Tucked away on a hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, in Gros Islet, near Cap Estate and Rodney Bay, is Caribbean Breeze. This fully furnished, self contained apartment offers our guests total privacy. Away from the noise for peace and quiet, but yet conveniently located close to all the major activities. Caribbean Breeze has the perfect setting for the business person or anyone who wants to get away from it all. You will experience an estate-like atmosphere, and a non tourist environment and yet be close to the action and activities when you're ready for such.

This apartment has its private balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, living/dining room, cooking facilities, and spacious full size American shower and tub. Maid Service is provided twice a week at no extra charge.

Caribbean Breeze is within walking distance to the closest beach and 7 minutes ride to other beaches. The city of Castries is only 10 minutes away. Rodney Bay, Bay Walk Mall, Casino, Safari Tours, Horseback Riding, Golfing, Banks, Grocery Shopping, Scooter Rentals, Deep Sea Fishing, Catamaran Boat Ride, Night Clubs, Restaurants, Gros Islet famous Friday Night Street Party, are all within close proximity of Caribbean Breeze.

Caribbean Breeze boasts a huge sundeck with an incredible, stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean, and Cap Estate where our guests spend most of their time sunbathing, grilling, and chilling out. A BBQ grill is provided on the deck for outdoor picnics.

We are tucked away for privacy and tranquility, so in order to fully enjoy your stay at Caribbean Breeze, you may elect to rent a small 4-wheel drive vehicle which we recommend but not necessary - if you prefer, you can make arrangements with our house taxi driver for transportation, or choose to walk about 7 minutes to the closest bus stop.

Climate

Annual temperature on the island ranges between 65F and 95F depending on the time of the year with the coolest months being the US winter months and warmest being the US summer months. The rainy season starts in June and normally ends in November. During that period, the sun comes out frequently and even during a heavy shower.

Brief History

During the 17th and 18th centuries, St. Lucia changed hands fourteen times between the French and the British - finally to become a British subject after the last battle in 1814. The island acquired full independence from the British in 1979. As a result of the back and forth battles between the French and British, St. Lucia was deeply influenced by the French and many places on the island bear a French name. The island form of government is a parliamentary democracy.
