My husband, myself and our four-legged son stayed here after a family tragedy. We needed peace & quiet and that is what we found in this cabin. "Blue Ridge Beauty" is just that plus it is immaculate and truly fully furnished with everything one needs for a terrific vacation. We will go back again and highly recommend this place to family and friends. Staff at Sundance are so easy to work with and we found everything they said & directions to be totally correct.

HSV, ALQuaint cabin in the woods

this was a very neat experience as opposed to staying in a hotel like we usually do. the cabin is just about 4 miles from downtown blue ridge. in the woods off a short gravel path, secluded with other cabins nearby but kept private by the lush woods. wonderful place to bring your kids and have a pitfire by a small creek (which was not substantial enough to get in). there is a hottub screened in off the main bedroom. the upstairs has its own screened in porch as well where you can sit and look right into the treetops. pics are true to the cabin's look. nice high ceilings, pine walls and floors everywhere. would recommend a few barstools at the counter and a hammock outside would be ideal...hehe. great place to come for some rest and relaxation. be prepared to follow the directions given. you have to be a little bit of an adventurer to get around this area. its not a major city like chattanooga where you can get right off the interstate and hop right over to things. its like home where you have to travel a bit away from the main roads and then into some woods a little. just kick back and enjoy nature. wish we could have seen more wildlife actually but we were pretty left alone except your typical ant and bug in the cabin and on the porch. you are in the woods so just bring your bug spray just in case. there is a tv and phone and plenty of lights to guide your way in and out of cabin. on a saturday night sitting on the porch we did hear what sounded like a race track close by echoing pretty loudly thru the woods and on occasion we would hear a howl from a dog? not sure. but anyway, we felt safe and for the price, what a great deal and cool place to stay!

Ghad that wonderful cabin atmosphere. Hot tub every evening. Fire pit for hot dogs and marshmallow roasting. And a wonderful little neighborhood dog that came to say hello every morning and evening and trotted home after the puppy treats we gave her. So close to Merciers and those apple turnovers. Peaceful, quiet.

Absolutely stunning, we loved everything about this cabin and will be back during the spring to bring our 2 grandsons. The creek is just the right size for them to splash in without us having to hover over them. The manager ( Mr. Tom ) made a trip out to the cabin to inform us of pending snow...Thank you so much...One of the most touching aspects being the cabin is pet friendly. This speaks volumes for us with our 2 Chihuahua's (Muffin & Dixie) being able to come with us, the bonus being there is a little dog, guess her name is Peanut, that welcomed our pets also. We love us some Peanut! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and have already suggested this place to our children. Hoping by fall we can find a cabin to house 5 families.
Also, it is important to not feel as if we are just another tourist and to be lost in the crowd, yet have access to wonderful shopping as there is downtown. Quaintness is the word I use to describe Downtown Blue Ridge!

This was to be a cabin on the creek-there was fallen down trees all in the creek and no water. It needed cleaned up even the yard had limbs and trees piled up. There was even a shed of a large snake hanging off the roof.

I am sorry that there was only a little water in the creek, when you were here, it had not rained in about six weeks. We just got our first good rain yesterday. We hadn't burned the pile of branches because of the drought and the fear of starting a forest fire. I have not seen the snake skin, I will definitely take care of that the next time I am at the cabin. Thank you for bringing it to my attention!

the perfect cabin..perfect size. enveloped with native trees and plants..can't see neighbors house for the dense woods..wonderful creek, firepit..good linens fully stocked kitchen and the best manager you could ask for..solved all my issues immediately..thanks tom..i will be back..book this cabin, if i haven't already locked it down..

Location was great. Not far from town. Quiet but not remote. Cabin was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Service from Sundance Cabin Rentals was superb.

We loved our weekend getaway. The cabin is nice and comfortable with all the conveniences of cable and WiFi. We felt like we really got away from it all, and back to nature, but we were minutes from town when we wanted to go do something. It was priceless sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch and watching our kids catch crawdads in the creek. They had a ball. We all loved sitting in the hot tub and looking out into the woods.
