My husband and I took our son to an Open House Weekend and thought it would be a great idea to stay in a mountain cabin. We had done this before with great results. We arrived late on Friday and while the cabin probably had been a nice place to stay it had many problems. Everything was run down, the kitchen sink didn't work, but the real problem was it was just plain "dirty" and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The floor was full of dirt, the sheets and towels looked like what I have in my rag closet, and there was a lot of junk all over the cabin (like it was a storage unit). It was one of the dirtiest places I had ever stayed. I tried to call the owner and he didn't answer and did send him an email complaining about the condition-never got back to me. I would not recommend this to anyone--not for the price.
