We are located on a quiet, low traffic road with no houses directly nearby. Our 12 cottages and amenities are spread out over our 6 acre property.
The clean and cozy 1-Bedroom Cottages feature an open concept living room / dining room (with a sofa bed), and come with a fully equipped kitchen and gas bbq. They have satellite TV, VCR & DVD player, stereo with CD player, and wireless internet. There is a spacious deck out front and a picnic table to enjoy your outdoor meals.

We are only 20 minutes to historic downtown Charlottetown, 10 minutes to the National Park on the north shore with Brackley Beach and Stanhope Beach and their famous sand dunes, 25 minutes to Cavendish and Anne of Green Gables, and it's only 2 hours to either tip of the island. There is a drive-in movie theater just a few minutes away, as well as a few restaurants, art galleries, mini golf, horseback riding, kayaking, deep sea fishing, golf courses and beaches. You may use our bicycles or take a walk on our safe, low traffic road with scenic views of red cliffs, Covehead Harbour, 2 beautiful bays, and the famous sand dunes on a 3.5km loop.

We just recently stayed at Island Life. It was an amazing experience. Hughie cannot do enough for you. We traveled from NL and upon arrival, there was a playpen and high chair ready for us. The cabin is equipped with all cooking utensils you need. It was very clean and comfortable. Our 8 month old loved the splash pad, swings and pool. The area is nice and clean. There is a washer and dryer on site. If there is something that you need Hughie and Mickey will try to find it for you. They are very friendly and make you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive. There are nightly campfires, although with the baby we did not get to go. They also have a games room for the kids, again we didn't use this either. When we return to PEI again in the future we will definitely will stay at Island Life again. We found it was not too far from the main attractions. We traveled to Cavendish and Charlottletown everyday.

My favorite place on P.E.I The cottages are beautiful & so cozy.My favorite is the Log Cabin.To wake up in the morning & set on the deck with your coffee and all you hear are the birds is a dream come true!I never wanted to leave the property.It is so clean & the pool is so well maintained and clean!If you have children you never have to worry the grounds are so large and away from the road.The owners?well they are the most amazing couple you will ever meet! They make you feel like family.They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need.The camp fires at night are so much fun and they always join in.I could go on and on.This is my most favorite geteway.I promise you once you visit you will always come back.Tami

Our family stayed their for a week and we enjoy our selves and had so much fun. Theirs a swimming pool for children & adults. There are horses to pet and a sheep that walks arund free and loves to be pampered. The cottages are homey and clean and you feel comfortable. Prices are reasonable for Prince Edward Island
