Additional Location Information

Greenpoint Residences is right on Angol Road, part of Manoc Manoc, White Beach, boat station 3, considered the quiet and the not-so-crowded part of Boracay Island. From Cagban port or the alternative port Tambisaan, it is an easy 10-15 minute ride to Greenpoint Residences. You won't have to walk on the beach again searching for your hotel with your luggage in tow. Availing of the airport transport, we make sure to bring you straight up to the main gates of the apartment.

From the main gate of the apartment building, its an easy 3 minute walk left to White Beach or right up to main road for transport around the island. To the center in D'mall, it takes about 15-20 minute walk on the beach which is easily cut in half if you take the public transport.

By Air:
A. Caticlan is a small airport 20 minutes from Boracay. There are domestic flights from Manila, Cebu and Clark. A motorized trike will take you to the Jetty Port, less than five minutes away. This is definitely the preferred airport for ease and convenience.

B. Kalibo is a larger airport 90 minutes from Boracay. There are some international flights and it can accommodate larger jet airplanes. An air-conditioned bus/ van service can take you from Kalibo Airport to Caticlan Jetty Port for as low as PHP200. I recommend Southwest Tours Boracay for transfer from/ to Kalibo airport to Boracay

Airlines that serve Caticlan and Kailbo from Manila are as follows:

Getting In
1. Caticlan Airport to Caticlan Port- After getting out of the small airport, there will be a line-up of motorised tricycles. The ride costs PHP50-PHP80 per trike for the five minute trip from the airport to Caticlan Jetty Port.

2. Caticlan Jetty Port to Boracay Port- The Jetty Port has bangka (outrigger) pump boats that ferry between Caticlan mainland and Boracay Island from sunrise to sunset. There are sometimes ferries after dark, but not so reliable. The Bangka trip is PHP25, however, non-residents on top of this also pay environmental fee at PHP75 and terminal fee at PHP100. You need to get these tickets at ticket counters outside before you can enter the Jetty Port. The trip from the Mainland to the island is about 10 minutes. If you need assistance with your luggage, porters are available to assist. Be ready to pay PHP20 per item tip.

Depending on the season, you will arrive at one of two (2) Boracay Ports- Cagban Port during the High Season and Tambisaan Port in the Low Season.

3. Boracay Port to Greenpoint Residences- Upon reaching Cagban or Tambisaan, take one of the Motor tricycles to Greenpoint Residences. Tell the driver "Angol Road, sa Greenpoint Residences po, bago mag Plaza" (which loosely translates to "To Angol Road, at Greenpoint Residences before we reach the Plaza".) Travel time takes about 10-15 minutes and fare cost is no more than PHP100 per way for a chartered tricycle to bring you all the way to Greenpoint Residences on Angol Road.

Boracay Island is located off the northwest corner of Panay Island, and belongs to the Western Visayas island-group, or Region VI, of the Philippines. The island is approximately seven kilometers long, dog-bone shaped with the narrowest spot being less than one kilometer wide, and has a total land area of 10.32 square kilometres. When wind and sea conditions dictate, east-facing Tambisaan Beach serves as an alternative entry and exit point.

Boracay's two primary tourism beaches, White Beach and Bulabog Beach, are located on opposite sides of the island's narrow central area. White Beach faces westward and Bulabog Beach faces eastward. The island also has several other beaches.

White Beach, the main tourism beach, is about four kilometers long and is lined with resorts, hotels, lodging houses, restaurants, and other tourism-related businesses. In the central portion, for about two kilometers, there is a footpath known as the Beachfront Path separating the beach itself from the establishments located along it. North and south of the Beachfront Path, beachfront establishments do literally front along the beach itself. Several roads and paths connect the Beachfront Path with Boracay's Main Road, a vehicular road which runs the length of the island.

At the extreme northern end of White Beach, a footpath runs around the headland there and connects White Beach with Diniwid Beach. From Diniwid Beach, it's just a 5 min tricycle ride to get to Puka Beach.

Bulabog Beach, across the island from White Beach, is the second most popular tourism beach on the island and Boracay's main windsurfing and kiteboarding area.
