The house is adorable. The Pool and landscape around the pool including the wonder privacy fence are wonderful. Pool was warm and very clean. Screened in patio/comfortable patio furniture was great for relaxing and reading. The house was equipped with all the amenities for cooking eating in or grab a bike and ride around the corner to wonderful quaint restaurants. The beach is 2 blocks from the door there is a wagon and all the beach equipment/toys to go sit on the beach and relax. This was our 1st time in this area and we will definitely return again and again!!!

We stayed at the Sugar Shack the week of Oct 9 - 16. Was very relaxing to enjoy the closeness to the beach and the pool outdoors was great. When we arrived the neighbors had trimmed their bushes over the fence and some of that had gotten into the pool. A quick call to Sheila had her contacting the pool service to clean it right away. Very accomodating. The beach was totally awesome to watch the sunsets and we rode bikes to the bay side in the mornings to watch the sun come up. Great place to stay.

My wife and I spent two fabulous weeks at the Sugar Shack Cottage during Sep 12. It was just exactly what we were looking for - a home away from home. Sugar Shack is equipped with everything you could need and we didn't want for a single thing. The highlight was probably the very private tropical pool area but the home has everything you could want for a holiday and the situation is excellent. We were a short (2 - 3 mins) walk from the beach and from the free aMI trolley bus stop. It may have helped that we were there in September but the street was so quiet. Highly recommended.

This was our second time to visit Sugar Shack and once again we had a blast. The house is beautiful and has everything you need for your trip. The pool is wonderful - we lived in the backyard. Bradenton Beach is a wonderful vacation spot for a family and the Sugar Shack is the only place we would ever dream of staying. Sheila makes sure you feel at home and we greatly appreciate her sharing her paradise with us. We plan on coming back next year!

The Sugar Shack is clean, spacious and has a private pool. Just a short walk to the beach. There are bikes, games, books etc. This was what my family extremely needed in a vacation. Relaxing and beautiful!!!

Our family of five had the best time at the Sugar Shack! But let me tell you, this is no shack! We had plenty of room between the three bedrooms and spacious lanai. The place is super clean and we loved the decor-it was bright and cheery but also modern. The first bathroom with the walk-in shower made me so jealous because it was so cool and I want it at my house. We like to cook while on vacation and the kitchen was very well-appointed and the grills came in very handy. The highlight of course was having our own pool-the kids were in heaven! They were either in the pool or at the beach,which is a very short walk. We used the wagon everyday to transport our two year old and cooler to the beach. Sheila really has thought of everything when it comes to this home, which made our vacation that much nicer! We will definitely be back!

My family of 4 had a great week at the Sugar Shack. The owner had thoughtfully included every convenience. There was a wagon, chairs, a cooler, and bikes to take to the beach. The salt water pool was so nice and we really enjoyed the landscaping. The lanai was such a relaxing place to have coffee in the mornings. The bathrooms were very clean and it was helpful to have two. It was a quick walk to the beach and close to restaurants. We would definitely love to stay there again next year. It felt like home by the end of the week and we didn't want to leave!

We arrived to a very clean , bright and very comfortable beach cottage.
The pool area was just beautiful and very clean. We spent alot of time on the back porch, great for morning coffee and evening drinks.
Very convenient to everything.
This is a great beach house has everything you could possibly need or want, close to beach and the owners are very nice. Would go back again and again.

We stay at the Sugar Shack February 25-March 3rd. I am not going to lie I was extremely nervous booking a house that I had never seen and basing my decision on pictures on the webisite. When we arrived my fears quickly were gone. The house is better than the pictures! It had everything and then some that we needed for the week. The outdoor pool was just wonderful and our favorite part of the trip! It was great to have our own little slice of paradise!! Being in the back yard was so private and quiet. This was our first vacation with our daughter who is 2 and this house and location was perfect for kids!! The pool was extremely warm, the house was set up great for little ones to play and with just a short walk to the beach we did not have to worry about loading up the car. The beach wagon was great and again the house had all the beach stuff we needed even sand toys!! The owner Shelia, was wonderful! We was really concerned about us being happy with the property and wanted to know about any issues so she could resolve them immediatly. This was one of the best vacations we ever had and I am so glad we booked the Sugar Shack! We are looking forward to comming back next year!!!

The Sugar Shack was a wonderful place to stay. Located in a quiet, secure neighborhood it had the feeling of being at home. Literally a minute or two was all it took to get to the Gulf beach which made for some very nice walking, shell hunting, swimming. and of course sunset viewing. The heated pool with the surrounding lush tropical plants was especially nice (and very private too). The Sugar Shack had all the amenities anyone would ever need. I would like to especially thank Sheila for making sure our stay was both an enjoyable and memorable one. We can't wait to get back to the Sugar Shack.

The Sugar Shack is a fun, comfortable place to stay. The close access to the beach was a definite plus for walking & watching the beautiful sunsets.The pool area at the house is like a little tropical paradise. What a great place to be to get away from winter in Ohio. We wish we could have stayed longer & hope to return someday. Sheila was only a phone call away for any questions we had. This is our 3rd year to vacation at the Sugar Shack and it gets better every time. The beach is only a short walk away or stay at the house and enjoy the private pool. The backyard is soo beauitifully landscaped. The pictures do not do it justice. The Sugar Shack is stocked with everything you need druing your stay including plenty of pool and beach toys. The island is very peaceful and the perfect place to just relax. We hope to continue staying here for years to come.

Such a wonderful cottage with everything you need. Decor is really great, funky FLa with lots of neat cheerful colours and a screened in linai that we lived in..They recently installed plastic roll windows that make it cozy even at night or on a windy day. Pool was great, heated and nicely secluded..Easy walk to the beach especially with the included wagon and beach chairs. Also had lots of fun riding around the island on the cruise bikes they supplied.

Nobody wanted to leave our favorite new vacation spot!!!We feel so fortunate to have found the Sugar Shack after pouring through so many listings!! The absolute charm,gorgeous decor and amazing pool have not really been captured in pictures...it was like opening a favorite package on Christmas morning when we turned the key!! Our every need was met...well stocked linens,kitchen and beach supplies..Very family oriented...although to "escape"back here with just my husband is the next plan!!! lovely home, great location, decorated with old Florida charm. Great pool that was used a lot. Grille and pool were the hot spots to be found. Really comfortable. Plenty of parking for three vehicles. The aC wokred great, could hang meet if you wanted too. Had wonderful time taking the short walk to the beach to watch the sunset. Played vollyball with the family. Can't wait until we can go back. Just a great place to kick back and relax.

Great location for every need.Having the wagon to haul beach stuff was great.The home was clean and was very well kept.The pool was great and the landscape beautiful.Sheila conducted business very well and stood by her contract and the deposit was refunded in the time manner which she stated in the contract.Sheila is a excellent land-lord for rental along with total honesty in what she expects from her prospective renters. I was born and raised in Fla., this is the most beautiful beach to visit in the states.I lived on the atlantic side but the Gulf side and this area in my opinion are the very best!!

This is our 5th year satying here. Our family loves the area the beach location and the fabulous pool. The cottage is very comfortable for 6 guest and has all the amentities you need. Wonderful place and an awesome island if you like to relax enjoy beuatiful beaches, sunsets and restuarnats.

The Sugar Shack had everything for the perfect vacation-beautiful private pool, 2 min walk to gorgeous beach, fun and clean home, even beach toys for the kids. This was our first time to stay in a rental home and we will never stay in a condo again.
