We had such a hard time finding a place to stay when we came to Boston for a wedding. There were 14 of us who wanted to stay together and this just didn't seem possible until we found the Sleepafloat boats. We rented this boat the Orion and their bigger boat the White Elephant. There were 10 of us on the Elephant and 4 on Orion. Orion is a bit dated but it was super clean and my mom who slept on the queen bed said it was rather comfortable. Plus it has a huge roof deck!
Both boats were spacious and accommodating and the location was awesome! The boats are centrally located in downtown and it was easy to navigate our way through the city from this location. Everyone we met that weekend who came in for the wedding were extremely jealous of our digs. As they went home to their boring hotel rooms we got to go home to our boats and relax on the roof decks!
It was a memorable vacation for us and I would recommend this to anyone!
Loved it and the location.

The only real thing negative I would add is that it took me about 10 minutes to find it. On the directions it doesn't say the 2nd gate. We really enjoyed the privacy and the light rocking at times. It was plenty big for the 2 of us and the bed was comfortable as well. Plenty of closets and a huge deck on top (doesn't show in the pictures) with a table and about 6 chairs. You can also chill on the bow or stern for 2ish people. Do keep in mind that you can hear others that are outside as there were a few women next to us that were not loud but we could hear them talking even through our ear plugs we wear nightly.
If you need to wash clothes, there is a drop off just across atlantic and Quincy market is about 3 blocks. We would stay there again or maybe check out another boat. You will need matches to light the stove if you plan on using it. The water pressure in the shower will take layers off your skin and my wife has very thick hair got it rinsed in no time. Read more

Thanks so much for the review! Glad to hear you enjoyed your time with us! Hopefully you didn't lose too much skin in the shower! ; ) I will see if maintenance can make an adjustment there. Sorry about the confusion with the gate, most people come from the backside of the building where the parking lot is and see the main gate first. Good to note on our part!
Hope to have you back on board real soon!

Orion was exactly like the pics and better. We enjoyed the location, the private decks, grilling, and size of it. It was comfortable and well equipped. When there was a question and we called our contact person, he was quick to respond and offered help above and beyond. Only areas that could be improved: needed more than one coffee cup, needed a wine opener. Not much to complain about. Read more
