Deer Run offers a very secluded natural wooded setting. Located on a unique 78 acres with hiking trails, trout stream and waterfalls. Cabin offers a full size hot tub (seating for 5) on the covered porch along with rocking chairs and swing. High-piered covered porch gives the feeling of being in a tree house.
Guests are able to sit around their own private campfire ring with seating and enjoy a meal at their picnic table. Amenities include a wood burning stone fireplace (complimentary wood included), fully equipped kitchen, WIFI, Digital TV Package, Washer/Dryer, all linens, a large gas grill (gas proivded) and many other amenities.

We had another great stay in Deer Run (part of Fall Creek Cabins) this year. The cabins are clean and comfortable, and stocked with sheets, towels, paper products, kitchen utensils -- everything you might need and lots more. The wooded setting is quiet and beautiful, and having trails and waterfalls right on site is great for days when you don't feel like getting in the car. But if you do feel like driving, Boone, Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway and more are close by. We love exploring during the day, and then soaking in the hot tub or relaxing in rocking chairs on the covered porch at night. We've stayed here annually for more than seven years now, and we definitely plan to be back!

Magnificant cabin in the woods. We had a fire in the fireplace all three days and ate and drank and had great conversation. The hot tub was wonderful and we all slept like logs. Cool days and cooler nights. Kitchen contained every thing you could think of for cooking. Hiked the trails, saw the trout stream and filed it away for another visit. We left rested and relaxed and it is less than two hours away from Charlotte. Thank you for a great place to get away from it all!!!

We've stayed at Falls Creek Cabins for many years now each spring when we visit the N.C. mountains to attend the music festival Merlefest. We keep returning because the cabins are comfortable and in a gorgeous location that's close to a lot of things, but far enough away to feel far from the beaten path. It's easy to get to Boone, Blowing Rock, Wilkesboro, wine country, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, but you could easily spend a long weekend without leaving the property. There are trails and waterfalls right there, and you can soak in the well-maintained hot tub on your porch while you take in the view of the woods and mountains. Wi-fi and digital cable have been nice additions in recent years for times you want to be connected. The owners are extremely responsive both during the reservations process and during your stay. We stayed in a lot of other cabins/properties before finding Falls Creek, and we'd never consider going anywhere else.

A stay at Fall Creek Cabins will refresh and rejuvenate you and leave you longing to return often and in every season. In fact, I return as often as I can to this cabin resort. I have stayed in many cabins in the mountains of western North Carolina, and these cabins are perfect in every way. Beverly and Tim Thompson are superb hosts who make you feel special and work in every way to insure that your stay is everything you want. The location offers seclusion and natural beauty with easy access to nearby attractions. The décor and amenities of the cabins are impeccable. I treasure the times I have spent at the Deer Run cabin. I assure you that a stay at Deer Run will exceed your greatest expectations
