You enter this spacious home via a circular driveway, into a large entry foyer. Stairs directly in front of you lead to the upper level. To the left of the entry area is a Bedroom with King size bed and TV. To the right of the entry is a second Bedroom with King size bed and TV. It was such a pleasure to deal with Bodega Bay and Beyond! We had a large party to host and they told us which house would be best and they were right.
We had plenty of room, hot water, and essentials. Smaller kitchen, just look at it as bringing the family closer :-) -

The Mainsail Manor home is amazing. It fit my large family with the 5 bedrooms and the large game room with the pool table. We all have a wonderful time. Love the hot tub that looks out to the ocean.

The house is just about perfect for a large group to share, lovely big rooms--our stay had only one big draw back the "kitchen" so tired needs to be redesigned and re-modeled---a lot more counter space is needed for food prep-5 bedrooms large groups !! We set up one of the folding tables in the garage and a small one we brought with us in the kitchen to make the kitchen work---We rent houses about four times a year in differant states and this one was very nice and comfortable.

I invited a group of 11 women to scrapbook for the weekend with me. The house had beds for all of us and plenty of room to scrapbook together. The kitchen was well stocked and the views were gorgeous, and the great room was on the main floor so we didn't have to carry craft tables and scrapbook supplies up the stairs. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing view, amazing house-amazing weekend w/great friends!
Peggy was wonderful to work w/reviewing homes for our non-profit retreat and the house met all of our expectations.
I was able to sleep in the 'Master Bedroom' which was breathtaking. The other four rooms are 'rooms' when compared to the 'Master'. Would love to visit again-g -

The home is very spacious and easily accommodated the 10 people that stayed. It was nice to have Tv's in every room for each person's taste. The kitchen was rather small since we like to cook as a group but overall it was a beautiful home.

This was perfect for our family. Large enough so everyone had enough space so not to be cramped. Pool table, hat tub. tv's everywhere, the beach was down the road, what more could one ask for??

This was the house that a group of my friends stayed at for the weekend of our wedding, and the one we spent the most time at. It was really great because we are a very social group and with the open staircase and great layout it felt like we could all be together even if we were in seperate rooms. The green area behind the house was really great and the hot tub was heated and ready when we arrived.

A easy and comfortable shift from our home to this rental home. It is fully stocked from the kitchen to the baths. All the beds were comfortable and the home was super clean like visiting a friends home with the person feeling of the decor. An area for everyone's needs. We have been renting homes in Bodega Bay for years and this is one we will stick with as long as allowed.

This is the second time we have stayed at Mainsail Manor. 5 of us come to sew and get away for a week. We turn the dining room into a delightfully large sewing room and take time each day to cook and use the hot tub. We also had massages from Teri and they were the very very best! We love the house but just a little bit of work in the kitchen would make it so much nicer. Love the laundry facilities. I think the living room furniture could be arranged so that you could see the ocean view, and a beautiful coastal or wine country image in the living room would be so much better than the modern art that now graces the wall above the couch. But sincerely, we love this place and hope to come back for years to come. Thank you to the office staff for such good communication and pleasant manners! You guys are just great! Thanks, Pam

We have stayed in Bodega many times throughout the years. We felt this one was the best - very clean and comfortable (after we figured out the heat system). Although farther from the water - it was spacious for the eight adults and two 9 year olds. Even though we added two adult children for a night we still had plenty of room to spread out. Town and the water was close enough to go, even though the week we spent was windy and cold.

Love this house. Roomy enough for our large group. Has everything you need for a large gathering except for the kitchen. We are serious cooks (chefs) and that kitchen needs updating. A commercial gas range (Viking, like we have at home) would be ideal. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of dishes, silverware, and large pots but the stove...

Our rental house, Mainsail Manor, more than lived up to our expectations. It perfectly suited the needs of our large family and we celebrated several birthdays during our stay. Doran Beach was close by and the weather was perfect. Bodega Bay and Beyond were very easy and nice to deal with.

very disappointed. This rental was overpriced. Bedspreads and some blancket were dirty. Sofa bed so uncomfortable my son slept on the floor. Doors need repair. Master bedroom needs repair.

We absolutely loved this home! This is the 2nd time our family has stayed in this home. It is pet friendly, kid friendly, and all around family friendly! Its modern furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. Its very spacious, clean, with lots of light and great views. The game room and spa are awesome. It's a really fun place to stay with a big family and a pet. Bodega Bay and Beyond served us in an excellent way. We will definitely stay here again!

We were a mixture of family and friends to attend a wedding at Ocean Song. This house was really enjoyable to stay in. . . .the hot tub was the perfect place on a clear night to see tons of constellations including part of the Milky Way. The kitchen was abuzz with activity as we barbecued steaks and veggie burgers on the grill and used the oven to make molten chocolate cake for dessert. Then there was the pool tournament afterwards and one night we moved the dining room table and danced argentine tango.
The location was perfect - quiet, with plenty of space between houses so we didn't feel like we were crowded into a squishy neighborhood of large houses and lots of other people. -

Overall a nice experience, but house needs some maintenance. There were tarps hanging in some of the room walls/ceiling (i guess there must have been a leakage earlier), spa never worked even though the advertisement stated that, pool table carper needs to be changed, and the barbecue grill was not in great shape too.

The reservation process was smooth and all questions and inquiries were answered during the contract process. Very friendly and professional service from the office and management. The location was excellent, quiet, and serene, it was perfect for business and bonding.
There was a sense of home during our stay, a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere which helped a lot during our series of discussions and business talks. -

Twelve years of spending mothers day weekend in Bodega Bay. This was our first time renting Mainsail Manor but will not be the last! Everyone one, from adult to kid, thoroughly enjoyed the spacious and thoughtfully appointed home with room for everyone to have their own space. Thanks from our grateful pooches as well. The only negative mentioned was the distance from the beach, but even the kids said it was worth the drive to the beach to stay in this house.

This was our second year in Mainsail Manor with my large family. We enjoyed the home, Bodega Bay and the cool weather.
There seemed to be some confusion with your sub contractors:
a. we arrived at 4:15 but the house was not ready until 5:20. Cleaning person was not clear if house was rented or not.
b. Hot tub was not clean (food scraps in tub water). Cleaning person arrived on Wed and throught house was not rented.
Excellent fast service when we called on empty butane tank for BBQ. Was replacedin 15 minutes.

The house was fully stocked with everything except face towels. Everything functioned as expected except the hot tub which didn't heat to the target temperature. We found that out on our last night. The location and view were great.

We celebrated my 70'th birthday. Mainsail Manor turned out to be a perfect place. the house is so roomy so it was not a problem to have family, friends and grandchildren with there boyfriends there.
We had a marvelous time, Bodega Bay is such a beautiful area, does not matter if the sun isn't shinning.

We had a wonderful time at this house! We live close by but this spacious house allowed us to have friends and family come enjoy a weekend at the coast for my husband's birthday.
It is fully stocked and ready for a house full of people. Not to mention for the most part everything was pretty decent quality.
The only issues were that the hot tub took forever to heat up & didn't stay heated, the jetted tub in the master was not impressive and the upstairs shower did not drain.
We were lucky to have a beautiful weekend in January with BREATHTAKING sunsets and great views! This house is spacious, open and inviting with all the comforts and then some. We will definitely be back!

This house is just the perfect house for our family! There are two seperate living areas and it is great for a large family. We have been renting houses in the Bodega Bay area for the past 15 years and this is our favorite home. Furniture was updated and really comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and has a great view, which made cooking more enjoyable! The pool table and hot tub are a bonus. We can't wait to come back next year.

The property was very spacious for our group of 10 and our dogs. We enjoyed the pool table and spa area upstairs and the large dining area downstairs for our meals.
We were disappointed in the kitchen pots and pans that required quite an effort to clean up, in the future we will bring our own pots and pans. We also felt that possibly the garbage disposal should be replaced, we only used it one time to dispose of lettuce and this caused quite a back up in the sink and also water leakage under the cabinet, we had to call for service and it was on Sunday. The reply from the service was, "Can it wait until Monday?", we replied, "No." Someone came over and fixed our problem but we felt they should not of questioned whether or not it could wait, this was an inconvenience we felt was not our fault.
Also, there was broken glass found on the floor in the downstairs front bedroom upon our arrival which we felt was a health and safety issue because we had animals and senior citizens with us, housekeeping should be more alert to hazards such as glass.
Besides these issues we would still rent the property again because it accommodated our entire family and we were allowed pets.

Our professional staff has stayed at several Bodega Bay & Beyond homes over the last eight or nine years for our off-site work retreats, and Mainsail Manor is one of our favorites.
The house has great views, lots of room, and there is a hiking path around a bayside preserve that is within walking distance of the home if you want to take a run or walk, or you are just miles from Bodega Head and other beaches up the coast.
We usually have ten people and the various bedrooms offer privacy for some, while the master and larger bedrooms create lots of space for those who don't mind to share.
We cook all our meals for the retreat and the kitchen is well equipped with great pots, pans and appliances. We eat together around the large dining room table, and have our planning discussions in the spacious living room that adjoins the dining area. The kitchen is separate from the dining/living area, so it is ideal for meal preparations without interrupting our work.
Although the house has no fireplace, there are all the other amenities you could dream of. The pool table and hot tub upstairs are two that come to mind immediately. Cable TV and DVDs throughout, suit our media lovers along with the free wireless.
The house is clean and neat, has lots of linens provided and everything possible is done to make our stay comfortable. Though it is rare, when we have had a problem, BB&B has quickly and efficiently resolved it.
I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to relax with family (or co-workers) and have all the amenities of home. -

What a wonderful house! Great views from almost every room. Comfortable beds and every room has a T.V. We really enjoyed the two living spaces, one upstairs and one downstairs for different activities. I would stay here again.
