Oceanside Haven is a private, quiet place to stay with all of the comforts of home and breath-taking views across the Strait of Georgia. Centrally located on Vancouver Island, this two bedroom oceanfront vacation suite is the perfect accommodation for your romantic getaway, wedding, honeymoon, family vacation or anniversary.

The Vacation Suite

There are 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and great room with gas fireplace, as well as a queen size sofa bed. The suite is also equipped with a washer and dryer as well as free high speed WiFi Internet and cable TV. It can sleep up to six people and is furnished with all of t...he amenities you could want for a relaxing vacation on beautiful Vancouver Island. There is easy access to the beach just down the yard from your door.

Oceanside Haven Vacation Suite is 1400sq.ft. with a separate, private entrance and large picture windows to maximize the view of Chrome Island Lighthouse. Complete with pure city water as well as linens, towels, dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils, small appliances, a full size fridge and a barbeque. Just bring your food and clothing and enjoy your BC vacation at Oceanside Haven vacation suite.

It has lush rainforests, amazing wildlife, miles of beaches and many different destinations, each with its own character and charm. There are many Golf Courses nearby as well as Fishing, Scuba Diving and Kayaking (for more fun local attractions, see our Vancouver Island Activities page). If you feel like exploring, you can visit Horne Lake Caves, take a leisurely walk on our beach and explore the tide pools brimming with life, watch the Eagles soaring in the sky above, the Blue Herons catching their fish and the Seals and Sea Lions playing in the Pacific Ocean.

Oceanside Haven is a gateway to all Vancouver Island has to offer. You can head west to Tofino and Ucluelet, known for bear and whale watching adventures and fabulous surfing. Head north to the picturesque Comox Valley, known for its golf courses, marina and quaint towns. Mt. Washington is less that an hour away where you will find skiing in the winter and in the summer, mountain biking or riding the chair lift up to the top of the mountain to enjoy the panoramic views of the Comox Valley. If you head south, visit Qualicum Beach and Parksville, both popular year-round destinations. The world famous city of Victoria, BC is only a two-hour drive south and on the way you can stop in at Chemainus, which is well known for the murals on buildings all through the town.

  My husband and I feel extremely lucky to have found Oceanside haven and have spent several beautiful vacations there. The view is spectacular, the suite is cozy and impecably clean, and Bev is the warmest of hosts who will go out of her way to make sure everthing is the way you want it. Tomm's groceries is close by, and Qualicum Beach is near for some quality eating at Fish Tales. The near-by islands of Denman and Hornby provide excellent hiking and exploring. What we really enjoy the most is enjoying the view from the back yard and watching the hummingbirds at the feeder or the bald eagles soaring over the trees. It's so tranquil and quiet and provides the perfect medicine for hectic city life.

  What a Treat!

  Thanks to Bev and her wonderful "Haven" my family and myself had a great 2 week stay in her cozy suite. The view from the back yard will be treasured for a long, long time. The yard was also the perfect little playground for my 14 mth. granddaughter. Bowser is quite central - not far from Parksville, Courtney and even Nanaimo is only 1 hour away. We definetly are planning on going to the Island again and, of course, staying at Bev's Haven!!

  Great place to stay- Paradise

  After our plans for Canada Day weekend we thought we wouldn't find a nice place to rent but somehow we found Oceanside Haven on the net. Incredible view and very nice accommodations inside. I watched a bald eagle perched on a tree eyeing up fish while waiting for my brother and his wife to arrive. Great place. We won't hesitate to stay again. The owner Beverly was very nice.
