Enter the home to the dining and kitchen area. Kitchen is on right; straight ahead up six steps is living room with gas fireplace and views of open water, Bodega Rock, Bodega Head and the Jetties, and small deck. Bedroom with King size bed is to left of living room, and this bedroom connects to a full bathroom with shower, and then up five steps to a second bedroom with 2 Twins and a Sofa bed. Back downstairs to entry level, and down six steps is Master Bedroom with King size bed and Master Bathroom. Down hall past Sauna and Full Bathroom is another Bedroom with Queen size bed. The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment. But do bring storage containers, foil or some other thing to save those leftovers.
The floor plan was very unique and made for very private accommodations. Each room has their own area and almost all on different floors. The upstairs was the most unique and with all the stairs and circulation, a lot of fun for the kids. Not geared for elderly or disabled with all the stairs. But there is one room on the main level and the main level has the most important room - the kitchen and dining. Only one step to the garage.
The amenities - spa, ping pong table and sauna were not so successful. Ping pong was in the garage and not easy to use with 4 cars. The spa was not clear on how to use so we didn't attempt. The sauna didn't have a handle on the inside so the door didn't completely close but we enjoyed a moment inside.
The views are great, the location is convenient to the beach and golf course and is located in a very nice community. -

Service was excellent, the location provides a magnificent view of the bay and surrounding area. Room arrangements provides great privacy and openness as well. Kitchen is well-stocked and convenient. My only improvements would be fresh, new pillows; and, I wish the showerhead placements had been designed by a woman--they are way too high! Too late for that, I guess.

This home is delightful. It is beautiful, well-equipped, and comfortable. It is especially wonderful for those who enjoy cooking and sharing time around the table together. Our only complaint was that two of the twin beds were quite uncomfortable. Bodega Bay and Beyond was very responsive and helpful and made the rental process very easy.

This was our second stay. As before, we found the amenities, location and service to be exemplary. Our only improvement would be to check in one hour earlier and out one hour later. Everyone in our party had a marvelous time.

This is our 16th visit to Fair View Grande. Each year we have accumulated beautiful memories with our life-long friends and families. The view and accomodation of the home offers us relaxation and fun time. Our visit to Fair View Grande will remain our annual event in September...
A couple of requests to the rental agency are:
Kitchen drawers and cupboard need deep cleaning; bedroom furniture needs fixing; and fresher/newer linnen will be appreciated next time. -

We would definitely stay here again. It accommodated all 10 of us very nicely and then some. The sauna was a pleasant bonus as well. Not to mention that is is the first time we've stayed at a vacation rental in Bodega Bay where we actually could walk to the beach. This was very important especially with a preschooler who gets tired of walking quickly. Overall, I would come back just make sure the cleaning crew is not still there upon check-in.

We loved Fairview Grande! We probably travel to Bodega Bay once a year or every other year, and always go through BB&B;, they are friendly, knowledgeable, and make things extremely easy. There's literally never been any hassle with them, and the value you get for your dollar is immense. There's nothing we needed that wasn't provided. Well, one thing and that was the BBQ didn't work. But everything else was great!

We sat in the livingroom window, inspired by the view down the Fairway and out to Bodega Head and beyond; this was true whether raining or sun shining.
Thanks for the added touches in the home; all the supplies and even the bag of coffee beans. Thanks for the extra help upon our arrival. We're looking forward to next year! -

Home had amazing views and plenty of room for everyone. You can walk to the golf course from your house is bonus. I appreciated the staff for calling us each day to make sure that we were enjoying our stay and asking if we needed anything. The staff at the golf course were wonderful also.This is my second time using Bodega Bay & Beyond and I have never been disappointed.

Our ladies book group has been coming to Bodega every winter since 1998. We have stayed in Fairview Grande for the last 10 years. It is by far our favorite house. We love the size, the amenities, the views, and the hot tub. A number of our group are gourmet cooks, and we like to use the wonderful kitchen to pepare meals for the group

We really enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of space and bathrooms for 10 people. We loved that the table was large enough to accomodate all of us at mealtime. The well appointed kitchen made meal preparation easy. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The house was lovely and such a beautiful view. We were all pleased with it with the exception of a few minor things. There weren't enough washcloths (six) to go around for 10 people for three days! Upon removing the pillow cases from my bedroom on the lower floor, the pillows themselves were stained and disgusting.

We were a large group in two houses. A comment sheet with a few minor suggestions was left in the home (Fairview Grande). Don't recall the details, since I stayed in Pacific Jewel next door..
Pacific Jewel needs a new deck and screen door leading to the deck. -

We have been visiting this house for the past 15 years around the same time in September. We look forward to the decor change, new furniture, and garden remodel. Above all, the view and the tranquil atmosphere of the house has been the most we look forward to. Looking at the brilliant stars at night from the spa is the moment to cherish as usual. Thank you. Great house for large family reunion. Kitchen well stocked for large group. Lots of dinnerware and utensils and great gas barbeque. The only thing lacking was downstairs masterbedroom - needs updating. Everything else was great!

Fairview Grande was a great place for our group of 12 golfers.
Plenty of room and great kitchen.
We were however very disappointed in the Hot tub.
I had called a week earlier assuring that the hottub and the sauna worked as stated in the amenities we were to receive for the money we spent. They told us yes that everything was in working order. When we arrived we noticed that the prior tennants had complained that the hot tub did not work and had written a note. We spent a lot of time trying to get someone to help us but with no results. They assured us that they would send someone out after we left to check on it. Little good that does. I got the feeling that the rental company did not check the houses before they rent them out and thus opens up for a bad experience. We used to go to Bodega a lot years ago and decide to come back for a reunion. At this point we feel that we would be better off finding another golf resort to go to than to come back. -

My immediate family stayed at this house for the weekend, and surprised my father with a 80th birthday party. The property was utterly perfect!! The view was beautiful, and the house came with absolutely everything we needed. The house was completley clean and the people at the Home Rental facility were so responsive to all of our needs. I don't have one complaint, as I was completley impressed with everything associated with our stay. I have already recommended this service to a friend of mine...GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!!

Since all my 4 children have left home, I downsized and am not able to have everyone together for a visit. This beautiful house allowed all of us to be in one place and celebrate Christmas and to be together with the grandchildren too. Each family had their separate bedroom and they were separated enough to have privacy. We loved the kitchen and the large table that fit everyone - a highchair was even provided. We used the fireplace and the hot tub. Everyone was able to walk to the beach and grandma (me) supplied the pales and shovels to dig up shells. The house was well maintained and stocked with everything. Cooking was able to be shared and there was plenty of room for everyone. The service was outstanding as the key was right there when we arrived and I did phone and get a response about extra parking. The only negative thing that I can say is that it seemed the price was quite high during the holidays but we had memories to last for years. Thank you.

What a wonderful house for a big group. There is plenty of room for all and the rumpus room upstairs is soooo perfect for the kids. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and have a wonderful family holiday weekend. The views were wonderful and the location to the club house/beach access is perfect. I have been going to Bodega since 1976 - This has to be a top rental!

The thing that stands out to me the most is the fact that the written and pictorial descriptions of Fairview Grand were completely accurate. What we read and saw is what we got. The house was clean, the appliances worked, the view was spectacular and the guests were happy. Outside of a garage door that probably needed some minor adjustment and a shortage of hot water for 8 adults, we were very satisfied with Fairview Grand.
