TARPON TALES was custom built in 2009 for multi-family beach vacations with huge gathering areas and secluded decks to commune with family and friends.

This property is phenomenal! Spectacular sunset views, direct beach access, pool, hot tub, bocci ball court and a few-block walk to town.
The house is spacious with a large open floor plan, plenty of room to watch TV, and the dining table seats 10/12 easily.
We had grandmas from both sides, 5 adults and 2 college age kids.
Between the open floor plan, bedrooms and decks on 3 sides, this house easily provided plenty of space for all.
It is well equipped; we lacked for nothing.
Our favourite activity was watching the sunset from the rooftop deck.
The only item of note is there are lots of stairs, but there are banisters and the stairs were no problem for our grandmas of 80+ years.

Sarah was wonderful helping us to find places on Boca Grande for a large family reunion. We had a fantastic time. This home has lots of room and beautiful sunset views. We loved Boca Grande and hope to go back soon.

This is an excellent location and execellent house with all the bells and whistles you could want for a beach rental. Pool, bocce, across from the beach. The house has lots of kids pool and beach toys, beach cruisers and more. We really enjoyed our 2nd stay at Tarpon Tales and are planning our 3rd.

I had the pleasure of staying at Tarpon Tales with 11 other ladies for a "Girls" long weekend in January. This home truly made it extra special! There were bikes that we rode a short distance to town and the state beach at the end of the the island. We walked a few blocks to play tennis at a public park where three courts provided lots of laughs for doubles play. Most of us also took time each day to walk/bike into town to shop for gifts and bargains for ourselves, and of course enjoy some great ice cream at the Loose Caboose. We were able to go to the beach (right across the street)one afternoon, but we spent quite a bit of time laying around the pool at the house. There were plenty of lounge chairs and seats for everyone. One of my favorite events was making our way up the circular stairs to see the spectacular sunset.
There are many places to eat at Boca Grande, but we choose to eat "in" most of the time. We took turns making our favorite dishes which was easy because the kitchen was fully equipped including beautiful serving dishes that made it even nicer to eat at the huge table that we all fit around! After dinner (clean-up was a breeze with two dishwashers)we enjoyed sitting in the spacious, but inviting living room talking and listening to the stereo system.
I slept in the children's bunk room with three other ladies and was surprised at how comfortable the mattress was. There was plenty of space for our clothes and room to move around. While this room is upstairs with the living room and kitchen, I found it very quiet when I closed the pocket doors.
Everything about the home was new and clean feeling. There was space for all of us to gather around for a whole group talk,or break off into smaller groups to have quiet chats.
The home was so nice-perfect really, that we ladies joke about living out our retirement in the "Wonderful Yellow House" in Boca! -
Very happy renter. Will stay here again.

We rented this house with 3 grandparents, 4 parents and 4 kids and it was great for everyone. The house is nice, new, and clean. The upstairs level is an open plan laid out with a kitchen, dining room, and living room that provided plenty of space for all of us to be together and not on top of each other. The house is well equipped for large parties with two dishwashers, two sets of washers and dryers, lots of beach towels, beach toys, bikes, pool, grill, and more. All the rooms have their own private baths so everyone has their own private space. Only draw back is that the kids bunk room is on the main living area floor, so if your kids wake up easily that can be a drawback. However, the bedrooms downstairs are spacious so there is room to put the kids to bed in there without a problem. Great location, great house, great everything.
