It features a large, private spa and spectacular beach views from virtually every room. Unit 9 even has a view of the bay from the bedroom! Numerous chaise lounges are available for your use at beachside. The location of Beach House Resort #9 can not be beat. Your door opens to the "beauty of the beach". Walk down the stairs and you are literally on the white sand. On the street side, you are in walking distance of the shops and multiple restaurants. The service we received from the staff at IVP could not have been better. From the first call last May until the last call after arriving back home, the service was excellent. We arrived to a sparkling clean unit that felt like home from the very first turn of the key. Although we were not there to watch television, an updated wall mounted flat screen would be a big improvement for future guests. Cleanliness is always the most important attribute for my wife, and this unit more than met her expectations. Very clean and fresh smelling. Great spot, great unit and the morning walks on the beach were awesome.

Our stay at Beach House 9 was a joy. We walked the beach every day and explored every niche of the island. Our experience with Island Vacation Properties, both checking in and checking out, was terrific. The vacation fopr us was better than we hoped for. Even the weather cooperated.

After a couple of years of being gone from the gulf coast it was nice to return and see my old friends at Island Vacation Properties. Many thanks to ann and Ed whom accommodated me on very short notice. I look forward to returning to the island to visit and maybe eventually to live. My accommodatins were what I come to expect from the best property manangement company on the island.

We have stayed in this same property the last three or four years. We enjoy the opportunity to re-charge after the holidays without alot of distraction. We are very glad there isn't a pool and therefore is a most restful place to enjoy a true beach exerience of cocktails and sunsets! Only one suggestion for improvement would be the addition of a King size bed instead of the current queen.

The worst problem at the Beach House was the parking. There are no designated parking spots with numbers for each unit, and the first night, and the third night we were there we had to park right by the dumpster. Guests would park using a spot and a half, and therefore there would not be room for everyone to park. I would suggest painting numbers, and drawing lines for parking. Another thing was that the noise from the restaurant next door if you had the living room window open was bothersome. The view, and accomodations were wonderful very updated. I would suggest the rug by the bed be washed. If you are not in shape or elderly the steps would be a problem, but it was not for us.

We are sorry that you had such a problem with the parking, unfortunately we can not control how other guest park their cars. These issues will be addressed and forwarded to the owner.
An update: We have now installed parking bumpers and striped the parking area to designate parking spaces. It's been a huge improvement! Thank for for your comments. We do value your imput. Also the rug by the bed has been replaced. -

We rented Beach House Resort #9 for Christmas week 2009 - we didn't see anyone at the rental company, just picked up and dropped off keys at the mailbox so can't comment on that - but the unit itself was excellent value for the money - newly remodeled, very clean, well-equipped and great ocean views. As an end unit it has an extra window in the living area, which is great, but it's also the end next to a busy restaurant so that can be a minus if you want to open that window. It's very close to the bridge to Cortez and easy walk to Bridge Street. We'll rent there again.

I was in FL tending to mostly business & had my mother w/ me for company. I was worried I would bore her w/ being there while I was focused on business. Part of my business lead me through the door of Island Vacation Properties. There, I was very welcomed by Tom. Tom listened to my many points of interest & needs. He provided an abundance of information. I knew I had stumbled into the right place! He filled Ann in on everything we were looking for & between them both they took very good care of us. Within the hour we were walking through the door of an impressive condo that was way more than we even expected. It was the perfect size for us two & it came along with just about everything we could imagine to have needed. The spa was an extra bonus. What we liked best would be hard to single out. The customer service from Tom & Ann was unmeasurable, the unit was top notch, right on the beach w/ amazing sunsets, the spa was huge & although shared w/ the other building's units we had it to ourselves - so many things were what I liked best. It was all so great its hard to pick a "best". The unit had everything you need to cook a 4 course meal or just have a glass of wine to sit on the deck to enjoy the beautiful evening. There was nothing I liked the least. If I had to say anything that I liked the least...I can only say a small bottle of dish soap would have been helpful as we did not eat at our unit w/ being on the run so much. The few glasses we had was a hand washing amount but the welcome packet did not provide a small bottle to hand wash. That would have been handy instead of us looking all over to find a small bottle of dish soap to purchase at a local store. Our unit & our agents were so great we surely wanted to leave everything as nice & clean as we found it.

The service we received from Island Vacation Properties was great. We loved the home. It was the perfect size for my husband and myself. The location was great. We were a short distance from stores and restaurants and even walked down the beach to dinner on several nights. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again soon!

From the sofa in the unit you can hardly see the sand below, the view is totally water, you are that close!
It's fun to walk out onto the beach to the restaurant next door for breakfast the first day!
We liked that this is not a large condo site with many units. It's cozy. Easy to park and near the Cortez Bridge for quick access to the mainland.

We stayed at Resort #9 for four weeks with our pet and had a wonderful time. The condo was decorated nicely, very clean and had all necessary amentities, such as glassware, dishes, pans and linens. A TV in the bedroom would be nice and the owners have agreed to provide one next year. We liked it so well, we're coming back next year!! One complaint....for our entire stay, the trash was only picked up one time resulting in trash on the ground, overflowing, etc.

We love Anna Maria and have had several rentals there. This was a nice clean rental, great view, and convenient to the restaraunt next door. Although they were remodeling it didn't bother us. Island Vacation Properties is the best to work with.

Wonderful beachfront location. Fell asleep to the sound of surf and
light breezes. Private hot-tub available. Easy parking. Nice morning
walks along the beach PLUS spectacular sunsets? What's to complain
about?
Owners of the units live on Anna Maria and oversee daily service and
maintenance. Even though it's on Gulf Drive, it's surprisingly quiet. Best in-room fully equipped kitchen, new furnishings throughout and
nicest sand beach in Florida. Wi-Fi was fast and constant. Twenty
excellent restaurants and bars within a 10 minute walk.

The condo was exactly as the pictures showed and was very convenient to everything. We have been to Anna Maria Island before and we generally stayed at a couple of different B&B's which were wonderful but the prices have gone up so much at the time we go since March is my boyfriends birthday. I got an email advertising a special on this particular condo and the price was right. There was construction going on at the time we were there but it should be all completed by now.
It has a good restaurant right next door that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and there are several other restaurants within walking distance on the beach.

Very nice accomodations and wonderful private beach. Within walking distance of many eating establishments and shopping. We will definately stay here again.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this condo. The unit itself was newly renovated - very classy and right on the beach!!! It was a little tight for our family of four but enjoyable non-the-less. Being right on the beach rocked!
If there is any downside - there would be two. First, there is a restaurant right next door to the unit. That could be a good thing or bad thing - but the aromas from cooking could be somewhat bothersome. Also, the north part of the building is vacant and unoccupied/under construction - or at least is was when we stayed there.
