Modern one bedroom duplex apartment for rent in Bologna, located on the third and last floor of a period building (without elevator) in the heart of the historical center, between Piazza Maggiore and the railway station. The university area and Verdi Theatre are located nearby.

This 45 sq.mt apartment, completely renovated in April 2012, opens up onto a small foyer leading directly to theliving area, fitted with light coloured furniture which boosts the brightness of the room. Theopen plan kitchenis fully equipped and complete with electric oven and dishwasher. On the other side of the room there is a wooden table for 3/4 people and the... room is also furnished with adouble sofa bedand a flat screen TV with DVD player.

A wooden staircase leads to thesleeping areawith slanted roof (but the ceiling is high enough to make it perfectly comfortable). This room is furnished with a closet, a chest of drawers and adouble bed.

Additional Location Information

The property is located in thecenter of Bolognain a strategic position, at a mere few steps from the works of art of thehistorical centreand from the famous Via dell’Indipendenza, rich in shops, restaurants, cinemas and theatres, and it is also just at 5 minutes by foot fromBologna railway station, connecting Bologna with the most important Italian and European cities. The area, although very central, is not subject to traffic restrictions.
The apartment is only 300 metres away from the MAMBO, a recently set up Museum of Modern Art which hosts numerous works of Italian and foreign artists and which organizes various events during the year.
A supermarket is just 10 minutes away in Via Marconi while a pharmacy and a lot of shops are in Via dei Mille. The Arena del Sole Theatre and the Cinema Indipendenza are at just 5 minutes by foot.
Bus lines from/to the airport and Piazza Maggiore stop in via Indipendenza and via dei Mille.
Pay parking in Piazza 8 Agosto and in Via Montebello.

  Apartment is in the centre of Bologna. I liked the apartment it is a little but small apartment but nice at all. The main problem was about staff. Mr Mattia Benedetti argued with me in the check in and check out. In the explaination area of the apartment 'just at 5 minutes by foot from Bologna railway station' We selected walking to the apartment. I called Mr Benedetti to get direction he said to me that i need to find out Tobacco Shop.I accomodated with Halldis in 2010 but it was near to the Bologna Fiera zone.Therefore i have not been in the centre of Bologna before. Than i learnt that in every corner there was Tobacco shop. I walked with luggages and called again him but there was no help. And then i stoped in a Tobacco shop. I called him he said to me that he can come meeting point in 45 minutes. Than i asked people around the street the street name is Falegnami but than i learnt that italian people pronounce it as Fayegnami. I showed the name asked many people for the street in the end i arrived in front of the apartment. I started to wait standing. I called Mr Benedetti many times that i was waiting for him but he arrived home in 75 minutes later. Then we arrived in home i gave 300eur deposit cash. He started to argue with me that i need to pay delay for 2 times 40eur. I said i can not accept that. We argued for 30 minutes then he left the home. I called him for check out to meet at 10:45 am. But he arrived home at 10:30. And he gave me 280eur and said i have to pay for delay. We argued again but then i decided to leave home. Than i went to the train station i tried to buy ticket from the ticket machine with 20eur in every machine the money returned. Then i understood that it is fake money. He cheated me for many times. I was so depressed.

  we are sorry that you were not completely satisfied with our service.
  
  That day we had several clients arriving at our apartments because of the BMA International fair. We always schedule our appointments to allow for sufficient time, including our guest’s possible delay. Unfortunately your first call arrived 45 minutes after the scheduled appointment, so it was too late for Mattia to look for someone who could replace him with the following client.
  That’s the reason why he could wait for you only a little longer, then he had to go to meet the other client and only afterwards he could come back to you.
  We are very sorry for the inconvenience that you experienced, if you had called us earlier, we could have prevented this from happening.
  
  We are sorry for the problem with the automatic machine. As any other serious company we are checking the banknotes that we receive, so I can assure you that we did not give you a fake one. Often automatic machines reject old banknotes, probably that’s what happened to you.
  
  We hope that these incidents did not prevent you from enjoying your stay in Bologna and we thank you for your having taken the time for leaving your comment.
