Villa Pustovrh is located on the edge of the village, slightly elevated above the valley, which gives it the best view in the whole valley. If the weather permits, you can see Triglav, the highest Slovenian mountain and a national symbol. If you are able to take your eyes off the magnificent Triglav you can also see the whole village and have an outlook down the valley towards plateaus and summits surroundings the lake and the ski resort Vogel.
Even thought the Villa is situated on the edge of the valley, its location allows for all the benefits of the village life while at the same time it is peaceful and separated from others.

We stayed at this amazing place last February 2010, (and we have also stayed there in the summer). We hope to be able go back yearly, because it is so magical. Bohinjska Bistrica is a very cool village; a great mixture of old world and young hip. The Pustovrh family villa is in a great location, the highest house in the village with an amazing view; the place is huge, newly and loving built by the owners, and is very beautiful both inside and out. My husband and 3 sons, and my brother's family (12 people in all) all stayed there, and there was plenty of room to spare. The rooms are immaculate, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook in. The family who owns it are some of the greatest people we have ever met. This place is truly an undiscovered paradise. There are several choices of places to ski nearby; one of our favorite days was when we drove to a ski area that crossed the border between Slovenia and Italy; skiing back and forth over the border line without any officialdom necessary. There are great areas to hike and cross country ski in the area as well for those who don't downhill ski. Besides the beautiful-beyond-words Alps, Lubjana, the capital of Slovenia, and Lake Bled are nearby, and really fun and interesting to explore.
In the summer, Lake Bohinj is arguably the most beautiful spot in the world, bar none. I couldn't recommend a vacation spot more highly, summer or winter. -

The house is beautiful, well maintained and modern. Its situated on top of a little hill that overlooks the whole town of Bohinjska Bistrica, which is charming and welcoming. We were in the perfect location to experience the beauty that Slovenia has to offer, including the beautiful Bohinj lake and surrounding mountains. Great access to the ski resorts!

This chalet was gorgeous. It had an amazing view of all of the snow capped
mountains and had all the comforts of home. There were lots of well appointed
rooms and plenty of bathrooms and toilets which was great as we had a large
group.
The beds were very comfy.
I couldn't have asked for anything more as it was so close to the ski slopes
and the town which had fantastic shops. I will definitely be recommending this
chalet to my friends and coming back with them.
I believe it's also very close to the lake so it's a great place to go in summer
too. It's just so nice sitting on the terrace having a drink looking at that view. I
can't wait to go back! -

We spend a fantastic week at the Villa Pustrovh and
went to go skiing at the Vogel ski resort, went for
walks in the neighboorhood and the lake closeby. We
just enjoyed the spacious house, sitting in front of
the fireplace and just felt at home.
The house is well maintained and fully provided by
everything one needs. The location is beautiful and
from the terrace one can enjoy the view of the
mountains nearby.
A lovely place to be at! -

I had the pleasure of staying in this holiday home in April 2010 and I recommend a stay here highly.
Inside the house, everything is clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the beds were comfortable and the linen freshly washed.
The views are spectacular from the bedroom windows - snow capped mountains and a view over the town below. Such fresh mountain air!
I only wish I had gone earlier in the season so I could stay longer under the excuse of a ski holiday!

We strongly recommend this holiday house.
We've rented the house in 2008 and 2009 and we'll be back in september 2010.
It's a modern, large,very well equipped house,with indeed beautifull views on the Alps,especially Triglav,the highest mountain in Slovenia.
The Triglav National Park is within arm's reach.
One can make fantastic walks in the park.
The people are very friendly and especially the
owners are always ready to help.
So if paradise doesn't exist,this must be close to it.....
