The cabin is as pictured. Our family could not wait to get there. Directions are vague to say the least. After arrival, we had trouble with the internet connection, no fan access, the air was fine in basement and living room upstairs it was very uncomfortable at night. In the basement it was infested with scorpions, crickets to the point our girls would not sleep in their rooms, so they slept in the loft area the whole time. Called the people handling the rental about the issue her response " I was bitten by my first Scorpion, use witch hazel and anbesol and that will help??? regarding the living room fan said it was on a two way switch, well no switch in the cabin would turn it on. No follow up with the care takers. Very disappointed with the customer service. We could not fully enjoy the cabin. You definitely need a truck to safely travel up the mountain. The booking of the cabin was not a problem it was after care that really turned us off. Btw it was not one or two scorpions it was in a span of three days 15, we got tired of picking up the bodies of the insects after three days. Tried to book the "In cabin Chief" lol yup not happening either!!! phone would not allow messages and email was never returned. After three days mother Black bear and cubs were outside so my girls could not go outside freely. The locusts at night were not serene but actually loud to the point you had to speak louder inside to hear each other. I took pictures and video of all of the above concerns. Linens were a bother, no change of sheets so We had to strip and launder them and wait to make the beds which was not apart of my vacation plans. You should supply a change without having to waste time on laundry. I think they had pest control in but did not inform us of this going to take place. Found a card on the counter but still had insects everywhere. They closed the gate on us, on our way to explore in the am in the rain we had to get out and open it. Have no idea what that was about

The Canadian Lodge is a beautiful cabin! Very serene and modern...filled with upgraded amenities! I planned an all-girls weekend trip and the ladies loved it!
The customer service was impeccable. We, totally, appreciated the attention to detail and professional and pleasant attitudes of the cabin management staff.
We will be back!
