Take a real vacation in this private, very quiet piece of heaven. Shallon at Eaglecliff is a beautiful home surrounded by over an acre of towering hemlock, fir and arbutus trees. The home, on a south facing bluff, is light and bright with walls of windows and a large sunny deck that takes advantage of the spectacular view.
The living room has comfy armchairs and couch in front of a wood-burning fireplace. As an open concept living area, it is joined to the kitchen with stainless steel appliances. All the tools you need to cook delicious meals are here.

My friends and I celebrated my birthday weekend at Shallon. The spot is quiet, the view spectacular and we felt so at home in the rooms and on the grounds. Rooms are comfortable and uncluttered. The kitchen was convenient and user friendly. Our retreat was spacious and well paced. Booking was easy and Heather was a generous and gracious virtual host. I am looking forward to finding another reason to spend some more time at Shallon on Bowen Island in the near future.

Very comfortable with a breathtaking view. The Shallot was a quiet and relaxing get away, not too far from amenities. We not only enjoyed the home but also the lovely locals of Bowen Island who made us feel welcome. One weekend was not long enough.

A pleasant journey by ferry to an Island that is a mix of 1960's era and present day suburbs. The location is high onj a steep waterfront bluff which gives great views of the marine traffic in Howe Sound and all the way to Point Grey in Vancouver. The deck and the open plan make it very comfortable for both those staying and those visiting. There is a beautiful shingle beach about 10 - 15 minutes away. The walk involves a steep path. Overall an excellent experience.
