From its location high on Bordeaux Mountain, Bordeaux Breeze offers one of the most spectacular Caribbean panoramas. Experience total privacy on its hillside perch encompassing more than one acre.

This villa's main level brings you into the custom gourmet kitchen with its granite counters and stainless Jenn-Air appliances; the space continues past a row of counter stools to the interior dining area and into the living room.

Tall glass slider doors open out to the deck and to that amazing view. The deck is set for alfresco dining, with a gas grill at the ready.

Around the corner is the solar-heated infinity pool with a built-...in bench, chaise lounges for tanning and a surrounding sun deck. Adjacent is a second entry door which reenters the interior living area and accesses an entertainment alcove with a large flat-screen television outfitted with surround sound, CD's and DVD movies to watch, as well as books and games for family fun. Electronic roll-down paneling can be activated by a touch of a button, should you want to darken the villa for daytime TV viewing.

A bonus full bathroom with a shower is also on Bordeaux Breeze's main level. Take either the exterior staircase by the pool or descend on interior stairs to Bordeaux Breeze's lower level, where there are two spacious air-conditioned king bedroom/bath suites.

Connecting the two suites is a hallway where you'll find a washer and dryer and an office nook with telephone, fax machine, and DSL service with Wi-Fi for your laptop.

This private little slice of heaven is perfect for couples or a small family who want quality time together, The property's location provides a comfortable central holiday headquarters from which to explore the fun and delights of St. John, the superb National Park beaches, watersports, and the shops and restaurants in both Coral Bay and Cruz Bay.

For those who enjoy fine dining, try Chateau Bordeaux just up the road, one of St. John best restaurants, with a view to match.

  Bordeaux Breeze is a great and very private rental. It's located at about 1100 ft. elev. on Bordeaux Mountain, with truly spectacular and unobstructed views down the valley to Coral Bay and BVI. From the house's mid-island location, both towns (Cruz Bay and Coral Bay) and all of the beaches, restaurants and shopping are short drives. We enjoyed this house for 10 days in 2011 and are looking forward to returning in February 2012.
  
  The house is nicely done: a decent kitchen area, dining inside or out on the deck, a solar-heated infinity pool and a hot tub, comfortable seating areas and two very comfortable en suite bedrooms. Nice stereo and TV, with a DVD player and small movie collection. And Wi-Fi. Two negatives I would mention: (i) it’s a two-story house, and the staircase down to the bedroom level is long and steep. If climbing stairs is an issue, the house would not be ideal. And (ii) the name Bordeaux “Breeze” is truthful. At least when we were there last year, the breeze was steady. After the sun set, we tended to sit inside, as the deck felt a little chilly. We were fine with that, but if someone wants a “stinky hot” Caribbean experience, this may not be the best house.
