'Pacific View' is a 3-bed/2-bath (sleeps 6-8) 2000 sq.ft. private home on Gull Drive in the Bodega Harbor subdivision of Bodega Bay. It backs up to the 1st Tee of the Bodega Harbor Golf course and has gorgeous views of Bodega Head, Doran Beach and the Pacific Ocean. The house is well-laid out with vaulted ceilings in all rooms, beautiful wood molding, skylights and tall picture windows. There are 2 beach access trails off of Gull Drive so you are literally minutes from the water.

This is the place where five mommies.. have gone since their oldest were 5, they are now 13. We have shared many times of laughter, tears, and joy. It's a great place to enjoy watching movies, hot tub, relax. do not forget the great walk on the beach. This last weekend we did not get our usual walk on the beach because of the weather but the comfort of the home was awesome!

This lovely home, on a golf course and adjacent to a beautiful beach, offers indoor and outdoor living geared to just about any group. Clean, spacious, and well furnished, the property featured quality amenities in every room, coupled with serene, scenic views. Our group of six played bridge, walked the beach, dined at the bistro nearby, and enjoyed baseball playoff games for three solid days; we'll be back!

Why stay at a hotel, when you can stay in a place that has everything you need and more? Pacific View was a comfortable home away from home, very clean and very spacious. Would love to stay there again and would recommend it to everyone!!! Owners Deb and Dave were very helpful and accomodating!!

Bodega Bay was such a great change of pace for us and the Tarca's home was the perfect place to stay! The kitchen was so well equipped it almost made me want to cook. There was plenty of room for the family to hang out together or apart. The house has everything you could want or need, including a local Park Pass - what a great touch! We all enjoyed watching the Harvest Moon from the hot tub!

This is a very wonderful home and so close to the beach. We walked there several time each day. Very clean and well taken care of. Dave and Debbi have thought of every thing,including chews for our puppies. We really appreciate the use of thier home and hope to keep coming back again and again. We also loved the lay-out with the enclosed area for the puppies. Thanks Dave and Debbi.

Very comfortable stay in clean home. I admit to being initially worried over the lower price and fact that the owner allows a pet. After speaking with Debbie & reading the many reviews, I was satisfied that their pet policy was one I could handle; small pet with minimal hair/dander that stay's dry. I'm not a dog person so a 'doggy smelling house' wasn't going to suit me. This home is anything but! It's clean and very comfortable. I felt like I could have been in my own home save for the ocean waves and seal sounds. We had a great time and will definitely be back. Being able to walk to the beach out the front door is a huge plus! Like someone else said...Perfect fit for our family. Thank you too for the great value and the comfortable stay! We didn't lack for anything.

We had no idea how perfect this house would fit our needs. Short walk to the beach (4 minutes), short drive to Bodega Bay, and the house had everything we needed. The owners keep this house in a way that makes you feel you are the first one to rent this property.

A group of girlfriends and I have been meeting here for a girls weekend every October for the last 10 years. Rain or shine, we absolutely love the cozy feel of this house! It has absolutely everything we could ever need... comfy beds and a huge family room perfect for lounging and scrapping as we watch the big screen TV on our marathon movie nights. The beach is so close, we love starting our days with a long walk along the shore. Then, we take turns cooking our favorite recipes for each other in the fully equipped kitchen. The hot tub is also a nice treat that we enjoy at least a few times during each visit. We rebook every year and can't imagine staying anywhere else.

This is our third time, staying at Pacific View, its without a doubt the most complete rental we have ever stayed at, close to the beach, quiet neighborhood, the view, it rained the three days the last time we were here and still enjoyed!!!
Jan and I can't remember a place that was furnished as well as the owners have done here. In addition, the day we were to arrive. Debbie called our home to advise us that the main road was flooded and that she would provide a Mapquest map via internet for an alternate route, the email when we got home for leaving the home clean and in order.. These comments are easy to write, because the entire time we stayed at Pacific View, we felt that we were truly at Home.....

This fantastic place is perfect if you want a relaxed vacation. We are 3 generations (aged 75 to 4 yrs) and have stayed at Pacific View 4 of the past 5 years. The house is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Everything is supplied - bring only your clothes. There is an abundance of toys, games, beach supplies etc for kids of all ages. The kitchen is great and fully stocked (we like to cook), comfy furnishings and beautiful sunsets into the Pacific. The owner is kind and helpful - email her with any questions

The home was perfect for our needs. The instructions were accuate and the pictures were exactly as the home is. The best thing about the house for us was the fact that we could all be participating in different activities yet still feel connected because of the floor plan of the house. There was nothing we needd. Everything was supplied and very good quality. The State Park pass with instructions was very helpful since we had 2 small children with us. It was a very close walk to the beach. A little strenuous walking back, but well worth the trip. It was completely relaxing. I loved that the hot tub was heated and ready to go when we arrived. The house has the most beautiful view and I could stand at the windows and stare at the ocean all day and be completely happy.

We are return renters to this home. Have enjoyed staying here many times. My wife has come here with girlfriends, we've visited with couples and I've been with the fella's golfing. Nice to stay in a place where everything works, is very clean, linens/towels fresh and the supplies are stocked. Hope to return often.

We are so glad to have discovered Bodega Bay Rentals, the Tarcas and Pacific
View! Our experience was 100% positive from the first inquiry by email
through the delight of receiving our deposit check back within two weeks of
the end of our rental period.
Pacific View has everything: it is roomy, clean as a whistle, well-stocked with
high-quality kitchen equipment, comfortable mattresses and fluffy towels.
The hot tub was ready for use, just the right temperature and smelled fresh.
The collection of games, puzzles, books, videos, craft supplies and baby
equipment was unbelievable.
This wonderful rental home is close to Doran Beach with its gentle surf. The
cost per night is very reasonable and well worth every penny. We'll return and
recommend Pacific View to our friends.....thank you, Dave and Debbie, for a

This was our second stay at this home in Bodega Bay and I know we will go back again each year. We have stayed at many vacation rental homes but this is the best I have experienced. It seems to find a balance between relaxed and comfortable and yet really nice. The best linens, very comfortable beds, and a wonderful kitchen and lots of room. When I arrive I just feel so relaxed. Then we just walk a short distance down the street and find ourselves on Doran Beach for a walk or just to sit and watch the waves. This is a special place.

What a great place to have a girlfriends get together. This house is very user friendly. Not far to walk to the beach. We really enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets each night. Not having to go out to nearby restaurants much is a nice savings too. We did our own wine tasting and of course, relaxing in the hot tub felt soooooo good.

We have had the luxury of staying in this lovely home twice over the past 6 weeks. We were referred by friends who have been here several times over the past 5 years. In all the homes we've rented, this one has been our best deal by far. The value/accomodations/location/view/dealing with the owners directly - just can't be beat. We (3 couples) golfed and dined our way thru 4 wonderful nights. Its a short walk to the clubhouse/Bistro and the beach path is on this same path. Everything is clean and well-maintained and well stocked. I had a question about the home and the owners were quick to return my call. Debbie was very professional to deal with and even gave advice on other homes in the area when our orig. dates requested were booked. We loved this home enough to rearrange OUR dates to suit the homes availability. The owners pride and generosity with the home is obvious. We are very much looking forward to our next visit.... We loved our stay in Bodega Bay. It felt like a home away from home as the house is so cozy and well furnished/equipped. There are games, movies, suggestions for activities, even a GPS for us to use to try our hands at geocaching! I've stayed in other rentals and this one exceeded our expectations and far outshone others. We look forward to returning to enjoy the comforts, the sunsets, the hot tub, the beach. Thank you!

The house was perfect for our entire family. The DVDs and games were great for our older teens, the beach chairs were great for me (the mom!)and spa was awesome. The house was well stocked with extras in the kitchen (salad dressing, napkins, etc) which we replaced before we left but it was nice not to have to bring all these items for the first night. The house was clean, the kitchen had lots of applicances (I needed a blender!)and the towels and linens were clean. We will definitely be back.

The Pacific View house is the perfect place to stay in Bodega Bay, especially for families with children. We have been renting the house each summer for the last three years - our kids are now 5 and 7. We plan on visiting for 20 more years.
The house is extremely well equipped for families - games, videos, high chair, beach toys, and even a baby jogger stroller. The only thing you need to bring is your clothes.
The kitchen is large and well equipped, perfect for preparing big family style meals. The large dining room table is a great place to hang out talking about your vacation adventures.
It's a short 6 minute walk from the house to the beach. Doran beach is ideal for kids (unlike most northern California beaches). The beach is not steep, so there is very little riptide/undertow. It's a great place for young kids to play in the water (the water is cold, but the kids don't seem to mind). If you chose to drive to the beach, the house has an annual day pass for your use (saves $6 day).
The house and furnishings are in excellent condition. The wireless internet access works great. The owners are very careful to make sure everything is clean and working - their personal pride in for their house is obvious.
The only disappointing thing about Pacific View is having to leave. We recommend you stay at least 5 days. It's the minimum amount of time it takes to fully enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of Pacific View and Bodega Bay.
