Gorgeous and spacious one bedroom apartment for rent in Bologna, renovated and refurbished in February 2011 and located on the second floor of a stately building (with elevator) in Bologna historical center, in a strategic position among the station, the Fair area and Piazza Maggiore.

This elegant 65 sq.mt apartment, completely renovated and fitted with luxury finishes such as parquet flooring, independent heating and air conditioning, opens up onto a foyer with a built-in storage room, where you can put away home products or personal belongings. The foyer leads directly to a spaciousday area, furnished with a red leatherdouble sofa bed..., a crystal table for 4 people and a TV corner with flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo. The modern and fully equippedopen plan kitchen, complete with washing machine, oven and dishwasher, is located on one side of the living area.

A corridor leads to a spaciousbedroomwithtwo single beds(which can be joined and used as a double bed), two closets, a desk and a comfortable armchair. Thebathroomis located next to the entrance door and is fitted with a functional shower stall.

Additional Location Information

The property is located in thecenter of Bolognain a strategic position, at a mere few steps from the works of art of thehistorical centreand from the famous Via dell’Indipendenza, rich in shops, restaurants, cinemas and theatres, and it is also just at 5 minutes by foot fromBologna railway station, connecting Bologna with the most important Italian and European cities. The area, although very central, is not subject to traffic restrictions.
The apartment is only 300 metres away from the MAMBO, a recently set up Museum of Modern Art which hosts numerous works of Italian and foreign artists and which organizes various events during the year.
A supermarket is just in Via Marconi while a pharmacy and a lot of shops are in Via dei Mille. The Arena del Sole Theatre and the Cinema Indipendenza are at just 5 minutes by foot.
A bus stop is located right in front of the building’s door, with lines leading toward Piazza Maggiore, the station and the Exhibition Hall.
Pay parking in Piazza 8 Agosto and in Via Riva di Reno.

  The apartment was well equipped, very modern and very well locat

  We enjoyed our stay at the apartment which was 4-5 blocks from our son's on via Marconi and very close to the main square. The agent met us promptly on our arrival and the experience was very professional.
  
  If I had any complaints it would be that the apartment was a little dusty. I found it necessary to wipe off the shelves when putting away clothes. Also because we were leaving at an early hour our son arranged to meet someone from Haldis to hand over the apartment and he never showed up. Our son called the company after waiting about 45 minutes and was told to leave the keys in the apartment and close the door.
  
  All in all it was a great place to stay and we would recommend it to others.

  Stress free week in Bologna

  We stayed a full week in this spotless, recently renovated and extremely comfortable apartment. Within easy walking distance everywhere, and fully equipped, we were able to relax and eat in after a tiring day of sightseeing! The apartment was bright and very spacious with plenty of cupboard space, the beds very comfortable. Traffic noise was at a minimum because of good sound proofing. The one drawback during our stay was the noise from the movement of furniture above us - a problem we reported to management with a recommendation to put down carpet or use felt protectors! Is it just us, or is it strange to not find hand soap in the bathroom provided? A minor point, perhaps... We would not hesitate however to return!
