Points for being very isolated, yet easy 15 - 20 minute drive into town. The cabin is on a hill surrouned by trees and the only noise we heard all week were birds and the wind.

This cabin was wonderful! It was so peaceful and relaxing to sit out on the porch. We had a strong storm while we were there and the cabin still felt safe. We did loose power, but Tom was so helpful through the outage. Despite the fallen trees from the storm, the roads were open the next morning. The cabin is far from town, but it is a nice country drive and well worth it. Kids loved the swing out front and its not far from waterfalls and hiking trails.

Pam, thank you for everything. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and I must admit, you were very busy while you were in town! I saw you everywhere!

The cabin was comfortable, clean, and had more amenities than we could ever hope for. I had to have Internet access for work and was happy that I was able to easily connect. The kids loved the cabin and the swings outside. It was an overall wonderful experience.

We traveled from mid-ga for a weekend getaway to go white water rafting on Ocoee River. It was a short trip to the Tennessee border (@40 minutes). Also the kids found a place to tube the Toccoa River, only a few miles from the cabin. The house was great for our group. The only drawback was it was a long ride back into town. But if you plan ahead for groceries you should be set. It was very comfortable and well appointed. Weather was beautiful!

overall a very nice cabin. very clean and comfortable .this is a fairly new cabin with all the amenities you would have at home . we really enjoyed having wireless internet and satellite tv.the outside grill was a little weathered but it still worked.

I understand what you mean about the grill, It amazes me how fast grills wear out in the cabins. They definitely get a workout at the cabins!
I'm glad you enjoyed your weekend1 -

Enjoyed our stay very much. Decorated very tastefully and had most ammenities needed for a wonderful stay-including a real black bear! Very secluded which had it's positives and negatives. Beautiful view which made up for the drive to and from town. Wonderful people who run these cabin rentals. Came to check on us and place was very clean-they work hard! Only negatives were the grill which was not really suitable for using and the master bedroom door which could close better for more privacy. Great rental-would love to come back very soon. Fell in love with Blue Ridge.

We booked this cabin as a last minute rental. I was overall pleased with our experience. The location was definately private. It was a good distance to town, but it was a plus to get away from the hustle and bustle of things. It had obviously been a while since our cabin had been used, so it was a little on the dusty side, but otherwise, clean. We really enjoyed the porch and hot tub. The sky and view of the adjacent ridgeline was priceless.
