Its location, just seven minutes outside Breckenridge in Blue River, plus its unfettered view of Quandry Peak, will have your whole family "oohing" and "ahhing" over the possibilities!Inside, an open floor plan, rich and rustic woods, stone, leather and tile combine to bring your dream of a Colorado mountain getaway to life. The common areas seem tailor-made for a multi-generational family reunion...: a game room with a pool table and foosball, a high-end kitchen with acres of counter space, and an expansive deck where you can enjoy the sunset or perhaps catch a meteor shower. The rental is awesome. It cam full stocked with everything we needed for our trip. It wasn't too far away from Breckenridge. Make sure take your supplies before you go if it is icy conditions. You definitely need 4 wheel drive to make it up the driveway in the winter. I wouldn't consider the 7th bedroom a true bedroom because of the sound coming from the mechanical room but if you need somewhere to sleep then it suffices.
Awesome house!! Insanely good views! Couldn't have had a better

house had plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our party of 12. Plenty of place settings, chairs, towels, etc for our whole group. House sits at the top of a development with views that are unparalleled in the region. Awd vehicles a must when getting significant amounts of snow (5"+).
One thing to consider...house sits at 10,700 ft. One person in our group got Hape due to altitude - but really could happen to anyone in the area.
Overall, will definitely look at this house again next time we come back to Breck.

The house had a beautiful view, if you could get to it! The driveway was a problem because of the ice and snow. We had 3 cars and had to put on and take chains off just to leave the house. The furnishings were worn and several lights were burned out and new bulbs weren't available. Also, the televisions needed to be updated. The foosball table was broken and couldn't be used. Also, the house was very hot and we couldn't get it to cool down enough to sleep comfortably. The mattresses were worn out also and tilted toward the outside edges so that you kept rolling to the edge. We have rented several vacation homes in the past and this was the first less than favorably experience we have had.
This was a great venue for our annual Thanksgiving Rendezvous

The location and unobstructed views of Quandary Peak are stunning. Overall the property was in good shape; clean; and accommodated our group of 18 very well. We did have to add a table so that everyone could enjoy eating together...but we worked things out. The hot tub was a big hit. The lighting in the lodge is a bit weak (especially in the kitchen area). The ideal floor plan for us would include a great room (without TV) with a separate aV room...so we will look around for a different property/floor plan for next year. We would return here if unable to locate anything better. The price was competitive. We always leave a place better than we find it...so felt that the $595 cleaning fee was a bit over the top. Property management could have been more accommodating as we struggled and ultimately failed in our effort to gain early check-in and late check-out (even though no one was in there before or after us). It felt like they simply didn't want to make the effort. 10:00 a.m. check-out is way too early. This should be moved to noon or at least 11:00 a.m.

The house has a great view. We had a party of 11 and the house was perfect. The house was fully stocked with dishes and utensils. The house is located a short drive to Breckenridge and many fantastic hikes. If you have a large party you can't go wrong with renting the Red Fox. The people at VisitBreck were very nice and helpfull.

Red Fox is a beautiful home. It's only 7 miles outside of Breckenridge, so it's fairly convenient to the slopes.
Pros: Great house for large groups. Everything is provided. Just bring your skis.
Cons: Not too sure about the service from the rental agent. On my rental confirmation, they mentioned that they offered a free shuttle service. Some people in our large group were depending on that shuttle to go into town a few times. The rental agent dropped that service before we arrived, but never told us.

Four generations of my family spent six nights at Red Fox. The view from the deck is unsurpassed and the layout of the home is well-planned. However, we had some inconveniences such as: not enough towels, about half of the beds were very uncomfortable, the sofa bed downstairs was even broken. We also had issues with the overall cleanliness of the home. And the roof leaked over the kitchen when it rained! Most of these issues can be easily resolved and the place would easily get five stars!
