Coquina Beach & Anna Maria Island are 25 minutes drive, and Longboat Key & Sarasota are 30 minutes. The famous Ellington outlet shopping mall is 15 minutes drive, local shops are 5 minutes. Busch Gardens/Tampa Airport 50 minutes. Electric pool heat can be requested and carries an additional $140.00 per week charge

Villa was spacious and clean. Pool in excellent working order and fabulous to swim in - kids loved it - rings provided. Had recently been painted internally so very fresh looking. Phone didn't work, carpet stained behind the twin beds, bedroom TV not working - however, Ivon from Universal Office did his very best to resolve, including providing what free movies were available on the main tv and providing a new bin. His overview and map of the area was very helpful. Guess the villa furnishings are a little dated but in very good condition. Villa well posiitoned next to the highway, so only 25 minutes to anna Maria Island or Sarasota center. Would I stay there again - absolutely!

The villa seemed okay, just a bit warm (84 on thermostat) when we arrived. The villa stayed warm all through the night and finally went down to 70 the next morning. In the meantime, the pool was covered with very small insects, some dead and some alive, so we couldn't even take a swim. We informed the staff the following morning, whose name I cannot remember but he was French. Pool guy came that very afternoon and sorted out water level and filter got to work. When cooking, the temperature went up by a few degrees and stayed up until the following morning. The room with the twin beds was also hot, even with the ceiling fan on. Also, only one ring on stove top works at any one time. Having said all these things, the villa was okay. The view was lovely. The location was convenient for beaches and any watersport you would want. The best feature of the villa had to be the all day sun trap, perfect for lounging by and in the pool.

The home was the best equiped house we have stayed in & was in a very quiet location. Easy walking distance to the local Outback & Applebees restaurants.
We were very disappointed with the office staff. A lack of English language skill & understanding of our questions resulted in the same answer 'I don't know, I am French'! Very frustrating
