QuitoComfortable and convenient apt with parking and close to metro

My family traveled to Boston to visit colleges. We drove from NYC so having parking was a must. The T was a quick walk from the apt., as was Harvard Square. Lots of restaurants nearby and the Whole Foods was just a few blocks away.
The first night we had a problem with the heating which the owner addressed in a very timely manner. -

I shared the 2BR unit with a colleague and his wife while attending a conference at a nearby hotel (location also would have been great for the convention center). The unit was large, but still had a warm, inviting feel to it, though that may have been influenced by the fact that the warm fireplace felt great during one of Boston's several snowstorms of 2011. The electronic entry system worked fine and felt secure, even when the building was not staffed at night. The location is outstanding, and easily within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and night life. Grocery stores are nearby as well, which allowed us to take advantage of the kitchenette in the unit. The unit was clean and quiet. I stayed in the "second" bedroom, which really does have only a twin-sized bed, but that's all I needed. Also, the electrical outlets in that room are quirky, but once I figured out which worked and which didn't, all was well. No problems accessing the wireless internet. The gym was small, but reasonably appointed, similar to many "full-service" hotels in which I have stayed. And you can't beat the espresso machine downstairs--seriously, Inn Managers, if you're reading this, don't ever lose that thing. I am very likely to stay there again next year when another conference comes into town. One last tip: if you can, deliberately find and then click through the advanced-booking discounts on their web site or, even better, avoid the $50 on-line booking fee and call the hotel and request the advanced-booking discount.
