      Well Located

Left on 05/16/2013 for a stay in May 2013

Very well located place that is comfortable for two.
The furniture including chairs and mattresses left a lot of be desired.

The rental company was very good at getting back to us in the booking process.

      Major positives but some drawbacks

Left on 04/18/2013 for a stay in April 2013

Great location on a quiet street, short walk to the T, couple of blocks from the river. My rental experience was fluid and problem-free. Easy initial access due to the code lock. But there were negatives, starting with the inability to fully open the apartment's door because the kitchen's trash container is in the way. A small matter but one that symbolizes the unit's weakness: It's cramped. The bathroom is small-closet size. The bedroom has room for a bed flush against the wall and not much else. Other deficiencies: neither bed (the one in the bedroom or the fold-out couch) is comfortable. I think it's fair to say the fold-out is horrible. The place was adequately clean, but the exhaust fan in the bathroom looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the Revolutionary War. Also, the living room window looks out on a parking lot and a nearby high rise apartment building. Despite these criticisms, I am not advising prospective renters to steer clear of this apartment. It's in a secure building located in a nice neighborhood, and it meets one's basic needs. But be prepared for those beds.

      Just amazing

Left on 11/14/2012 for a stay in November 2012

What a amazing location we were a party of five and could not have asked for anything better,we have stayed in many hotels in Boston but this was so relaxing I would highly recommend this town house. It was everything it said on web and then more such a lovely area beside all the shops and restaurants we felt very safe and will defiantly stay there again.

Great place to stay in Boston

Left on 05/17/2012 for a stay in April 2012

This was a very nice suite to stay in on our recent trip to Boston. The description of the suite is accurate and we knew the location of the apartment well in advance. The location is perfect for marathon weekend in Boston. I ran the marathon, and my husband as well as some family came to Boston to spectate. My husband and I stayed in this suite, while other members of the family rented a larger suite in the same building. We were all very happy with the accommodations. The management was very attentive and kept in good contact with us, both during our stay as well as beforehand.

The neighbourhood this apartment is located in is excellent. The street is quiet, but it is only one to two blocks from the action on Newbury Street and Boylston. For a quieter outing and fantastic scenery, the Charles and the Esplanade is about 2 blocks in the opposite direction. Taking the T was very easy and I felt very safe in this neighbourhood. I have lived in Boston before, so I felt comfortable walking around and taking public transport, however, even if you are not familiar with the city, it can be quite easy to navigate.

The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, pans, and dishes, and whatever we did not have on hand we were able to get from a storage closet that we had access to. The apartment was clean when I arrived and I felt everything provided was in good condition. This is an older building so noise from the hallway does carry through the walls, however, the people in this building are very quiet and noise was never a problem.

One nice thing that was extremely helpful was that I was able to leave my bag in the building when I arrived early. This allowed me to explore downtown a bit without having to worry about dragging my bags along. I used paypal for the deposit return and it was in my account promptly.
