The stay was good but my only.complaint is was pet hair everywhere on carpet and couch. The.bathroom wasnt very clean.

I had a wonderful stay- Tramonto was cozy, clean, modern and relaxing. I spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the birds and the sunsets and listening to the sea lions barking. And there are lots of great hiking trails and interesting rock formations nearby to explore. This was my first Christmas since my husband passed away and I could not have picked a better place to spend it. When I checked out I reserved it again for next March.

This is a perfect little place for a couple! Just enough space, a well equipped kitchen that allowed us to save a little money, have relaxing breakfasts, and make home made crab cakes! The views are stunning, we managed to catch some beautiful sunsets. The bathroom is great with a huge shower and lots of storage. We hope to go back one day!

Had an absolutely wonderful time staying in Tramonto. Of course the deck was the best feature. Although the space is small, it has all of the amenities needed and very comfortable. Working with Bodega Bay & Beyond was simple and easy. The only negative I can think of is that we could not find the linens to go on the futon when it was put into the bed position. There was a mattress pad and down comforter, but no duvet, pillow cases, or sheets. We looked everywhere but had no luck finding them. Other than, I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Tramonto was a very nice place for our getaway to the Sonoma coast. It was very clean, in great condition, and appeared to be newly remodeled, ala Ikea. I would definitely consider staying here again. A few minor suggestions to improve the place would be: A better address sign. When you arrive in the dark for the first time it's hard to figure out which house is Tramonto, especially with traffic behind you on Hwy-1. A dishwasher would have been convenient. And for me the Ikea-type futon bed wasn't the most comfortable (my spouse said it was fine for her).
The only other (non-Tramonto related) hesitation before visiting this area would be to check the weather first. Not being from Calif, we didn't realize that July was typically cloudy, wet, and cool. The sun did not come out the whole time there. Because of this we could not enjoy the deck. Also keep in mind that this place is on a bay with tides. At low tide the water goes out pretty far so you are basically on a mud flat. But there were still a lot of birds and a few seals when the tides are in. I also would have liked to have kept the glass door open at night to sleep with the cool air and sound of water, but there's a foghorn that you can hear when the door is open.
The location was a great base-station from which to explore the area. Being right on Hwy-1 makes it a little risky walking anywhere but since we mostly wanted to get out to the beaches and vineyards it was not a real problem. We enjoyed a great hike out on the Bodega Head, where the wild flowers were abundant and we could see whales spouting. There's also some great beaches farther north for walking.
The rental process with Bodega Bay & Beyond Vacation Home Rentals was very easy and efficient. We arrived late at night so we didn't go to the office first. I liked the fact that Sean in the office called the next day to make sure everything was OK for us. He also offered some great tips about local merchants.

The location is excellent, and the house is clean and comfortable but what makes the stay worthwhile is all the birds. I was not a bird-watcher until I stayed there. We fell in love with the storks, seagulls, eagles, and the wide variety of beautiful birds there. It really gives you a connection with nature and has a way of calming you no matter who you are. We loved the baby sea lions and all of the great areas to hike along the nearby beaches. We loved exploring the beautiful surrounding areas by car. We hope to go back someday and really had a nice vacation there.

We had such an amazing time relaxing on the balcony. The place is small, but a perfect loft style for couples. The kitchen was the best rental I have ever cooked in. The view was awesome. The Birds DVD was awesome, and we even saw the star of the Birds movie in town unexpected. The wine store Gourmet au Bay was fantastic, you wont want to miss the tasting. Only downside to the town is no sidewalks, you can walk to places but you may get close to death many times. The whole area, cabin and experience was awesome. If they'd had a kayak for us it would have been better, but we can't complain!

Still dealing with business closing , this was a must get away , before a screamed. It was, exactlly what i needed to break the every day cycle ... thanks again for the perfect spot for me, the fish fest, was a first, and the music , well we did'nt have to go far just across the bay. Love the barking seals ...

When we got to Tramonto, we didn't leave for days. We felt our stress just drip off as we gazed out across the bay. With bird books in one hand and binoculars in the other, we marveled at the variety of birds and other wildlife so close by. Easy walks to nice restaurants, we didn't use the car for days. The layout was cozy comfy for us and our Jack Russell. We brought our bikes and there is nice ride around the Bay to the "Head". There is a nice bird walk at Doran Park. We made a short bop up to Jenner for the great views and a coast side lunch. But mostly we hung out at Tramonto with it's eye candy views from sunrise to fantastic sunsets.

We spent several nights at this vacation rental and enjoyed watching the rain, sun, and stars from the cute studio apartment. We loved what they did with the space and how comfortable the place was. We enjoyed visits over to Bodgea Head, Doran Beach, and would highly recommend this rental.

I called on Thursday afternoon, was on the road at 4:00, and watching the sun set over the water at 5:30. The weather wasn't so great, but it was better being on the water than home. My little doggy and I found great places to walk. But, our favorite activity was sitting on deck chairs (me) and looking through the deck rails (her) being entertained and soothed by the scene around us.

Loved the remodel and the cleanliness and comfort of the room. It was alot of fun waking up to sea lions roaring and being right on the water. Would definitely stay there again.

We loved Tramonto! The newly rentivated studio was equipped with everything we needed. And the decorators could be entered into a contest on Hgtv...lovely decor! We enjoyed lounging on the balcony watching the birds, seals and sea lions. Being right on the bay was an unforgettable experience. Definitely would stay at Tramonto again. Thank you!

We had a fantastic time at Tramanto and really enjoyed the all the new, modern amenities, The deck on the water was great- we spent long hours sitting there just taking in the bay and the birds and seals. Tramanto is beautifully remodeled and was very comfortable and cozy; probably best for just 2 adults and maybe a couple small children. We enjoyed it and would stay here again.
