Very comfortable house with large grounds,lovely pool with plenty of shady mature trees.
Excellent local cycling,bikes supplied but we took our own

The location of the house was perfect - beautiful views all around. The house was well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Mr and Mrs Pearson were excellent hosts - making sure everything was safe and problem free. The pool was cleaned every day (essential)and they were extremely helpful with booking accommodation for our journey home. We had a lovely time and couldn't fault any small part of it.

Beautiful location within easy reach of castles, kyaks and shops. Dave and Kate are right next door but are perfect neighbours - out of the way until the moment you need them to fix a car or give directions ! Immaculately kept pool and plenty of well maintained bicycles. The house was clean and well equipped and was enormous for just the four of us. A car is essential. If we get chance we will be back.

We are experienced Francophile self-caterers (20 yrs), This property is among the best that we have used for location, facilities, hosts, and value for money.
In a quiet village (with no services) but only 10 mins from the high-life of Lalinde, the property is set in quiet grassy grounds with sun all day if you want it, or ample shade from the many mature trees or long verandah. The hill-top position of the village provides for views of miles in most directions and promotes a pleasant and welcome breeze.
with friendly, helpful, unobtrusive hosts.The house lacks nothing that we needed - though increasing the pool to 25m would be a plus :o).
We chose the property and location to stay put and relax - but it is well placed for the days out to both the North and South of the Dordogne. You will need a car
