Fort Lauderdale, FLPerfect cabin getaway
Left on 12/20/2011 for a stay in November 2011
My family and friends had a great time at the Happy Trails cabin. Great views and plenty to do for both the adults and kids to keep everyone as occupied as they want to be. The views and comforts also allowed us to be as unoccupied as we wanted to be while the kids were playing games or outside. The hottub, great decks, and pool table got the most use among the adults, while the kids loved the wagon tent bed and shuffle boardgame. I personally appreciated the way the luxury was still rustic and made us feel like we were truly in an older mountain time, while enjoying greater comfort than at home. We are already planning our return trip!

TampaNever want to leave-Pure relaxation!!!

I loved the fact that you can sit out back on the deck and see 3 different mountain ranges! You have pool, shuffle board, and games to keep a family entertained here. It feels very cozy inside the cabin. I love sitting around the fire pit and enjoying the great outdoors. Serenity Spa is very close and a great way to relax with a pedicure or massage. The town has some great places to eat( Sue's Best Burgers ) cheap and good. There is a bowling alley close and very affordable for everyone. I love going to the town of Blue Ridge to window shop and get a bite to eat...It is a great town but make sure to call ahead to see what there schedule is like it changes with the seasons. Can't wait till I can get back to Happy Trails I was sad to leave! Thank you

Tampa, FLTop Notch
Left on 12/04/2011 for a stay in January 2010
We have been to "Happy Trails" a couple times now and our experiences have always been pleasant, relaxing and enjoyable. The accommodations are top notch! The cabin is well kept and very clean. There are three bedrooms and each are warm and cozy and the beds are very comfortable. Each bedroom also has access to the backside porch that has the most beautiful view of the mountains. The living spaces are also enjoyable with the amenities like the pool table and jacuzzi. The cabin comes with everything you could need to enjoy your trip to the mountains. There is a fire pit to roast marshmallows and a grill for dinners spent in. The kitchen is equipped with anything you need and the bathrooms have plenty of towels. The washer and dryer are also a great plus for long stays! There are enough tings to keep you entertained inside the cabin as there are in the local area. When we ventured away from the cabin we found plenty to do with in a short car ride. We visited an apple orchard, took a train ride to a near by city, and walked around downtown Blue Ridge. There is also a grocery store and restarunts near by which is really convenient. This is a great place to spend relaxing with friends and family. We have visited in the summer and winter and both times of the year were great!
