The apartment is located in the heart of thehistorical center of Bologna, between Strada Maggiore and Via Santo Stefano. The position of the property is highly strategic, in order to visit the architectonical and artistic beauties of thecity center, and it is located at a few minutes from the Giardini Margherita, the largest green area of the center.
In the vicinity there are all kind of shops, pharmacies and banks; along Via Santo Stefano there are numerous bars, typical restaurants and trattorias.
Various buses leading to Piazza Maggiore, to the railway station and to the city center stop in Via Santo Stefano. To reach the Sant’Orsola Hospital, take the bus in Strada Maggiore.

The apt looks just as it does in the pictures. It's centrally located on a quiet street with a great balcony. The kitchen was stocked to do a bit of light cooking. We ate breakfast in the apt every morning and cooked one dinner. There is a nice coop supermarket around the corner. The apartment is extremely clean. The only negatives I would point out is the a/C could have been more powerful than it was. It would be quite hot in the sleeping loft in the summer. It was quite warm when we were there in late May. Bring your own blow dryer. The one provided kept overheating. (Keep in mind it is a 3rd floor walk up, which is not a problem for those who are able to do it.)
The Halldis rep met us on time for the check in. He did not show up for check out even though we confirmed this in an email. However, it was not a problem because we left the keys on the table and the door locks when leaving the apt as well as the building. Aside from that, dealing with the other Halldis rep was great. Attentive service. This was the first apt we have rented and I would do it again through Halldis. -

A very pleasant stay in a very convenient appartment, I would choose it again the next time I am in Bologna.
Only one disappointment: they were working on the house opposite of the street, so the beautiful balcony was without privacy and the workman made a lot of noise. But they didn't work every day, so it was not a big problem. -

The appartment is very good. The only thing
is that the attic is not high, so for tall
people (more than 170 sm.) it will not be comfortable to climb to the attic and to be there.

The beginning was a bit strange. Simone was late and the owner of the appartment was with him but completely ignored us. The appartment is fantastic. It is small but everything you need is available. It is quiet but very central. It has a terrace with a wonderful view. I really appreciated my stay.

Great apartment in Bologna

My husband and I loved our apartment in Bologna. The neighborhood was quiet and residential but an easy walk to the City Center. The space was very well appointed and cozy and completely renovated. It was the best stocked kitchen of any apartment we have ever rented while abroad, which made cooking all the delights we found in the markets a Bologna a treat. There was a nice little balcony for sitting in the sun and chatting with a glass of wine after a day out.
We did have a glitch checking in. The contact person never showed up even though we called from the train to confirm our arrival time. So we had to stand around on a cold rainy day waiting. The owners of the apartment had to be called instead. They rushed over even though they were in the middle of lunch. They were so apologetic and kind, it totally made up for the agency's screw up. We never felt the service from the agency was up to par, they were late for our eventual real check in, never got back to us when we requested another access key to the Internet, etc.
But don't let that stop you, stay at this wonderful apartment!
