Coquina Beach Club #101 is a beautiful two bedroom, two bath Gulf front condo with a heated pool. This spacious unit has an unobstructed view of the emerald water of the Gulf and you can walk the beach is for miles in either direction. The complex has a large heated pool and undercover parking. There are also chaise lounges available for use on the beach. We have stayed at Coquin Beach Club on several previous occasions and we rented other units at the condo. This past vacation we were lucky enough to stay in unit 101. Everything was perfect. The unit was in excellent shape and with it being located on the south end of the building we enjoyed the sun from morning until it set over the gulf in the evening. When we return soon we will rent this superior unit. The condo was ready as promised and it was extremely clean when we arrived. We love the beach directly in front of the condo. The professional rental staff did all that they could to make our stay wonderful. Just check out these pictures... wow

we have stayed at coquina beach 101 three times it has been clean and the view is excellant the only thing i think they could improve is the bathrooms and they should have wifi other than that we love it

Very nice location. We felt the bathrooms need updated and we felt the place could use a good cleaning, it was dirty. The couch was full of sand and the pillows on the bed smell like sweat,I think if they put pillow covers on the pillows this would have elimated this problem. The draws in the bathroom were full of hair so we couldn't put anything in the draws. I drop something on the master bedroom floor and under the dresser there was a pill. Overall we may the best of this.

We loved the location, the floor plan was great and the pool was very nice. Of course we love the Island. I understand the reason, but...I did't care for the tile floors in the living area. The floors were cold. The dishwasher was being replaced when we arrived and it took 3 days. Not a big issue since we didn't have a lot of dirty dishes. The bathrooms were dated. Need new fixtures and new cabinetry. Also bothersome were the frequent phone calls....all wrong number. In spite of this, we enjoyed our time there and would come again.

Great location, beautiful views of the Gulf from the Condo. This
unit is only a few steps to the beach. My teenage boys were able
to play football on the beach while I was able to take nice long
walks. Beautiful sand and enough shells to find for those who like
to collect them, but not enough that it hurt the feet while barefoot.
My sons and husband enjoyed going to the community tennis
courts each morning that was driving distance from the condo.
The living, kitchen and eating area is a very large area and were in
very good condition. We spent much of our time on the lania
which was furnished with a table and 4 chairs and a lounge chair
which were all in great condition. Bathrooms haven't been
remodeled in years, but were in good working condition and
everything was clean. Bedroom carpets looked like they were
recently replaced. Working washer and dryer that was a huge
convenience. This unit had plenty of towels and washcloths.
We enjoyed the pool everyday, the temperature was around 82
degrees and clean. Lounge chairs are provided on the beach
and pool area, another great convenience. Overall it was a great
place to stay. The only thing we didn't care for is on the outside
of the master bedroom is a light on the side of the building which
kept the room illuminated during the night. It was annoying for
us as it made it hard to sleep. Room darkening shades would be
beneficial for that room rather than the blinds that are currently on

This condo was ok though in a GREAT location on the island. Pros: the condo is an end unit and has side windows, great big newer kitchen dinning room living room combo-Large open area. Nice pool-though the lock on the gate didn't work and our 2 yr old got in pool area easily!!
The condo itself needed some TLC...All furniture is outdated; couch, beds & bedding. Our biggest complaint would be the bathrooms- we didn't even use one of the bathrooms due to the tub not draining when taking a shower and bottom of tub had dirt stains- kids NEVER took a bath (just showers), wall paper falling off wall in other bathroom. The washer & dryer were old and left black marks on some of our clothes. Most of the screens had holes in them. Just felt that we needed to clean before unpacking- not what one wants to do while on vacation. The draws in bedrooms & bathrooms were dirty and needed to be wiped out prior to unpacking. Anna Maria Island is truly a relaxing vacation. We greatly enjoyed the beach just steps from our door. We watched gorgeous sunsets every night from our balcony. The condo was in a great location, close to shopping, the trolley stop, within walking distance to a great beach restaurant for breakfast. The pool was small, but certainly big enough for our use and it was never crowded. The shelling on the beach was great and we came home with lots of seashells. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking in. We found a great fresh seafood store just off the island and cooked our own for a couple of nights. We did miss having a grill, there is not one for the complex either. Our only complaint would be that the beds need to be replaced and none of the remotes worked for the DVD player! Overall, it was a great trip and we will definitely return, even to this very unit.

the appartmend was badly furnished.
The Queen bed was very old and nearly feel into parts. The bathroom looked awful and
dirty.The wallpaper came of the wall.

The best thing was the balcony, but there are
also new furnisher required.

It is a beautiful location! Right on the gulf, amazing sunsets and a
pool too! The Island is very relaxed and fun. The condo was clean and
stocked with the basics. Our unit did not have a blender (necessary for
drinks on vacation)! I called the rental company and one was delivered

I enjoyed our stay. I like getting up and being able to walk out onto the balcony and look at and hear the ocean. It was awesome. We would like to have traveled Dec 2008 but finances did not allow it. I think the rent charge for the week of DEC 26-1/2/2008 was over 1500.00 and that is just too high with the economy the way it is. If this price continues then the property will likely set empty. People can not afford these prices anymore.

My husband and I really enjoy staying at coquina beach club. I would say the best part of it is being steps to the beach.The water is great and it is also very quiet and relaxing. We fly in from Texas so we also appreciate that there are very nice and comfortable lounge chairs we can use.I would say the only downfall about staying here is having to go home.

We stayed at this beach house with our four young children. The view was fabulous and we had wonderful private access to the beach. However, we had several maintenance issues.
The washing machine was broken and filled with water when we arrived. The carpets were very dirty and the vacuum was broken (probably why the floor was dirty). We found cold tablets laying in plain view on the floor of the guest room (thank heavens our children didn't find them first)- a dangerous situation. Also, on the second day after our arrival, the pool closed for the week to be painted (we were not told this in advance even though there was a sign up when we got there which was dated a month before our arrival, so the owners/rental company had to have known). The washing machine was fixed within two days and my husband worked on the vacuum.
We have always used rental condos on our vacations and never had a bad experience before this one. Better maintenance and monitoring by the rental company could make this a wonderful rental property. It is too bad that we had a poor experience because the location of the unit is awesome. Our concerns were dealt with by the owner (who was very pleasant), but it took several days and the rental company seemed unsympathetic about the pool issue. No one offered any compensation for our inconvienance (with four children, dirty carpets, no pool, and no washing machine were a big deal). Nice location - very close to Disney but out of the way enough that you don't get traffic or other park-related insanity. The interior furnishings are very nice. Pretty much everything was as advertised -- they even warmed the pool up when we requested it. Fair warning, though: the pool is tiny. I've literally been in larger hot tubs. Still, our daughter enjoyed it quite a bit.
