My husband and I stayed in Soline Gail's apartment this December for the first time and really enjoyed it.
We found the apartment very comfortable, nicely designed and well equipped to cook a meal at home.
We also liked the location because it is right next to the Grand Theater and Rue Sainte-Catherine.
If we ever return to Bordeaux, we will definitely rent the apartment again. -

This apartment was absolutely adorable in a lovely old (but updated) building. The bed was comfortable, the shower was wonderful and it was immaculate when we checked in. The location could also not be better. It is in walking distance to just about everything you would want to see and to several tram stops if you prefer to ride.
Also, Soline was the sweetest host. She provided tips on what to do and see in the area and even restaurant recommendations that were excellent! Thank you for such a wonderful stay - we would definitely return! -

Location of the apartment was brilliant, right in the centre of town. The host was lovely , spoke really good english as we had no french this was a big help. Apartment was spotless and kitted out with all the amenties you'd need. Internet connection was very fast. No complaints, it was hassle free. Would stay again.

After a slight mix-up in logistics, we met Ms. Gail who provided us with the key and a map, telling us that most everything we needed was within walking distance. She did not exaggerate. Everything was within steps of the studio: restaurants, grocery store, chocolatier, bakery, the metro line, the Office of Tourism, The Grand Theatre, the electric tram, the river, monuments, etc.
Very safe location; the studio was outfitted very nicely but lacked comfort. Also, it lacked natural sunlight. We had everything we needed to cook and have meals in the apartment. Again, it was only a few steps to many restaurants on the nights we didn't want to cook. -

Soline was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and comfortable. It was in an excellent location, within easy distance of everything you'd want to see in Bordeaux, across the road from the Quinconces tram stop and the Tourist Office. There's a supermarket five minutes walk away, and lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Two small negatives: the windows face into an internal courtyard, with views of walls opposite, and the building was a little noisy early in the mornings, so not good if you're a light sleeper.

Soline's apartment was excellent and surpassed our expectations. Location is absolutely unbeatable in Bordeaux. The apartment was clean with all the amenities you could need, fast internet, and very comfortable bed. I doubt we would have encountered a better stay at any hotel. Thank you, Soline!! We hope to come visit again!

Um excelente apartamento para se passar uns dias na encantadora cidade de Bordeus.
A localização é fantástica, a decoração muito "Clean", com mto bom gosto e com tudo o que é preciso!
A unica recomendação que fazemos vai direcionada para limpeza das zonas comuns (hall e entrada do edifício) ... mas sabemos que não dependerá dos proprietários deste apt.

Although this is a small one room apartment (with a separate bathroom) it had everything you need for self catering stay. Spotlessly clean. The location is perfect - it is right in the heart of town - literally opposite the opera house. But, because the apartment is in the rear of the building, it was quiet with no street noise. The downside to this is no view of course - but I think I prefer the quiet! Soline was a lovely host and very helpful.

Gostámos bastante do apartamento.
Com uma decoração cuidada, com tudo o que é necessário e com uma localização excelente.
Muitos e bons acessos, perto de otimos restaurantes, numa zona muito calma e previligiada de Bordeus.
A unica situação que recomendariamos é uma melhoria na limpeza das zonas comuns (Hall de entrada e escadaria). Tb não recomendamos a estadia a pessoas com falta de mobilidade. -

Soline is an extremely nice, trustworthy and attentive host.
The apartment is a very good value for money if you want to stay in Bordeaux avoiding expensive, dull and impersonal hotels.
Perfectly refurbished and nice decorated, functional but warm at the same time, the comfort and room of the apartment is much better than any hotel you could find for this reasonable price.
The location can't be better. You are right in the center, in an classic/elegant building and in a very safe place.
The flat is full equiped with all you could need (except washing machine, but the city is full of laundromats).
Definitively a place to feel like at home, and to come back.

You couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Bordeaux! This appartment is central to everything and in the prettiest part of the city. It was beautiful, clean, and stocked appropriately with dishes, etc. The owner, Solline, also arranged for nearby parking. We stayed for a week and it met all our needs.

We spent 3 nights in this lovely studio apartment located right opposite the Grand Theatre in the 'Golden Triangle' of Bordeaux and we will definitely rebook for future visits to this amazingly beautiful city. I worried a little about booking a 'studio' but it feels spacious with the bedroom area on a raised platform in one corner of the apartment. For 2 people it is ideal and has been well refurbished. There is a fabulous contemporary shower room with excellent water pressure. The kitchen area is well equipped, the bed is extremely comfortable with good quality bed linens. The apartment is quiet with no intrusive lights during the night. Step out from the entrance hall of the building and the beautiful architecture of the Grand Theatre awaits you. Pop across the road to Fauchon for the breakfast croissants and stroll in the other direction for 30 seconds to sip your early evening aperitif at the wonderful Bar aux Vins!
In short, thank you Soline, this is the perfect Pied a Terre in Bordeaux! -

My husband, young son & I spent about a week in Bordeaux for a holiday. Soline has been a wonderful hostess. She is such a friendly & approachable person. She has been most patient, helpful & prompt in all enquiries & with the online booking. The apartment speaks for itself: clean, comfortable, neat & simple with class. The location is wonderful: we went almost everywhere on foot! It is also easy to locate once you reach the city center. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wishes to visit Bordeaux.

My husband and I had the best experience from booking through departure! Gail is friendly, helpful and right on time. The apartment is newly remodeled, clean and comfortable. The location could not be better I would highly recommend staying here. We arrived at the Quinconces station which is right across the way behind the tourist office. No need for public transport we walked everywhere. Our 3 night stay was perfect! Thanks Gail!

We recommend the location as easy access to transport including brilliant tram service and many cultural aspects of Bordeaux. Soline is mannerly,friendly and helpful. The apartment provided us with everything required as a base for our stay. We found the whole experience positive and would definitely return as Bordeaux has lots to offer.

My husband and I stayed here for a week in July 2011 while taking French language course. Perfectly located in the centre of town, right next to the theatre and many restaurants and bars, walking distance to everything. The apartment is on the inside of the building so you don't get any street noise, and plenty of space for a studio. Check in was easy, we were met upon arrival, very friendly and helpful hosts. Recently renovated and modern, everything was in good working order, and there is a lift which made getting up to the 2nd floor with bags nice and easy. Definitely recommended as a good alternative to a hotel when you want a bit more privacy or to stay a little longer. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
