This spacious 150 sq.mt apartment, furnished with taste and luxuriously refined, opens up onto a spacious day area, complete with a red leather sofa and with a fully equipped and tailor made open plan kitchen, complete with a dishwasher and ventilated oven. An elegant wooden extensible table creates a charming dining area for up to 6 people, while on the other side of the day area, at the feet of a capacious built-in book case, there is a unique and tailor made piece of furniture on which the TV is located. It is composed of a tempered crystal sheet, finely decorated with engravings and abstract enamellings, and sustained by white spheres sce...nically enlightened by spotlights located in the parquet.
A corridor leads to the sleeping area, which includes a box room with an antique florally decorated door dating back to the 18th Century, and three bedrooms. On the left is a spacious bedroom with two single beds (which can be joined and used as a double bed), an elegant round table and a splendid chest of drawers. The capacious closet, the en-suite bathroom with large shower stall and the French window leading out onto the terrace make the room much more enjoyable.
On the other side of the corridor is the main bathroom, fitted with shower and characterised by contrasting colours, such as the ocean blue tiles and the white finishes, and from the white frames of a large mirror.
Next to the bathroom there is a bedroom, furnished with a double bed, a lacquered white closet and an antique hardwood dresser .
The apartment comes complete with a very bright bedroom with a double bed, a closet and an en-suite bathroom with shower. This room leads out onto the terrace as well, which overlooks a quiet inner courtyard.
The apartment is found in a very strategic position, since it is located closet o Via dell’Indipendenza, where a lot of buses stop, leading to the most important areas of the city: the Exhibition area, the airport and the train station (at just 15 minutes by foot).
Garage located in front of the building with car lift. The apartment is located within the Limited Traffic Zone, accessible after 8 pm, on Saturday or with a permission issued by the ATC point. For long term stays, there is the chance to get a resident permit. Pay parking garage located in Piazza 8 Agosto, at less than 5 minutes by foot from the apartment.

The apartment is located in the heart of the historical center of Bologna, in the most characteristic and historically rich area, and, in fact, in the vicinity are important historical and artistic points of interest, such as the Academy of the Fine Arts, the famous opera theatre “Comunale”, the Hebraic ghetto, the Garisenda tower and the Asinelli tower (at about 5 minutes by foot, as well as Piazza Maggiore), while Via dell’Indipendenza, well-known shopping street of Bologna, is at about 200 metres.
Close by are various restaurants, trattorias, bars and cafés and different kinds of shops, such as pharmacies, bakeries, etc. Moreover, for pasta lovers, at the corner with Via delle Moline is a shop which sells handmade pasta and which gives you the possibility to see directly the process of pasta making.

First impressions are lasting. We pulled up to the address and couldn't believe our eyes. The front door was covered in graffiti,and vagrants at the doorstep drinking beer at 9am in the morning. The entire facade of the building was covered in scaffolding, and construction crews started banging away at 8am until 6pm. The noise and dust contined all week.
The apartment itself, was lovely. Beautiful inside, all the comforts of home (with the exception of construction workers outside our windows). The location was perfect. We were within walking distance to most of the wonderful sites in Bologna.
Halldis should have warned us about the construction, or offered options for another location. They made no apologies or compensation.
I would recommend waiting until the construction was complete, prior to renting this location.
