Shell Cove Condominium #9, is a direct Gulf front condo located at 2310 Gulf Drive in Bradenton Beach.This unit has just undergone major renovations, including a new kitchen, new flooring and paint throughout, an in unit washer and dryer and all new furnishings. It is an affordably priced and comfortably furnished two bedroom, one bath, upper level condo directly on the Gulf of Mexico. As frequent visitors to anna Maria we are always scoping out new places to stay. Shell Cove #9 is a wonderful beachside property, conveniently located, wonderfully renovated and comfortable. The pictures are spot on. Only one bath but perfect for a couple or small family. Shhh. Keep it a secret. "Old Florida" at its' best. We'll be back!

We've stayed at Beach House Resort for many years, but thought we'd try Shellcove last May(2012)and loved it! Bigger unit, bigger Tv's, 3 refrigerators! for the same money. Just bummed out it's booked this year for the week we want, oh well, early bird get's the worm.

This is our second say in this room. Everything is fine, except they really need a new queen matress; and the sheets are so pilled they felt like sand paper. I will bring a set of my own next time. Other than that, the stay was wonderful, weather perfect.

We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect because it was close to
Manatee bridge and Walgreens and Publix but not close enough for any
commercial traffic. It is in between Manatee and Cortez bridge so there is
the minimum through traffic. The crowds on the beach were perfectly
acceptable because it is surrounded by other condos. Having only about 20
condos in the unit was nice for us because we like small. The view from the
condo was unbeatable, the cross ventilation great, the sounds and view are
fabulous from inside the condo and the balcony. Sharing the balcony with
the other 9 units was no problem. Even though this is a pet-friendly unit,
there was no residual pet smell--very important to me. The floors are new,
large stone tiles so there is no carpet. Yeah! the unit was very clean. The
absence of the dishwasher was no problem for me--less cooking. The
distance to the beach is truly only steps away--down the stairs, around the
corner and you're onto the sand.
I would strongly suggest a new mattress in the master bedroom.
The service from the management could not have been better. We didn't

My wife and I stayed at Shell Cove #9 on our Honeyoon and were very stisfied with our location choice. The unit was very tidy and nicely kept and conveniently located. The staff was very helpful, pleasant and accomodating. The unit included phone and internet access (not wifi) and the rooms were all very thoroughly furnished with the essentials. The only downsides to the entire stay were: no dvd player instructions (we had a lot of trouble figuring out how it worked), and the cookware was rather cheap. We did manage all right despite these shortcomings and very much enjoyed our stay here. Overall grade is still and "A". Thanks!

The location of this rental couldn't be better. Facing the Gulf of Mexico, you can see and hear it from your front windows. It was a real treat to see all the different "moods" of the gulf and to be able to walk right out onto the beach. Island Vacation Properties provided excellent service, and were extremely responsive. The rental price is quite reasonable for the location. However, I did have a few issues with the unit itself, which can only be resolved by the owners. Items that I would expect to be provided, such as dishwashing soap, paper products, garbage bags, plastic wrap, containers for leftover food, etc, were not there, forcing us to make a trip to the store just for those items. While internet access was provided, it was via a very short cord, meaning that I had to sit on an uncomfortable chair in front of the dresser in the bedroom in order to use my computer. One of the single beds appeared near collapse, having a definite slope and making an unnerving noise when in use. The LR and DR furniture was adequate, but rather uncomfortable. The remote for the DVD player was missing and there were no instructions on using the remotes that were provided. If the owners would make some improvements, I would rate this rental as 5 stars.

The property is beautiful, located right on the Gulf of Mexico. The condo was well equipped, furniture was comfortable, air-conditioning was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with the exception of dish towels and dish cloths (only 1 of each). We enjoyed the view from the balcony where we enjoyed the view and the cool breezes.
The only down side was one of the residents in the complex who harrassed us about parking. The parking spots were not clearly marked but once he pointed it out to us we found the numbers on the pavement partially covered by sand. He said our guests were not allowed to park in the "Guest" parking spaces.
Thanks to Island Vacation Properties we were able to park our extra car there. Some of us had come from Virginia and the others had come from a location in Florida, thus two cars.
