Blue Ridge GAoutstanding service and cabin, wonderful location
Left on 01/25/2012 for a stay in December 2011
I rented Shallowford View for an impromtu gathering of friends. Tom at Sundance Cabin Rentals worked with us to give a fair booking for less then the typical number of days, the cabin was immaculate, the views from the deck are great. We were comfortable and felt welcomed. My only comment to be aware of is that the driveway is a little steep for parking but there is sufficient parking at the top and at the bottom for at least 4 cars. This cabin is also within walking distance to Toccoa Riverside restaurant, an added bonus and is a very short drive to the Toccoa River Canoe Trail, Rich Mountain Wilderness, and many more aska adventures. I would recommend this area, Sundance Cabin Rentals, and this cabin to others looking for a North Georgia vacation!

Staying at the Shallowford View made our family vacation a most relaxing and memorable vacation ever. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything you would need to make your stay a pleasant experience. We are looking forward to coming back real soon. We highly recommend Sundance Cabin Rentals.

Columbus, GAWonderful, as always
Left on 09/07/2011 for a stay in July 2011
I have stayed at Sundance cabins several times, and they are a vast improvement over the previous rental company I used in the North Georgia Mountains. First and foremost, Tom is attentive and caring, and a businessman of his word. Second, the cabins are attractive and clean, and there are no rude cleaning people calling prior to check-out time to pressure you to vacate early. And the third thing might be one of the best - but in the category of 'little things you think won't matter but really do.' The keyless entry is fantastic - it makes the beginning and ending of every trip vastly better, because you don't have to worry about timing your arrival to coincide with office hours, and you don't have to do an errand to return a key before you leave town.

I'm glad you had a enjoyable stay with us. It is good to hear feedback about the keyless entry. I know it saves everyone several extra stops, and eliminates the pressure of getting here by a certain time, but it is still good to hear it from the guests.
I hope that you will find time to come back again and stay with us this fall! -

Left on 09/01/2011 for a stay in July 2011
The cabin was well stocked clean and beautifully furnished. There were many games, cards and the pooltable provided for entertainment. Our grown kids and grandsons were inseperable from the river and spent countless hours floating we even tried the six mile run, kinda long but would do it again. We are looking forward to our next trip. Thanks Tom for a great vacation.

Wood floors and walls provide a cosy cabin atmosphere. Two queen bedrooms (one with extra twin bed inside)plus a loft with a futon couch and chair provide sleeping for 8! 2 1/2 baths keep everyone comfortable and clean! Tubing on the river within walking distance of cabin. Town is just a short drive away with great restaurants and shopping.

Cumming, GARelaxing / Great Place to Visit with Extended Family!
Left on 08/25/2011 for a stay in July 2011
The cabin was spacious, relaxing and pet friendly. Our nest is empty and we did not bring the grandchildren but the cabin and location were perfect for visiting with our cousin and her husband who drove down from Chattanooga for a couple of days. Lots of things to do . . . pool, fishing, hiking, tubing. The kitchen has all the equipment/utensils needed to cook fantastic meals. The only disadvantage was the small parking area at the top of the steep driveway. We had a wonderful time. Tom provided great service and we will definitely consider renting from Sundance in the future.

Beautiful and serene! Our experience was even better than we expected. We fell in love with the area and the accomodations. We look forward to enjoying blue ridge during other seasons as well, and plan on bringing the entire family! Thank you Sundance!

I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Your arrival was pretty scary, driving in a snowstorm. But it turned out okay once you got here!

Greenville, SCRiver wonderland for the kids
Left on 10/18/2010 for a stay in October 2010
This cabin was well-kept, very clean and comfortable. Kids, aged 5-9, had a blast playing at the river (too cold to go in) and fishing. The view of the river from the deck is perfect, but we went upstream to access the river, at the canoe put-in. The only problem with the cabin that holds me back from rating it "excellent" was that the basement was unfinished, and that was the best access in and out of the house and where the pool table was. I would rent this cabin again.

Decatur, GALovely place / Clean and up to date
Left on 07/26/2010 for a stay in July 2010
We found the location easily. The home was clean and up to date. Our visit was short but we would have enjoyed the surrounding area. Beautiful part of the river. The big problem was very fixable: The coffee pot did not fit the coffee maker. Thank goodness the house had cleaning supplies. A fan on the screened porch wasn't working. Nice place.

JACKSONVILLE FLORIDAAwesome family fun on the river!
Left on 07/15/2010 for a stay in June 2010
Shallow ford View was our best vacation on the Taccoa River and Blue Ridge area with hiking, biking and swimming.
The cabin was awesome, was stocked with plenty of books and games, pool table (my son is a pool shark now) and felt very homey. Our kids loved the cabin and spent many hours in the river. We would go up to the rocks & rapids, about 1000 yards up river and play all day. Stop by the Blue Ridge tire store and get a few inner tubes or stop by Ace Hardware for floating tubes. Dad can even sneak over and fish while the kids swim. I caught a trout last year but this year I only caught a bass, catfish and two horney heads.
The hiking was great for us each morning. We would go up the road to the canoe launch (right at the y), about five miles round trip, or to the Tilley Baptist church or hike up to Lake Blue Ridge,(left at the y) about 5 miles also. There is a hiking trail along the river going towards the boat launch where we saw a baby fawn and some wild turkeys.
My kids11,11,11 yrs had their first 5 mile hikes and my son and I had our first 10 mile bike ride together. Leave the cabin and go up the road past the canoe launch (right @ y all the way around then right at next road to the Vanzant Store, stop and have a snake, we had baloney & tomato sandwiches, then your next right that will bring you back to shallow ford bridge. We saw only one car the first half and about 6 the next. There are plenty of wild blackberrys, some not ripe yet, along the way.
Take an evening stroll over to the Shallow Ford Bridge and hang out at the gazebo with an ice-cream from the store. The people at the store are very nice. We went there our first night to get some foil for smores and they were out of foil but gave us some from their kitchen. They have good food if you do not feel liking cooking. Wow, that was a long review but I hope it’s helpful.
Thanks Tom for a great stay!

Wow! You really had a great time! You did more in a short vacation here then we probably do in a month's time. It reminds me that I need to take time with my family and explore Blue Ridge more.
Thanks for sharing your experiences,
