I took my boyfriend here for his 30th birthday and our one year anniversary. He doesn't get much vacation time and this was exactly what he needed. He loved every minute of this weekend. You may think the rates are high but it is def worth every penny. We stayed in the Mason suite and it really had a relaxing vibe. Morning breakfasts were great, we couldn't wait to see what was coming out next. It was also nice to sit with other and get ideas on what to do and where to go. 2 very special women were there for a girls weekend and we really enjoyed talking with them each morning. You can walk right away the corner to the town with a variety of restaurants, from very nice right down to subs and pizza, even a little grocery store. So this place is perfect, very clean, easy to find, great location. There is nothing I would change.

Joe and Patti are very generous, kind people. They were pleasant to be around and really made our getaway "honeymoon" a wonderful experience. The Boathouse was exceptionally clean, and had a home like setting. The breakfast cooked were excellent and filling. If we ever get the opportunity to sneak away again we would love to go back to the Boathouse. Anybody who needs a relaxing time to escape everyday life go to the Boathouse.
