This very luxurious, professionally decorated lodge is at the peak of mountain lodging perfection! Featuring 3 fireplaces, 22’ soaring ceilings, a 2-car attached garage, high-end amenities throughout, two great rooms, and loads of entertainment options, this spectacular home in the desirable Laurel Ridge gated community will surpass your expectations! The entire main level has 9’ high ceilings and oak hardwood floors with custom decorative diamond-shaped inlays. The elaborate fully-equipped kitchen features Viking brand stainless steel appliances, custom maple cabinet work with under-counter lighting, a 4x5’ island peninsula... bar with a Biltmore Estate brand winebottle opener, granite countertops, and a mosaic tiled backsplash. The living area has a 22’ tongue and groove soaring ceiling with an artful accent cut-away, as well as a stacked stone wood-burning fireplace (limited firewood provided), fine leather furniture, and a flatscreen HDTV mounted above the mantle. There is a half bath between the living room and the dining room. The lavish master suite on the main level has a pillow-top King bed with 600 thread count Egyptian cotton linens, satellite HDTV, a spacious walk in closet as well as a separate linen closet, and French doors leading to the covered wraparound deck, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee overlooking these lovely mountains. The private spa-like bathroom features heated ceramic tile flooring, glass and ceramic tile shower with 6 oversized body jets, granite counters with his & hers vanities, and a separate double Jacuzzi tub. Between the bedroom and bathroom, there is a desk with WiFi router and fax machine, ideal for those needing to conduct pressing business away from the office. The upper level has a loft area perfect for relaxing. This room has a vaulted tongue & groove ceiling and hardwood floors, an artful rhododendron twig decorative screen behind which an inlaid checkers table awaits, with a leather sleeper sofa on the other side of the screen. There are two bedrooms on this level, both with lush carpeting to sink your feet into. Each bedroom has a queen bed with satellite HDTV and several large windows to wake up to stunning mountain views. One Queen suite has a private full bath, and the other bedroom shares a bath with the loft area. The lower level also has a feeling of high-class ease with its 9’ ceilings and tongue & groove walls. Interior support columns are faced with a stone veneer to effortless coordinate with the stone gas-log fireplace and the wet bar. The professional-length pool table dominates one end of the lower great room, with a selection of cozy chairs and game tables for socializing. There is a leather couch in front of the HDTV mounted above the fireplace, and at the other end of the room are three padded window seats cut out of the wall. The second master suite on this level has a king bed with satellite HDTV, and the private bath features a slate tile shower surround and granite counters. The bonus fifth bedroom, formerly the wine cellar, has a twin bed and a trundle underneath it. Access to the huge hot tub is from this room as well. Enjoy soaking your cares away while enjoying these mountains in perfect privacy! Step outside onto any of the many decks and porches. There are over 2500 square feet of covered decks wrapping all around the home, including a portion in front with an outdoor gas log fireplace and dining area with gas grill overlooking the valley below and the mountains beyond. The two-car garage is attached to the house via a breezeway. The house’s namesake, bubbling Diamond Creek, flows immediately in front of the house, ringed by stone and crossed by a boulder bridge to the front steps. Explore the three acres around the house, and in the evenings, when you’re ready for some campfire fun, there is a stone fire ring with boulder benches and Adirondack chairs outside, just waiting for s’mores and marshmallow roasts. You may not ever want to leave such a beautiful haven, but when you do, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to learn that you’re only 10 minutes from historic Boone and about 20 minutes to Blowing Rock. In winter times, all three major resorts are less than 35 minutes away, and in summer, Tweetsie Railroad is a 15 minute drive. All the other desirable High Country attractions and destinations are a short drive away as well. No matter where you go or what you do, you’re sure to love return returning to beautiful Diamond Creek Lodge!

  Recently spent 5 days/4 nights at Diamond Creek Lodge. Nicely landscaped outside w/small waterfall at porch entrance for a nice mountain ambiance. The large wrap-around porch was perfect for younger children to play on. Most all meals were eaten outside at the large comfy table on deck with the convenience of large grill for grilling. Interior nicely furnished with upscale furnishings, ample furniture and decorations in all rooms. Kitchen area was a little small to work in if more than one person preparing meal. On a negative, the kitchen was not well equipped. Only had two salad bowls, 6 cereal bowls, plenty of plates, cups, glasses; two serving bowls and no bowls for storing leftovers. Ample silverware. Cookware was limited. Although linens/towels were provided, no kitchen dish towels or dish cloths were provided. Downstairs game room is bright and roomy with a wet bar and wine cooler. There is no exercise room nor a bedroom with twin beds, as advertised. Not a great view - maybe better when leaves are off the trees. Biggest negative not about the accommodations, but the cleaning service -- very dirty and dusty under and behind furniture, kitchen floor was very dirty -- quite disappointing because you pay for the cleaning service. Enjoyed the firepit for roasting marshmallows. Nice first time experience, but not sure if we would stay a second time. Also, there wasn't any information booklet about the property, like how to work the satellite TVs, etc., which are always provided in other rentals we have rented. Very quiet at nighttime - during the day you can hear some traffic from valley road below, but not terribly distracting.

  Diamond Creek Lodge is gorgeous. Great Property, Beautiful Setting. Home with it all. The serentity with the outdoor waterfall is so relaxing. Our family had a wonderful stay and we look forward in going back in the Fall. Proximity to so much. The beds were wonderful. You will love it!!!
