Pine Crest offers a very secluded setting with a wooded view of the nearby mountains. Located on a unique 78 acres with hiking trails, trout stream and waterfalls. Cabin offers a full size hot tub (seating for 5) on the covered porch along with rocking chairs and swing. Covered porch looks out to wooded mountain view.
Guests are able to sit around their own private campfire ring with seating and enjoy a meal at their picnic table. We've stayed at various cabins at Fall Creek Cabins over the years, but one of our most amazing trips was during Christmas break. The beautiful setting of the Pine Crest cabin, up on a ridge, gave us wonderful views. And we spent a lot of time hiking on the property, enjoying the stream and waterfall. The cabin itself was very clean and stocked with plenty of firewood. Most of our evenings were spent nestled around the fire. And because they are located near Boone, we spent a couple of days skiing and enjoying other outdoor activities, too. We even went to a Christmas tree farm and choose our own tree to decorate the cabin. A superior time with our family made even better by the cabin itself. We have spent much more money for small hotel rooms on crowded properties than we spent for a relaxing, private stay at Pine Crest. And watching the snow from the covered hot tub on the patio was a bonus, too.
