OhioGreat place to stay in Boston
Left on 05/17/2012 for a stay in April 2012
This was a very nice suite to stay in on our recent trip to Boston. The description of the suite is accurate and we knew the location of the apartment well in advance. The location is perfect for marathon weekend in Boston. I ran the marathon, and my husband as well as some family came to Boston to spectate. My husband and I stayed in this suite, while other members of the family rented a larger suite in the same building. We were all very happy with the accommodations. The management was very attentive and kept in good contact with us, both during our stay as well as beforehand.
The neighbourhood this apartment is located in is excellent. The street is quiet, but it is only one to two blocks from the action on Newbury Street and Boylston. For a quieter outing and fantastic scenery, the Charles and the Esplanade is about 2 blocks in the opposite direction. Taking the T was very easy and I felt very safe in this neighbourhood. I have lived in Boston before, so I felt comfortable walking around and taking public transport, however, even if you are not familiar with the city, it can be quite easy to navigate.
The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, pans, and dishes, and whatever we did not have on hand we were able to get from a storage closet that we had access to. The apartment was clean when I arrived and I felt everything provided was in good condition. This is an older building so noise from the hallway does carry through the walls, however, the people in this building are very quiet and noise was never a problem.
One nice thing that was extremely helpful was that I was able to leave my bag in the building when I arrived early. This allowed me to explore downtown a bit without having to worry about dragging my bags along. I used paypal for the deposit return and it was in my account promptly. -

I was in Boston for 5 days in april for the Marathon. I don't think we could have found a better place to stay (4 adults, 1 child). No hassle check in. Clean and spacious. Great shower and whirlpool tub. There is a grocery store about a block away and a large supermarket within easy walking distance. We ate breakfast in every morning and also a couple of suppers. Newbury St with all it's great shops and restaurants is two streets over, Boylston St. 3. I had a leisurely 15 - 20 minute walk along Commonwealth ave to Boston Common to where the marathon buses lined up. Even better, the finish line is only 5 blocks away. If you want to travel farther afield the Green Line is 5 minutes away. We took in a Red Sox game and was able to walk to Fenway Park in about 10 minutes.
I had friends who stayed in hotels and paid more. 296 Marlborough St. is a much better value. We would definitely stay there again. -

Stayed here for the first week in January. The apartment (esp. bedroom/study/bath) was lovely. This was my first trip to Boston and the experience was top rate. Perfect location for anyone attending a conference/convention at the Hynes. I had limited contact with the management company, but every interaction I did have was positive, competent, and friendly. I would certainly recommend this to a friend.

I was in Boston last fall for a conference and, tired of the usual impersonal hotel room, I decided to try a short term rental.
I did stay in a unit of this building, similar to the one showed in the pictures. I was extremely happy: beautifully renovated, charming space, excellent location, great costumer service. Won't hesitate a second, will definitely return if back in town. -

Left on 11/29/2011 for a stay in November 2011
Although we're used to staying in hotels when we travel, we thought we'd give this unit a try as we were looking for more space as we were in Boston during the Thanksgiving holiday. I can honestly say that this unit exceeded our expectations in that it was tastefully done, private but right in the middle of the Back Bay, and the owner was terrific to work with. I would definately book this unit again without hesitation.

We stayed here during our first visit to Boston last week and we are now totally spoiled and can't imagine staying anywhere other than the pristine Back Bay area with it's abundant offerings of shops, restaurants and attractions all within an easy walking distance. The apartment looked like it was brand new and amazingly equipped for it's size. We loved every minute!
