Left on 02/28/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Our group of 8 family and friends enjoyed a snowy weekend at this cabin. It had all the basics we needed, was clean, and comfortable. We loved having the large open area in the middle for everyone to hang out. We probably got close to a foot of snow over a couple days but the steep road up the hill to the cabin was kept cleared and there was minimal ice to deal with in our 2wd vehicles without snow chains/tires. Being close to the main road was convenient and we didn't really hear much noise from it. Loved the view of the wooded area around the cabin, recessed hot tub, and heated tile floors in the bathrooms! The cabin shows a few areas lacking in build quality (bathtub breaking away from the tiled wall) but the overall presentation is very nice and cabin-y. Some basic kitchenware wasn't provided - like any kind of bakeware/ovenware but we were able to make do. There were some troubles with the internet router not working. Communication was sometimes not as timely as hoped for but all issues were eventually resolved. Overall, we would stay here again. :)
