The Bay Breeze, located at 402 20th Place North, is a lovely, two bedroom and two bath canal front home with a new large deck, boat dock and davits. It has undercover parking and a large screened lanai overlooking the natural canal. There is a gas grill on the new deck. This is a perfect home for fishing enthusiasts! This house was worth every penny. The house is spacious and well furnished. The storage area is stashed with useful items for the beach, as well. If you're looking for a beautiful waterfront view, you're not going to get it here, but it sits on a nice bay canal which is quiet and peaceful. Even though its not ocean front, the beach is only a couple blocks away and easily accessible by foot. Wold definitely stay here again!

Pros of the house is the location. Maybe 5 min walk to the beach in a nice quiet neighborhood. The home is very well stocked and the backyard is secluded and beautiful. Everything you need for the beach is included.
The Cons are that its really showing its age. A new coat of paint and updated furnishings are in order. The couches look dirty and the walls look as if they've never been repainted since it was built.

Overall very nice house. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of Linens. Access to the beach accessories was key. Nice quiet neighborhood, and the back yard is sheltered very nicely. We look forward to renting this property in the future.

The best feature of this house was the beautifully landscaped back yard and dock overlooking a lush mangrove thatgave the illusion of privacy and was a great place to sit in the shade by the water and read a book while my family fished from the dock almost every day here. The beach is a short walk away(house is 4 streets from the beach).
Kitchen is another a+ for this house. It is well stocked with everything that you would need to stay here a week or longer.
Here was the down side of our vacation. When we first got to the house way past the 4pm check-in time, we discovered that the house was not cleaned. After a phone call to the owner, who contacted the rental company, Island Vacation Properties, LLC, we were told that the cleaning crews were on the way. However, when I called the rental company back to ask how long it would be before the cleaning crew gets there so that we can decide whether to go to dinner, I got a surprisingly curt response. The lady who answered the phone was very unapologetic and sounded annoy as if I was bothering her. Needless to say this gave me a very negative impression of this rental/property management company. The owner, on the other hand, apologized many times for the cleaning oversight and was very helpful throughout the rental process. I did not appreciate being snub by the rental company,Island Vacation Properties, for something that was their fault.
Once the house was cleaned, we found that the interior was tastefully decorated. However, the house is beginning to show its' wear and tear. One of the couches is starting to look old and dirty so we all avoided sitting on it. The Master bathroom has a crack on the toilet lid and the shower tiles started to have mildew appearing in few places.
For the price, this is a pretty decent rental for the week if you do not need anything extra from the Property Rental Company while you are here but I would say that the interior could use some updating.

We are convinced that this property is the best place to stay on the island. It is located on a quiet street with a view of the bay and a short stroll to the beach. A canal-front home with a private dock and outdoor shower, which was great for washing off the sand before going into the house. The home was spacious and attractive; it was exactly as is was promoted on the web site. It was even better than the photos. We felt like we were familiar with the place by the time we got there because of the way the owner described it and the photos that were provided.
The area was private, yet not deserted. Close to the Publix, a wide range of restaurants and all of the beaches on the island. The amenities are endless. Everything was provided: beach towels, beach chairs, skim boards, bikes, dishes, laundry facilities...all we had to bring was our clothes.
