Description from the owner
We are located on a quiet, low traffic road with no houses directly nearby. Our 12 cottages and amenities are spread out over our 6 acre property.
The rustic log cabin is reminiscent of yesteryear, and features an open concept living room (with a sofa bed), dining room & kitchen. It has a bedroom on the main floor and two single beds up in the loft which is accessed by an easy staircase. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen, a gas bbq, and has satellite TV, VCR & DVD player, stereo with CD player, and wireless internet. There is a spacious deck out front and a picnic table to enjoy your outdoor meals.

We are only 20 minutes to historic downtown Charlottetown, 10 minutes to the National Park on the north shore with Brackley Beach and Stanhope Beach and their famous sand dunes, 25 minutes to Cavendish and Anne of Green Gables, and it's only 2 hours to either tip of the island. There is a drive-in movie theater just a few minutes away, as well as a few restaurants, art galleries, mini golf, horseback riding, kayaking, deep sea fishing, golf courses and beaches. You may use our bicycles or take a walk on our safe, low traffic road with scenic views of red cliffs, Covehead Harbour, 2 beautiful bays, and the famous sand dunes on a 3.5km loop.

Great place to stay! My boyfriend and I stayed for a couple nights and were very impressed. Beautiful cabin, was really cool to have the different animals around - kids would love it! Close to town, beaches and attractions. We'll definetly be back again!

We have been a few times to Island Life cottages and every time we went we had a great time ,We went with friends of ours in 2009 and there were 10 of us and we had a fabulous time ,we didnt spend everyhour at the cottages we took advantage of the fact it is so close to Charlottetown. We spent time in Cavendish on the beach , dinners and and late swims in the evenings ,and bonfires . Not to mention the cottages were clean and comfortable . Hugh and Mickey that run the place cant do enough for you ! We will be back for our fifth visit this summer ! see ya then !
