The apartment itself was clean and perfect for what we needed/wanted. We loved the location.
The only issue we had was with the key/lock for the front door. While a Halldis rep said the key would work if you turned it a certain way, it never worked for us and for the first couple days had to hope that people were there to let us in.
Luckily we met a very nice girl who told us to come by her work and so she could give us her key to make a copy. Once we made a copy of her key we had no trouble getting in. So just make sure you give renters the right key.
Other than that. It was a great experience!
Great value - convenient, well-equipped, and with a fabulous loc

First, let me say --we received great service from aleksandra. I have now rented another apartment through her for March when my husband and I will be visiting our daughter who stayed in this studio apartment for a month. Overall, Maria loved it and would have stayed for her whole semester abroad if it had fit into her budget. The location was a few minutes walk to everything she needed, and she loved being in the middle of the Centro. Two problems cropped up: unreliable WiFi(for which we paid an extra 50 euros) - it was inoperative about 1/4 of the time she was there due to power outages. The router was not in her room, so she had to wait for her neighbor to reset, or for the power to go on. Also, she told us that the heater was inefficient and did not warm the room, at least not to her comfort level. She had to wear sweaters, hats, scarves, etc. and was still chilled at times. Of course, this was especially a problem when the power went on -- mostly on weekends. But overall it was a great apartment. We would definitely use Halldis again given what was a largely very positive experience. Thank you!
