Located less than 90 minutes from Atlanta, Georgia, this cabin rental has great year round mountain views and many unique features such as numerous outdoor covered sitting areas, including a covered porch outside each of the three main bedrooms.

Tuckaway Ridge is located less than four miles from downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia. Blue Ridge is a quaint little town that is definitely gaining an "upscale" reputation and has often been compared to what Highlands, North Carolina was many years ago. The downtown area is very charming with numerous antique stores, specialty stores, restaurants, fudge shops and more. Many of the older buildings have been restored to their original state from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.

There is also the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway (which travels along the Toccoa River), Whitewater River Rafting on the Ocoee River (the 1996 Whitewater Rafting and Kayaking Olympic Site), 300 miles of hiking trails (40% of the county where Tuckaway Ridge is located is National Forest), apple orchards, and three nearby 18-hole golf courses. Also, fishing, jet-skis, and swimming are available in nearby Lake Blue Ridge. Of course, we like to just sit back, look at the view, read a book, or watch the 42" plasma TV!

  Tuckaway Ridge cabin is by far a luxury cabin in Blue Ridge. We have stayed at many cabins but none will compare to this one. The owners are great to work with as they respond quickly to phone calls and emails. This place is fantastic!!! It has every amenity you could want and then some. It is an easy 10 minute drive to the lovely town of Blue Ridge. We stayed 3 days and it rained the whole time but we still had a fabulous time in this spacious cabin. We have since booked the cabin for 3 more upcoming visits and can't wait to get back. What a beautiful place this is!!!

  Tuckaway Ridge Far Exceeded Our Expectations

  Tuckaway Ridge had everything we saw online - and more. My family and I were fortunate enough to be able to rent this cabin over the Christmas/New Year holiday and it could not have been better suited for several families that wanted to get together and enjoy the beauty of the mountains from a place that had all the comforts of home. The year round view was even more spectacular than the pictures online. It was great to sit in the hot tub and look up at the stars with all the lights out. When it was cloudy, the clouds looked like rivers moving through the valley below us. It seemed like the view changed every few minutes. They also had 2 king beds, and a double bed for the adults, and then a bunk room with four beds and a futon in the rec room for the kids - it worked out perfectly for our family. The kitchen was better equipped than what I have at home, and the outdoor patio and fireplace was totally awesome. When I called the owners to ask a question about the TV the owners were easily accessible, and they were also good to work with prior to the rental. Blue Ridge was a great little town with great shops and restaurants, and there were a lot of hiking trails (including some to waterfalls) in the area as well. I can't wait to return!
