Nowadays, in addition to its impressive church the village boasts a local shop and easy access to a number of good country pubs and eateries. The ancient market town of Denbigh with its celebrated 13th Century castle is close by and offers pretty streets lined with shops, pubs and restaurants. The Offa's Dyke Pathway is also easily accessible and provides walkers with plenty of trails and footpaths to follow. Ramblers will be thrilled by the impressive, challenging countryside that surrounds the village, whilst those who enjoy cycling, fishing, and bird watching are also well catered for.

Very nice location, however it is approx a mile drive to barn and the latter part of the lane needs the potholes filling in. Had everything you need but disappointed that we had no hot water in the washbasin all week and few cobwebs. However, despite this, would stay again

The Coach house was absolutely lovely - by far the best holiday cottage we have stayed in. Our little boy loved it, especially the swimming pool. We recommend it to anyone that mentions holidaying in the UK.
Surroundings said it all!!

We received a great service. The cottage itself was beautiful with lots of character. The hosts helpful. Views from cottage were stunning.
The use of the outdoor swimming pool was exciting but very unfortunately the weather meant it was far too cold to use-the girls were very disappointed!!
The lane you use to get to the cottage is long and only wide enough for one car so if you meet a car coming out as we did on our arrival you have to reverse all the way back to the road!!(inexperienced drivers may find this difficult or off-putting)
A wonderful stay

After a very busy year, my husband, myself and the dog really needed a relaxing brake, and thats exsacley what we got, a beautiful cottage, in quiet suroundings, lots of walks around to take the dog on, and a lovley wood burning fire to retune to.
A week in this lovley property has really made us ready for the new year.
