Planning a trip to the North Georgia Mountains is exciting. If you travel up to these parts, you should certainly plan a trip to the little mountain town of Blue Ridge. If you’re the adventurous type, booking your stay at the River Retreat is the perfect place to run and play! This cabin isn't ordinary, nor is its location. There’s simply nothing ordinary about this cabin situated on the river bank in this picturesque little town. There’s nothing ordinary when it comes to staying on the Toccoa River located in the Aska Adventure Area.

You’re in the mounta...ins now, and that means anything goes when it comes to the wildlife you’ll observe and all the wonders of her mountains majesty. Getting back to nature is what you've been searching for, and the River Retreat is all you need to kick back, relax, and take in the sounds of the river as it brushes up against the rocks just outside your cabin door. But if you’re one who seeks that untamed mountain adventure, this cabin’s locale is where you want to be. With the river beckoning your name, there’s plenty of fun waiting for you. You can spend the day tubing, or step up to some rafting. Some of the best fishing can be done just a few steps from your cabin. Try hiking some of the mountain trails if you really want to go all the way with your mountain experience.

There’s certainly plenty of room inside this 4 bedroom, 3 bath cabin located in Blue Ridge. Here’s the neat part of staying at River Retreat: there’s two kitchens, one upstairs and located on the main level. This is the perfect cabin for two families to enjoy any time of the year. As you drive up to the cabin you’ll notice a large screened in porch. Take notice to the hot tub also on that same porch, just waiting for you to relax your tired bones in. Another perk regarding this cabin is that there is a master bath both up and down stairs. Each level has a guest bedroom, making this cabin more like two in one.

Some extra amenities are WiFi internet, washer and dryer, satellite TV (DVD VCR), gas log fireplace, and plenty of room for your furry friends. Don’t forget to check out the fire pit outside. Grab a couple bags of marshmallows for roasting and some hot cider or chocolate. Throw some blankets over your shoulders and enjoy the outside evening air. Take time listening to the night sounds of the North Georgia Mountains down by the rivers edge.
