things we liked the best plus the ease of making the reservations and dealing w/ My Mountain. Our least favorite thing had to be the chigger bites -- we think they came from the wooden outdoor furniture- just a guess.

The cabin was very well appointed, down to the linens/towels and kitchen appliances. Very, very clean, nice hot tub, very nice deck, easy access, ample parking and private. We will be going again.

Me, my husband and two boys have stayed at My Mountain Cabins for five or six years. We love the cabins, the mountains and every thing about coming here. We also like that we can bring our dog. He enjoys going for walks up and down the road and sitting with us on the screened porch. The cabin usually has everything that you need to cook with and all you have to do is buy your food. The cabins are all decorated so nice. We love the bear and moose themes. What else can I say except that we love coming here for vacation.

We only stayed at Moose Tracks for 3 nights but we had a wonderful time. Checkin was quick and informative. We saw 2 deer as we traveled down Old Loving Road. Our cabin exceeded expectations as it was very spacious,had all the amenities of home and was close to town. The only downside were the trees growing in front of the main porch limiting our view. We will definitely be back.

We have stayed with this company for about 10 years. I am glad to say that we have not had any issues before.
This was our first time at Bison's View and if I did return to this company, I can safely say I won't return to this same cabin.
I did call into the office shortly after returning home when I found out the other couple that had gone with us also had about 25 bites on their lower body. I spoke with Chris and he did seem concerned and that he would check it out. Hey Patrick, I am sorry for your bad experience you encountered in June. After our telephone conversation, I had the pest control company check the cabin you stayed in and they found no evidence of flea's or other biting bugs. Nor had we had any comments about bug bites from subsequent guests in the same cabin so both the pest control company and I suspect you and your friends experienced chigger bites. They are very prevalent in the spring/summer in our area if you are near the woods or weed grass, black berry bushes etc. Should you like to give us another try, please ask for me before reserving a cabin. We ride our motorcycles to this location, the gravel driveway is easy access, no sharp turns while on the gravel. A few friends and I stayed in the "Antler's Ridge" cabin at the end of May. Once we found My Mountain, we found travel to and from Blue Ridge easy to navigate. The 3-story cabin was roomy, clean, and welcoming. We spent most of our time in the hot tub overlooking the mountains. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, so cooking meals was enjoyable. The property sits on top of a mountain with many windy roads, so if you get car sick easily plan to limit your travels to and from the cabin. We spent most of our time at the cabin, so leaving wasn't a big issue. Though My Mountain sits no more than 5-10 miles from Lake Blue Ridge, the drive took longer because of the mountain roads. Overall, we enjoyed our cabin and would return in the future. The staff were friendly, though I wish I would have received more information before my trip to help plan the week. Most of that info is on their website, but it would have been nice to receive a planning kit in the mail as an added bonus to their hospitality.

There are several companies that rent cabins in Blue Ridge. And there are great cabins available at all of them. But the big difference is the service you get from the management company, especially when something goes wrong. We've used My Mountain several times, and just recently we ran into a problem with the gas grill at the cabin. They made things right, and we had a brand new grill the next morning. I think they handled things very well, and I would strongly recommend them to anyone considering a cabin rental in Blue Ridge.

This is not our first stay at Enchanted Cottage. Over the years we have visited multiple times. The cottage was not available for a few years, so when it was available for rental again, we wanted to return. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed this time. Although this is an uncontrollable thing, the view had changed significantly. The trees blocked any view except from the small porch on the second floor off the master suite. One of the best things about this cabin was the view. The kitchen was OK, but it wasn't well supplied with the little things: no coffee filters (a bummer first thing in the morning!), plastic wrap, and so on. Some of the equipment wasn't up to par, either. It rained our entire stay so we spent a lot of time indoors. The satellite TVs weren't working well which was frustrating. Because we want a view when we go to the mountains in Blue Ridge, we won't be going back to Enchanted Cottage and we can't recommend it to others.

I couldn't say enough good things about our stay. The house was so clean and neat and beautiful. We loved the fact you could bring your dog too. This was our second stay in the same house! We are both firefighters, so we also got a 10% discount, which was so nice for them to honor the civil servant professions. All in all, we will recommend this to all our friends and relatives (and already have!) We ended up buying a house up there, so now we won't need to rent a cabin! It's our dream part of the world. We have been coming up for seven years and have always enjoyed the cabins and the friendly staff. If there were ever any problems they always took care of it. The cabins are indeed beautiful. The only thing I do ask if there is a view that they keep accurate pictures up. If it is wooded they need to post it as wooded. I don't want to give any bad reviews as we have always been so happy here. When we come up to My Mountain we always want to stay at a cabin with full views of the mountain ranges. I want to let them know we have always been treated great, just check thru and repost more updated pics of the views.

We stayed for a week in May and the Enchanted Cottage cabin and it was fantastic. This is a very modern cabin with large jacuuzzi, all bedrooms en-suite, huge kitchen, lounge and games room. Also free wifi and Netflix movies with large flat screen tv's in the two lounges and bedrooms. Pool table and video games on ground floor. The cabin is not overlooked by others so is very private being at the very end of the road. You could not ask for more from a vacation venue.
This is the 4th time we have stayed with My Mountain Rentals and after using many companies in this area in the past they are by far the best and we will be using them for many years more. The staff are very helpful and friendly and prices reasonable.

Just got back from the most relaxing stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains ever! This little cabin is perfect for 2 people and dogs if you have any. There is a front porch that's screened in, this is where I read every morning. You also have a back patio with a hot tub overlooking the beautiful mountains. There was a nice size fenced in yard for you four legged friend. The cabin is secluded enough that all you hear are the birds chirping, but accessible enough that the drive doesn't terrify you. I would highly recommend this cabin to couples who are trying to get away from their busy everyday lives, to reconnect with nature, and with each other. The staff was there to assist when needed, but left you alone to relax otherwise. Thanks for an awesome vacation and a much needed mental break! We will be back next year.

The peaceful mountain view from the wrap-around porch was serene, restful and scenic. You could enjoy it either from inside or on the rocking chairs on the screened-porch. It was not within walking distance of any hiking trails that we could find but we drove to a nice waterfall with an easy hike listed in the information notebook. The sleeping porch directly off the master bedroom was also quite enjoyable.
We enjoyed our stay and the check-in/out process was a breeze. All expected amenities were available and the cabin was easily located.
The only negative was the kitschy, over-done wolves-themed "decorating" which included disconcerting dead animals, skins, etc. non-stop throughout the house. Not recommended for sensitive animal-lovers or tasteful interior designers. -

We stayed in two of the many cabins offered by My Mountain Cabin Rentals. (Enchanted Cottage and Bearadise) Both cabins exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated cabins with all the amenities of home. In fact my wife said we all over packed. We spent most of our time at the cabins so did not spend much time checking out the local activities. We did spend a few hours in down town Blue Ridge (loved going in the shops and looking around). Wish we had taken the scenic train ride. One stop shopping at Ingles for all your grocery needs. Also took a drive over to Murphy NC. Dinner at Murphy's Chophouse was recommended and was well worth the drive. We had a very relaxing time. We are already planning our next trip down. Bringing the Motorcycles next time... Though the cabin was beautiful, I thought the amenities could have been better. Thought we would just have to bring the food and we would be set. Went to open a bottle of wine, no wine opener, went to slice some cheese, no cheese slice or grater to do so. Only one frying pan in the cabin but we made due. Not much storage space in the kitchen due to pantry and a couple others having lock and labeled owners closet. The master bed was not the most comfortable. I will say that the cabin is beautiful, great views, and the boys had a great time in the game room. We would stay again.

The view is amazing and sitting in the sun room with the windows open feels like you are sitting outside. I highly recommend this cabin for relaxation and peace.

We were very disappointed to learn 3 days before we were to check in that the cabin we wanted to stay at had been struck by lightening. It would've been impossible for us to reschedule so we took the alternate cabin that we had been offered. The cabin was clean and we had a great vacation, but we had been looking forward to staying in The Great Escape since the last time we visited in 2010. Dances with wolves was a very nice cabin and we had a great time grilling on the deck and soaking in the hot tub. The pool table was missing some of the balls though. The area was wonderful and since we didn't have all the amenities of our original cabin, we did get out and about Blue Ridge while we were there. I would recommend the Scenic Railway, the local waterfalls, Mercier Orchards and definitely the drive in theater to those who are thinking about visiting the area. We will definitely be back in the future.

We stayed at the Enchanted Cottage for a week and had a wonderful stay! The basement game room and bedroom with the bunk beds were perfect for the kids. They were entertained downstairs while the adults enjoyed the large, screened-in deck. The cabin is beautifully decorated and very clean. We had an amazing stay and hope to go back soon!

Beautiful and comfortable cabin with a spectacular view. The cabin is extremely well equipped and has a wonderful wrap around screened porch where we spent many hours just chilling. The roads close to the cabin are wonderful for taking a nice quiet walk. We often saw deer on our morning walks. I would recommend a DVD player on the main floor so the family could take in a movie together. Close enough to town for groceries, shopping and entertainment but far enough away to really get away from it all.

My husband and I have stayed with My Mountain Cabins at least a half-dozen times! We talk about going to other places, but always seem to gravitate back to My Mountain. We have stayed in several different cabins, and all of them are extremely nice. Two of our top criteria are a good quality bed and a hot tub, and each time we have been pleased. The amenities are excellent, and the views are wonderful! Our main goal is relaxation, but there are many activities in the area to enjoy as well. On our last visit I enjoyed hiking with my grandchildren on a beautiful sunny afternoon. The staff with My Mountain Cabins is always very helpful and easy to deal with. I highly recommend staying with My Mountain Cabins, and am already planning my next visit!

cabin was clean. people were very friendly. We rocked on the porch early in the morning and relaxed in the jacuzzi under the stars.It was quiet and charming. We played golf, went horse back riding and hiked to a waterfall. There we walked out in the middle of the waterfall and took pictures. we cooked on the grill and played pool. This was the best spring break i have had in a long time. I am looking forward to going again.if you are thinking about going , Just go and have fun!Oh did i mention we got 3 days for the price of two!

We recently stayed at Evergreen and oh my goodness, what a beautiful cabin. We were very secluded because no one was staying in the cabin at the end of the road. Beautiful view and the weather was amazing. Although we had trouble with No Phone Service, therefore, the Wi-Fi was not working, the management company did everything they could to help, but at the end of the day, that stuff didn't matter. We were not there to work on the computer or even talk on the phone. The only bad thing that happened because of no Wi-Fi service, I was unable to schedule a couples massage which was a surprise Christmas present.
The King Bed was so comfortable. Having a fire every night was incredible. Waking up in the mornings, sitting and talking over a cup of coffee, on no time line, just started the day off just right. There were plenty of things to do close by.
We will be back to stay and hopefully it will be for a longer period of time. The cabins are beautiful and the management team is really great to work with. -

My wife & I have rented mountain homes from My Mountain Cabin Rentals 12 times over the past 6 years. We enjoyed the discount offered on a full week rental,which was more generous than prior.
The staff was as accomodating as ever,making a "house call" to relight the pilot light in the gas fireplace & providing telephone support to walk us through how to take the hot tub out of hibernate mode & make it operational.
Our problem, however, was related to the TV in the master bedroom suite. It didn't pick up any satellite signal - only snow. The office checked & told us that they had a problem with the main sat. receiver downstairs & the bedroom box was moved downstairs. This happened months before we booked our vacation. The bedroom TV didn't work & would not in the future, as the sat. box needed for this system was no longer available. They offered us a 12" TV/DVD combo (no TV signal, only play Dvd's). It didn't help us very much, so we declined.
I said them that this property on their website stated that there was a TV in the master bedroom (photo showed a TV).
I said it was misrepresentation. They said they'd correct the property decription to delete the listing of the TV in the master bedroom, which would help future renters, but didn't help me.
I said I wouldn't had rented this property if I knew there was only 1 TV. They told us they'd "make everything right" with us for the missing TV, but they never did.
Our experiences with My Mountain Cabin Rentals had always been stellar prior to this unfortunate incident. Although they may not have been responsible for the missing satellinte box and inoperational TV, they were aware of it and didn't address it via the property description on their website. Further, they never "made everything right" as they promised.
We'll likely rent again from them, but only after confirming directly with a live person that the proprty amenities are as stated on the website. -

The view was fantastic. We always look for a good view and an enclosed deck and this had both. Open concept floor plan was great. Wood burning fireplace in living room and gas fireplace in master bedroom - used both and loved them. Plenty of firewood available. Decor was what you would expect in a cabin called "Dances With Wolves". Authentic and beautiful. Service was great - had a minor issue with something that broke and it was replaced immediately. Would definitely stay again.

This home was absolutely perfect for us to ring in the New Year. We checked in on Friday afternoon, 12/30 and checked out on 1/2 and had a wonderful weekend. There were 4 adults and the accomodations were perfect. The check in was easy and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a beautiful weekend in a beautiful cabin and I would highly recommend it to anyone. We'll definitely be going back. There are too many things to list what we liked the best. The only thing that I found a little difficult to handle was the gas grill - the insides were a little old and dirty and it was hard to grill on it, but other than that, everything was perfect !!

The service is always great and easy to work with.
The cabin looked alot bigger in the pictures. It was nice, and clean. The fire pit outside was great we spent a lot of time out there even when really cold out. Looked very new I hope they add better seating. Inside, TV were great. The living room with the fireplace was small for 2 families but couches etc. we're comfortable. Kids loved the Theater room, would rec to guests to bring movies. Selection was dated. Playroom downstairs was nice. Pinball machines weren't working properly. Hot tub was clean and nice.
Sleeping arrangements were ok. Master was very nice and comfortable, bedding for pull- out in the loft was awful. No pillow cases and both blankets were soiled and looked old and un clean. I personally slept there and put a child in bed with my husband because of it. The downstairs bedrooms were fine and bathrooms were fine. No complaints from others.
The kitchen could use some up-dating. We like to cook- in for fun while away and the Pans, dishes etc. were old mismatched with out lids etc. I understand and respect if the owners do not drink alcohol or cook much, But guests on vacation probably will, there were no wine glasses or anything close to it. Maybe after cabin is booked describing this might be helpful. I would have gladly brought my own things.
We felt very lucky and were very happy do to the last minute availability of the cabin. But given a choice the last cabin we stayed in was much better all around. -

This was my very first time going to Blue Ridge Mountains, or any mountains for that matter. I loved the experience. When I first got to the cabin I wasn't too sure of what to expect. Then when I saw how nice and Beautiful the cabin was, all my doubts were washed away. I did enjoy the experience with my girlfriend. We were able to enjoy all North Georgia had to offer. It was so wonderful there! The hot tub was by far the best. It was so nice to relax in it after a long day of sight seeing. I will definitely be back and stay at a My Mountain Cabin Rental.

The View was great ,the neighborhood is awesome .The hot tub with a view .Having a long drive way and not being next to the road is nice .The original cabin was great but the crazy additions do not feel cabiney and confusing .The main level bath sink was clogged ,the basement ceiling leaked toilet water from the main level onto the basement ceiling tile than onto the floor in basement bath .I will be back to rent a cabin but I will look into another cabin . I have rented @ My Mountain since 1998 , the issues listed above are my only complaints in all that time .

The cabin is absolutely beautiful. It is very warm, cozy and a perfect place to celebrate the Christmas holidays. We enjoyed all of the amenities - the firepit on a very chilly evening, the jacuzzi and of course, the fireplace. Cabin is pet-friendly and our dog loved lying on the porch looking out at the awesome view. Our son, a fitness guru, enjoyed running up and down the mountain in order to get in his daily exercise. Conveniently located to grocery store,beautiful downtown Blue Ridge,Merciers Orchards and many other outdoor activities. Highly recommend the Serenity Spa! We visit Blue Ridge several times a year and will definitely stay at Bearadise on a future visit. Love it!

We first came to My Mountain in 2007. It was such a wonderful experience, we have been back every year since. We got snowed in last year, so that was an experience in itself. This year, I think, was the best ever for two reasons...the first was that I was told on april 6th,12th and 16th that my husband would not live through the day, but God performs miracles and he is very much alive and well and second we stayed at Bearadise Lodge and it was great!!! We hope to return to Bearadise next year!!! We visited Mercier apple Orchard, shopped in Blue Ridge and drove to NC to the Biltmore. Hated to come home!!! Chris and Buffie are the greatest!!! We recommend My Mountain to everyone!!!

We stayed at Sunrise House the week of Thanksgiving. This was our 3rd time staying there and loved it as usual. The home is beautifully designed with a nice hot tub and lots of games to keep us busy on cold rainy days.
We enjoyed the christmas parade and downtown Blue Ridge antique shopping that week also. I loved the view of the mountains from our bedroom french doors. Only complaint I have is that the pillow shams and bedspread on our bed did not have a freshly cleaned scent, so threw them into the washer and dryer the first day. Otherwise, we enjoyed our time there very much and look forward to returning again. -

From providing directions by phone when we began getting close to the office to the check out, my experience with My Mountain Cabins Rental was very enjoyable. I found the service and everything provided with the rental was very customer friendly. The cabin was very well supplied and amenities were better than I've ever seen. The overall design and layout of the cabin along with the furniture were wonderful. The wrap around porch with back porch screened were such an inviting experience. The wonderful rocking chairs and the hot tub provided such peaceful chances to unwind and just enjoy the mountain experience. The down the earth surroundings but yet the high end electronics with surround sound along with the pool table and video game table were a well rounded experience. I highly suggest this cabin that is suited to fit up to 12 or more people. It is big enough for a large group but also enjoyable for two. I found the cabin pet friendly and well equipped for all our needs.

The service we received was pleasant and very helpful. The cabin was clean,cozy & had a perfect view. The location was also perfect not to high up in the mountains. The thing I liked best was the peacefulness.
The only thing I can suggest to have done is dusting inside of the cabin in the higher ceiling area, there were spider webs and dust that needed to be cleaned, and the larger bedroom mattress was not comfortable.But over all it was great and I would reserve it again. Perfect get-away.

The people at My Mountain are very helpful, friendly and will do anything to help, which today is very refreshing. The cabin we stayed in was great, location beautiful and we felt at home the minute we stepped into the cabin. I always try to return each year and never have we been disappointed.

We visited My Mountain at the beginning of October with our two dogs. Loved that the property was pet friendly! The cabin itself had all of the necessary amenities for a great stay, they even included firewood for the fireplace (love those little included extras!) The location was convenient to Blue Ridge and within an hours drive to Helen and Cherokee and Franklin, North Carolina. We had a blast during our four night stay here and cannot wait to come back to visit again!!!

Dances with Wolves was a lovely cabin- spacious, clean, and comfortable! The view was breath-taking and the master bedroom's private balcony with swing was especially relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitly stay there again. I have only two requests for next time- the only thing lacking was a gas grill, which would make outdoor dinners faster and easier; and only one person could shower at a time because if more than one faucet was turned on, the hot water disappeared and the person showering experienced a burst of freezing cold water.

we stayed in the moose recloose cabin. we really like the location and the scenery from the cabin. The only concern we had was there was no curtains on the master bedroom windows other than that we really enjoy our stay. the kids enjoyed the game-room and the huge area behind the cabin. We come up here every year for the apples at Mericer's

As usual, our stays with My Mountain Cabin Rentals is a+++. Always clean and well furnished with amenities. Management Company is a pleasure to deal with. Paddock Heights was definitely our favorite so far. Good location...close to surrounding mountain cities.

We came to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a taste of fall. It was perfect. The cabin had everything we needed. I would definitely rent from My Mountain Cabin Rentals again!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Toby's Place this past October. With the colors of fall surrounding us and a crispness in the air, our stay was truly enjoyable.
Toby's Place is very well appointed. The owners have made every attempt to make your stay enjoyable, even down to the bathrobes hanging in the closet. Their warmth felt good after we climbed out of the hot tub on chilly evenings.
I even enjoyed helping out a possum who had unfortunately crawled into one of the plastic garbage cans in the outside enclosure. The sides of the can were too smooth for him to crawl out. I removed the can and turned it over so he could leave. He waddled out, paused for a moment, looking at me with his big sad eyes, as if to say "Thanks Mister", before he scampered off into the woods. -

After a couple of family trips to the beach, everyone agreed on a fall trip to the N Ga mountains for a change. Needing a place for us, our single kids, married kids and grandchildren coming in from TN, SC, Athens and metro atlanta, I searched a lot of websites looking for the right location size and amenities. Bison's View suited us well - though we were looking for 4 Br's, the 3 Br's and loft worked for us. Outside there were several outdoor games and room for everyone to park - inside there was plenty of room for our crowd to all sit together to eat before gathering around the fireplace, heading down to the game room or outside to the firepit to roast marshmallows. We visited the fair that was in town one night and spent days at local businesses, playing disc golf, riding the train to McKaysville/Copperhill and riding horses at Blanche Manor to enjoy the changing color in the mountains and the first cool air of the year. When I couldn't be talked in to trying to buy Bison's View, everyone told me to get it booked for next fall. The only disappointment was for my grandson who wanted to see a black bear but we did see squirrels and rabbits.

This was our first time using this rental company and thought we would give them a try. We had a wonderful cabin for a quick fall getaway. I just wished we lived closer to be able to take more weekend getaway trips! But overall the cabin was comfortable and clean to make this an enjoyable trip! We will be back again in the summer using this rental company.
